Masterful!

Wow absolutely fantastic plotline. I loved it. I really enjoyed Halley and Gabril and Morgan was the creme at the top of an awesome dessert of characters. I was never sure how it was really going to end but Sharon did a beautiful job and kept it unpredictable. Bravo Woman! Considering all the life drama you nailed it no compromise!!!!!!!!!!! Write on ! Best book in the series so far because it challenges preconceived beliefs all the way around.

Domestic terrorists are out to stop Halley Hansen in her promotion of women's power. In a special black ops operation headed by the CIA, Morgan Hansen, ex-Navy SEAL is tasked with protecting his ex-wife.

Bachelor SEAL is full of danger, suspense and romance to add to the excitement with a climatic ending. The story moved quickly, was humorous at times and I loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone that loves a good story about strong military men saving the day.

This is so good!

Another SEAL story that is as unique and individual as they come. I loved this story line. Their’s was a bittersweet reunion with a huge shadow hanging over it. Morgan has learned the hard way that his failed marriage was a large lesson learned. He just wasn’t cut out for forever relationships since he and Halley split 10 years ago. Being a SEAL is very difficult on the spouse left at home for long periods of time not knowing what was going on and when/if their loved one was coming home.

Halley has moved on and made something of her life. Her inspirational speeches were renowned. She lived a comfortable life because of her determination to be all she can be and embrace being an intelligent woman with a purpose in life.

To the radicals, she was a threat, the enemy to their beliefs and needed to be stopped and made an example of. Morgan and his secret (former) SEAL Team are just the men that can protect Halley and infiltrate and flush out the terrorists. I loved the way these guys had no qualms about stepping into danger and doing what they do best by formulating a protective plan even if the target is the ex-wife of their teammate.

An easy to read and fast paced story that has many twists and turns with unexpected details. I loved the way Morgan is completely at peace with his undiminished feelings for Halley even after not seeing her for the 10 years they have been divorced. Halley is also totally committed to the love she still has for Morgan. The danger that Halley is in is an intriguing main element in this story and how it is written is fantastic. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it. I devoured this story and can’t wait until the next one! I loved it!

The Sleeper SEALs stories are part of a group of books written by talented authors, each story a stand alone. What unifies the stories is that the series is based on a group of retired Navy SEALs recruited by the government to work solo dark/black ops missions. The common thread is their commander, Greg Lambert.
In this one, the retired SEAL is Morgan Hansen, and his mission is to protect his ex-wife, Halley Hansen, whom he hasn’t seen in 10 years. There is intel of a possible terrorist attack not only to her, but to hundreds of women attending one of her empowering seminars.
At first, neither of these characters seemed likable. Morgan appears to be an alcoholic, living an aimless lifestyle and whose only interest is his “Bachelor SEAL” group of friends. Hailey is a bit too prickly for my liking and her “empowering” personality was a tad extreme at the expense of everything else. But somehow, they started to “grow” on me as their characters became less annoying and their “masks” started to come off.
The action, suspense, doubts on whom to trust, and the complexity of the relationship between Morgan and Halley, will keep your interesting going. What started as a 3 star rating, quickly moved to a 4 star . Not surprising when you have a book written by a talented author like Ms Hamilton.
I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Bachelor Seal..Amazing Book

Sharon Hamilton could write the back of a cereal box and you would be astounded and amazed by her prose. Morgan and Halley are written to perfection warts and all.
The thought that terrorists are in our world is a hard one to deal with but that they exist in our country makes me sad and mad at the same time. This book reminded me of all the military heroes who have fought for our freedoms and how proud we a should be of them. Morgan was a strong protector who lost his way through injury and retirement with no mission to accomplish. Once the mission of protecting his ex wife was approved he had a purpose again. Character development made this book so much more intense. You like the characters and you care about what happens to them. I read this in one sitting could not put it down. The Sleeper Seal's series is one no one should miss and with some of the best military authors involved you know you are getting fabulous stories.

