This book is by far the greatest I’ve read in the field of Christian Mystic and it’s impact on the development of Western Ideas and spirituality.
Not only the book lead us along the chronological history of esoteric Christianity, but it also give life to the message in its magnitude and depth.
The book has a profound philosophical and mystical momentum, inviting the reader to a transformation, for those receptive to its content.

A favorite book. Makes me feel like I'm a living, contributing member of a line of monks that goes all the way back to the beginning of humanity. Ennobles the quest of even humble spiritual aspirants.
