With war on the horizon, Nina Aralias, a Denard, finds herself at odds with her people, and adrift in the unstable political climate.
Out for revenge, Nina is shoved into the path of a man from her past, and forced to face the mistakes of her youth. Will she choose love and the possibility of a real future, or revenge and the certainty of death? Of course, that’s if the Universe doesn’t collapse around her first …
Book 1 in this series grabbed my attention and each book has kept it. I love the strong women in this series and Nina is no exception. Her willingness to accept her mistakes, forgive herself for them and then make an effort to change her actions makes me want to cheer for her. I didn’t really think much of her in the previous books. She seemed kind of small and insignificant. Luminosity gives her her chance to shine, if you don’t mind my pun. The Denards are back to doing some nasty genocidal crap. This time with the “help” of the Galvrarons they are back to their old tricks. So again it’s up to Jane and her ever growing crew to figure out what they have done and how to stop it. I love this series so much!! I hope D.T. Dyllin changes her mind and decides to write more in this world. But this world or not, I will continue to enjoy anything she writes! 5 stars for Luminosity!