Halley Hansen and her ex-hubby, former SEAL Morgan Hansen, have both grown a lot since their divorce. Halley’s career as a motivational speaker has unexpectedly thrown Halley and Morgan back together again. Morgan now works security for black ops missions. When he discovers there’s a connection between Halley and a terrorist organization, Morgan finds he must do all he can to protect Halley.

I really like author Sharon Hamilton’s Sleeper SEALs series. The heroes are somewhat flawed, less than perfect, and I like that. The problems that they overcome are so much more realistic to me and I always root for the underdog.

Narrator JD Hart is flawless as usual in this audiobook that comes in a just over 6 hours. JD Hart nailed the emotion that this story evoked. I listened to this story in one sitting and still it was over much too quickly.

Hamilton is back with a new twist on the SEAL romantic suspense. The Sleeper SEALs are a bit older and wiser and can still get the job done, but don't get caught because no one will know your name.

Morgan and Halley haven't seen each other in a decade. They have each moved on after their disastrous marriage. When a threat to Halley, an international celebrity motivational speaker comes to Morgan's attention, he is all in. This is one of the most emotionally revealing SEAL romances Hamilton has written. The characters are well-written and the story is well-paced.

I highly recommend this book to fans of the contemporary romance or military romance genres.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a complementary copy of this book.

Loving this series about Seals who have left or been forced to retire from serving through injury and now being recruited for secret missions. Lots of suspense and tension building towards the climax of the story, with some hotness and steam thrown into the mix. I loved the characters, they all worked well together. Great flow of words throughout the book and the story itself is interesting. The idea of these guys still being of use to their country when they themselves are feeling washed up and useless is as awesome as the guys themselves. Well written and just as brilliant as Sharon Hamilton's main Seals series.

WOW! This is definitely a second chance romance. Morgan thought his life was worthless until his best friend gave him the second chance to be with Halley. It is interesting how ten years apart can change people get stay somewhat the same. The strength that Halley showed was not lost on Morgan. These two found their happily ever after again after the threat was neutralized. FANTASTIC job Sharon! I would recommend this book.

OH WOW!! We normally get to see the best of what makes a SEAL so infamous. In this book, we get to see a side that shows no matter how wonderful and heroic - they have battles and flaws just like the rest of us. Sometimes, those flaws destroy and push loved ones away.
It’s been over a decade, life has moved forward in monumental ways for Halley while for Morgan they are moving but stagnating also. Until Halley’s - Women’s Empowerment conventions marks her as a terrorist cells target for elimination… No matter the consequences… Morgan will do everything in his power to protect her, evening coercing his way into a super secret task force.

Sharon Hamilton has written a beautiful and thoroughly intriguing book that deals with real life issues. Beautiful, angst filled, drama and suspense and dealing with the ramifications of when love doesn't always work out the way we planned.

Incredibly strong, caring characters, with such depths of inner fortitude, that never give up attitude, even when life throws curve balls and gets tough. It’s always good to catch up with familiar team members and know they are there for each other no matter what - they are family and will do whatever it takes to protect those they love. I loved the addition of two seals that worked hard put didn't quite make it yet given an opportunity to showcase their humour and skill sets...

Tensions are high, suspense leaves you waiting. No matter what - you have to trust your former training, trust your innate instincts, focus, attention to detail, and put any differences aside - to save those your love even when you know you are not what’s best for them.

Those aspects of the book were great… a few minor details that could have been further explored, as they added to that escalating tension and suspense (her assistant and brother). I think sometimes Authors need more room to really make their stories come alive. Novella’s I don’t think give that opportunity, especially in a story like this where it needed more room to develop a plot and all that was going on… I would have liked to have seen more story with the two young Seals that infiltrated to show that side of the terrorists plot… while there was always chemistry with Halley… a new man was there and that ending could have been so much more… but that’s a reader wanting more and more… which I figure can’t always happen. I still loved reading this story, the cultural differences and similarities that we all are as human beings… we want love, we want equality, we want freedom to be who we are.

