“Mission Mind”! Supergirl’s powers mean nothing when she’s trapped inside the consciousness of a killer. Creeping through the mind of a Kryptonian monster, Supergirl finds herself on a suicide mission to return Lar-On to sanity inside the D.E.O.
Steve Orlando... For Rao's sake, it's Steve Orlando again... Shoot me... shoot me now... Rebirth version of Supergirl was among the worst comics in the new universe from very beginning. Judging by my own feelings and the other reviews here, on Goodreads, nobody really liked what Steve Orlando did to Supergirl. DC needed to change writer ASAP. And after the first volume / story arc, they had that chance. But you know who did they change? Artist. Like Matias Bergara can save Steve Orlando's bloody awful writing...
Long story short - Kara should travel to Lar-On's mind and learn a lot of boring stuff about his troubled childhood... Again, like it was with the previous story from Steve Orlando, it's the most generic, boring and uninspiring things you can ever imagine. You can skip this one completely and you still won't miss anything interesting. A writer, who doesn't even try to create something unique and interesting is like the worst thing ever...
In this issue we see Supergirl enter the mind of another Kryptonian. It's like the movie Dreamscape. I dig the art in this series. It lends a funkiness to the story.
Ooh look they are ripping off inception or maybe a story from earlier, in this issue, Kara connects to Lar-on's mind to try to find a solution for his issues. The rating is maybe 3.7 or 3.8.
I have always loved comics, and I hope always to love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.
