Andrew Hussie is the creator of MS Paint Adventures, a collection of webcomics that includes Homestuck, as well as of several other webcomics, books, and videos.
As Hussie continued writing problem Sleuth, his skill as a cartoonist and animator grew to an amazing degree. This was great for the comic, as it became cooler and cooler.
Unfortunately, it means that the comic works less and less well as a book, as the animations don't shift media that well. This is the first book where I *really* felt the lack. Felt it to the the extent that I don't think I'll be picking up the next one.
The early parts of Problem Sleuth are pretty slow, and after the first few chapters I wasn't sure whether I'd want to go on, but by the time I started on this 4th section (at which point I was 13 chapters in, of 22 total) I was totally sold.