Sharon Hamilton is one of my favourite authors in Military/Romantic Suspense genre. If you love page-turning, breath taking words, along with dramatic tension and romance - Sharon, delivers this and so much more for her readers.

Bachelor SEAL: Bone Frog Brotherhood by Sharon Hamilton is book 5 in the Sleeper SEALs series but also part of Ms. Hamilton's Bachelor SEALs series.

I have read all of the SEAL Team 3 series by Sharon Hamilton and loved them all. This addition was enjoyable and a good addition to both series. However, it did have some minor editing issues which I'll give the story a solid 4 star rating.

Morgan Hansen hates being medically retired from the Teams and has created the Bone Frog Brotherhood that meets at the Rusty Scupper Bar as needed when a newly divorced team member joins the rank. But when his former team member JJ comes to his house with information on his ex-wife, Halley Hansen, being in danger he jumps at a chance to help out. But first he has to convince Commander Greg Lambert who's running the Sleeper SEALs that he's up to the task without causing problems for both his ex and the Sleeper team.

Halley Hansen isn't just Morgan's ex-wife but also a very successful Women's Empowerment speaker. But someone is sending her threats when she encourages attendees to stand up to what they want. When Morgan shows up at her home with information that she'll be in danger if she doesn't cancel her next summit, does she believe him or is it just a way to get back in her good graces? It will take intervention by JJ to convince her that the threats are real and she needs bodyguards to protect her. But can they keep their hands off of each other even though she's been seeing Gilbril for almost a year.

Kyle Landsdowne Team 3s leader shows up briefly but mostly you have new former SEALs, Delta Force, and two new linguists Stanley and Taylor who were unable to pass recent physical tests. But there were too many unanswered questions did Gilbril just accept the Morgan and Haley were a couple? What about the Isis Cell where they able to shut them down? Because of the loose ends I gave the story 4 stars and look forward to the next book in the series.

Bachelor SEAL

This was another great story in this multi author series with this centering on a former SEAL, Morgan who was asked to join the secret CIA group after his friend JJ was approached to guard his former wife. He was not letting anyone protect her except him because he did not trust anyone else with her well being. Commander Lambert the boss relented and allowed him to work on this case. Halley was a motivational speaker who encouraged women to be all that they can be with speeches around the country. A terrorist group wanted to kill her for trying to lead young women astray in their culture where women were discouraged to become individuals. Morgan and Halley had a rough start reconnecting but they really still loved each other after being apart for ten years the flame was still there. The one thing in his favor was she always felt safe when they were together and sex was incredible. How the secret group worked out the logistics on how to flush out who the terrorists were and if they were going to disrupt her next speaking engagement was amazing. She was going through with her engagement just to take the terrorists down as long as Morgan was by her side she felt safe. It was non stop action with a surprising ending as Halley and Morgan get their happily ever after. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to the next release in this series.

I thought it was interesting the way Morgan seemed to lose control when it came to Halley. I didn't expect that complete lack of control with him being a SEAL. But, he seemed to be on the edge of losing control throughout the book, when he wasn't actually losing control.

It seemed like Halley had the ability to be Morgan's soft place to land, to calm him down. Which was surprising, considering she was his ex-wife, and they both seemed so bitter. Also, considering how, after years of being apart, their first meeting was so combustible.

I was confused about the story of Halley being in danger. Maybe I missed something. I'm not sure if it was just because she was high profile and having these seminars on empowering women, or because of who she was dating, or if her assistant and her driver involved? They were a few things that didn't tie together smoothly for me. I wondered what the point was of certain aspects being added to the tale. There seemed to be a number of facts in the story that there wasn't enough detail about it didn't make much sense being there.

An ok second chance romance with a storyline that starts out to be intriguing and eventually comes to a positive conclusion with a HEA.

Well done entry to the Sleeper SEALs series. Halley Hansen is a high-powered women's empowerment guru. As you might expect, that is a hot-button issue in the book as well as in real life. There are Islamic sleepers in the U.S. who are indignant at her ideas. As it happens, her ex-husband Morgan is a washed up old SEAL (not really), but with enough emotional damage to never have been selected by Commander Lambert for the Sleeper assignment. He bullies his way in though and proceeds to demonstrate why he is NOT fit for the job.

His colleague J.J. is the one who should be assigned and that is shown on more than one occasion. Kudos to Hamilton for letting Morgan be an idiot and not really the hero he once was. There are, in no particular order, a reconciliation, a reckoning and the end of another threat. Good one, except for the numerous spelling/grammar errors (shoot/chute, canons, cannons, lead/led). Presumably, those can be fixed and Amazon can let the buyers download a revised version.

J.J./Hank is given an assignment that involves a good friend and former SEALS's ex wife so he goes to Morgan and tells him that his ex is in danger and Morgan insists on being in on the assignment. Eventually he wears Commander Lambert down and he agrees to allow him on this one mission.

Halley is his ex-wife and she is targeted because she is a powerful speaker who inspires women to be better and change the world. She is targeted by radicals who want to silence her and her message that empowers women.

The tension between Morgan and Halley is evident from the beginning of their first meeting in 10 years. They are both stubborn, strong, passionate, and while she is professional, he is angry.

This is a story of second chances and terrorism. It was fast paced and there were a few hairy moments. It is what I have come to expect from Ms. Hamilton's books. Sexy, fast paced, great characters and hot Navy SEALS who have met their match.

Still a Bachelor?

This was a pretty good read. I love the series and have discovered several new authors and new, related series/serieses, whichever. I felt there was WAY too much time on the hero's Bonefrogs group. Several questions were left unanswered; for example, what about the assistant, what about the assassin, who was taken into custody (if anyone,) what about Gibril, what about the second ginger, etc. It was as if the ending and the tying up loose ends part was rushed. I, as the reader, didn't get a good feeling of closure PR even a promise of, "To find out what happens next, check out my next book." I did like the dynamics of the hero and heroine. I liked the premise of the heroine's female empowerment workshops. To give the author the benefit of the doubt, I could have missed some of the details that I said was left off due to fatigue or distraction.

Halley Hansen is divorced and now coming into her own. She has become an inspirational speaker empowering women. She has been building her name brand for several years and the culmination is coming with the sold arena. Morgan Hansen was a Navy SEAL. He was injured and now runs a group of SEAL's dealing with PTSD and stress. Some thinks it's a waste of time but it helps him deal with his anger. When friend JJ shows up, he knows something is wrong. Now he needs to be let in on the operation. If not, there will be no stopping him. He will always protect Halley. When he shows up, she does not believe it. When she starts to meet the team, she knows there is a terrorist attempt on her life. She will do anything to keep everyone safe. This is also a chance for Halley and Morgan to find there way back to each other.

Sleeper SEALs Book Five.

As a member of the Bone Frogs, Morgan Hansen is strictly single. However, when he finds out that his ex-wife is in danger, he forces the leaders of the task force protecting her to include him. Halley Hansen is a motivational speaker empowering women and now threatening the way of life for radical Muslims. When Morgan appears and tries to convince her she is in danger, along with all of her followers, she can't believe him. Proof of the threat is required. After Morgan's partner convinces her that her seminars are targets, Halley finally allows the team to work with her for security, including Morgan.

If you're looking for a second chance romance with retired SEALs and powerful women, this is the story for you!

There’s a lot about this story that I really enjoyed. Morgan and Halley are very appealing, and the storyline is engaging. The drama was good with a buildup of suspense that at times may keep you on the edge of your seat, but I almost rated this 3 stars because it lacked that potential you usually expect from this author’s books.

Morgan and Halley’s return to intimacy was unexpected and didn’t feel like a natural course based on their behavior up to that point. Also, the storyline was a bit choppy at times with several unexplored threads. It was like some vital scenes were cut which would have provided more depth. Having said this, I still really enjoyed the story. It is a quick, easy entertaining read.

Jay Johnson, JJ, and Morgan Hansen are retired SEAL’s from SEAL Team 3. They are teamed up as part of a covert government operation assigned to stop a terrorist plot against Halley Hansen. Halley is Morgan’s former wife and a motivational speaker whose primary audience is woman. In this fast paced story we meet some new members of SEAL Team 3 as well as some former members that we met in the past.
This is the 5th book in the Sleeper SEALs series. I haven’t read anything by Sharon Hamilton that I haven’t loved. She has well developed characters and an intriguing and believable story. If you like a good romance with some drama thrown in then this book is for you.

Clashes of beliefs
Action, adventure throughout this book. You have a possible sleeper cell, a few Ex-Seals, an Ex Wife and her boyfriend from a different culture all involved.
Halley has built her career of inspiring women with her seminars for several years now. With a larger one coming up soon and it looks like it’s sold out.
In strolls her Ex-husband of 10 years and Ex-Navy Seal, Morgan, telling her she may be a target of a sleeper cell.
This book has a lot of action and adventure as well as the mystery of who is the inside person. Well written self-contained story that very entertaining to read.

Bachelor Seal: Another fantastic Seal Story! I loved the characters so much. Sharon Hamilton does let her readers down with these stories. I loved the story plot and dialog. It was hot and steamy when then they finally caved. I loved how Morgan was trying really hard to not follow through with how he was still attracted to Halley. I loved that still has the attraction to her even though they weren't together anymore but he will still bend over backward to protect her. I loved how the whole story was written and it was wonderful romance and what the Seal's do to keep everyone safe.

Morgan's friend J.J. comes by the morning after Morgan had one of his bachelor initiations with news that Morgan's ex wife is being targeted by terrorist. J.J. has been asked to help out the CIA with a covert operation, but can Morgan convince them that he'll be an asset as well? And when Halley learns of the dangers, will she be able to work with her ex let alone believe the threat to be true? After ten years of not speaking to one another, I enjoyed the struggles between Morgan and Halley and the emotions of the love they once shared come back.

Bachelor SEAL is a good story in the Sleeper SEALs series. Morgan is the head of the Bachelor of Seals group of guys who all become divorced and need help adjusting to the single life. Halley is his beautiful famous ex who is now in trouble. JJ will be tasked by Commander Lambert to run a team to stop what trouble is headed Halley's way.. Well Morgan will not let anyone but himself protect his ex wife. Sparks and buttons will fly in all directions and when the dust settles Morgan and Halley will never be the same. Happy Reading!!!

Love this series. The retired SEALs have a purpose after all. Most of them medically discharged for one thing or the other, have been out to work keeping us safe from terrorist attacks in our country. Morgan is one such DEAL and he is charged with keeping his ex-wife safe. If course the fire hasn't died out for either of them and the chemistry still flows. GOT AND HEAVY!!!

I am really enjoying this series and each of the authors approach. It is a lot of fun seeing how each author takes on their mission. Morgan is a much more sensitive man than he gives himself credit for. A stoic fighter who feels lost with out a mission and then gets the mission of a lifetime to not only save people but get a second chance at love. Enjoyed the humor from the characters. A very enjoyable read.

When an attack planned by a radical terrorist cell are revealed, SEAL Morgan Hansen is brought in on the mission, as the target is his ex-wife. Hailey Hansen is a self-made woman empowerment guru, and seeing her ex again is the last thing she wants.
This book keeps you on your toes, while trying to figure out who's working with the terrorists, and yet secretly wanting Morgan and Hailey to work things out. Another great book by Sharon Hamilton, one you can't put down once it starts.

The least liked so far. Too much sex at crucial times of the mission. 10 years apart, 1 sex moment and back together like nothing happened. No back story on either of Morgan or Halley’s lives. No family background, what Morgan went through after the breakup, what caused the breakup,.
The longest book in the series so far but the least story.
I was disappointed after all the expense in the other books so far. There was no edge of the seat action. .

Another great read for an amazing series of Sleeper Seals. Love the camaraderie and friendship between Morgan and J.J. Love reading the second chance at love for Morgan and Halley.
