But with her new found fame brings misfortune in the form of an old family curse come to light. For Mina is descended from the Brothers Grimm and has inherited all of their unfinished fairy tale business. Which includes trying to outwit a powerful Story from making her it's next fairytale victim.
To break the fairy tale curse on her family and make these deadly occurrences stop, Mina must finish the tales until the very Grimm end.
Jared's Quest Ever wonder what Jared does when he's not saving Mina Grime's skin from fairy tale baddies?
Mina Grime is a Grimm, bent on sending Jared, and his Fae kind back to their own world to end the curse on her family. Jared is her Fae protector, and an all around pain in the neck. Then the wheels of fate turn on Jared, and he is given his own quest to complete, against his will.
Jared has his hands full as he tries to save a bunch of spellbound boys, capture a beautiful shape-changing Fae, and keep Mina in the dark about it. He’ll need all the help he can get, and will have to recruit one of his old Fae friends to help.
Fairest Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, Who is the Fairest of them all?
In the sequel to UnEnchanted, Mina Grime discovers that all is not fair when it comes to the Fae and their tales, especially when they don’t all play by the rules. Barely surviving the Story’s first fairy tale quest, Mina still has hundreds to go before she can end the curse on her family. But a new player arises to challenge Mina while new rules revamp the game she has just barely begun to understand.
All the while, people are mysteriously disappearing, including Jared, whom Mina must finally determine to be friend or foe. And with the loss of her greatest weapon, Mina must try to outwit a deadly hunter. Can Mina survive the most difficult quest yet while protecting those she loves from falling victim to one of the lethal tales of all? Or will she become a pawn when she strikes a bargain with the Queen of Fae?
Fable All that glitters is not gold.
When something precious is stolen from sixteen-year-old Mina Grime, she will do anything in her power to get it back, even if it means traveling to the dangerous Fae plane and battling one of the strongest fairy-tale villains yet.
However, nothing can prepare Mina for the dangerous obstacles she will face in the Fae world, or the choices she must make when love and life are on the line
Reign Going to the Fae plane against Jared’s orders has cost Mina dearly. Her decision continues to haunt her as a new danger surfaces.
The Grimms are fading.
To save her family’s future, Mina Grime will have to travel to the past with the help of her Fae Godmother and a magic pair of shoes.
She must go to where the Story first began, to the beginning of the dark prince’s reign. But can she finish her quest before her time runs out or will she be trapped in the past forever?
Forever With the Godmother Guild destroyed by Teague's army, Mina finds herself without the guidance of her Fae godmother. Alone and confused, she must lean on her friends for support.
The dark prince threatens their very existence with a show of power on the human plane that has everyone running for their lives.
To save them, Mina must make a deal with the prince to become his prisoner or lose her friends forever.
But is there any hope for Jared and the love they briefly shared, or must beauty destroy the beast she created?

I've read these books as individuals... By August 2023 I've read tge series at least 4-5 times (and I used to read hundreads a year so it's saying a lot 😆). My review was written way back on Amazon in 2016- I bought the Kindle edditions... The first book might seem a bit slow or less interesting story-wise at first (The first time I couldn't read it but came back later on and kicked myself for it 🤣, I guess I was just not in the mood before that)- but keep reading it gets better and better and the action is worth it ;0).
Learn and grow with Mina, a 15 year old (in the beginning of the 1st book) and the main character +Heroin, as she learns new things about herself, her world- or rather worlds, about her family, about growing up (with a twist) and about herself in so many different aspects. The characters in the book and in the series are varied and we always get to know new ones, some even new to Mina or she learns new things about them that makes them more influential in her life (and in the story) and so Mina's circle of people in her life grow each time. This is a unique story- it might seam at first like it will have an obvious story line and a generic one but -NOPE! There are twists and turns, secrets to unfold, action, ups and downs, interesting characters you learn about as the characters learn about themselves. I love these kinds of worlds were our regular known world is entwined with a world of magic and fantasy, were myths and fairies are real and also feel, think and interact with our world...It gives it color, fun, mystery, different kinds of challenges and you get to spend time in this world and wish you were a part of it.
- As for age of the readers: there is nothing to explicit or too violent in detail. I think 14 and up can read and enjoy the books though the older you are the more you'll understand the nuances and the characters' conflicts... I recommend parents to read these books at the same time as their teens (or in advance)...It might even be a great way to interact and bond - by discussing the books and the issues that come up there with the fun fantasy sides as well :0) Enjoy!
This is one of the best series I’ve ever read and listened to!!! When I want a really good well developed plot with great characters, this is one of my top choices to go back to. Even though I know what’s going to happen there are always interesting details I pick up on. Chance Hahn really makes you feel as if you are right there and puts such an interesting spins on familiar tales set in modern times. I won’t give anything away but the twists and turns in this book are awesome !! Then the ending of the story couldn’t be more surprising and perfect. I know I will be reading this over and over again for years to come.
I like fairy tales and I like books that are clean. These are both. Worth buying the box set on kindle. I think all together they were 4.99. Not the best writing ever, needed some better editing. Also, I found a few typos. But, altogether I enjoyed this series. Individually, the books are pretty short but all together they make a fun story.
I could not put the books down until I was completely finished!!! Each book kept me on edge and then I couldn't wait to read the next book and it continued that way until the very last book!!! I just couldn't get enough of this series!! I actually wish there was an epilogue book just for this series!!
These books were am ready read. I thought they were well done, even though some of the later ones need a bit more time with am editor for some simple mistakes. I wish the ending haddent tied up so quickly, I feel like it wasn't explained well enough. I still world recommend the series. It's good.
This whole series is great for all ages! Wonderful story that develops and builds on itself book after book. While each book can stand alone, one must read the entire series to see the whole picture - and it's worth the time. This would make a great series!
This set wasn't available when I came across this series. But I think that owning this series is wonderful! You pay a low price to own 5 books! If you are hesitant to try this series, don't be!! This series is amazing!! You will not want to put the book down till you finish the series.
Really loved it, you can really visualize the characters. I love the Twist on the regular fairy tales I enjoyed the very descriptive word usage that help me really see what was happening in the story
I loved this series. Could not put it down. I loved how creative the writing was in taking well known fairy tales and putting a spin on them that intrigues the mind and leaves you wanting more.
Loved this series, couldn't out it down. I have 4 stars because I wasn't thrilled with how they ended it with the male lead...a little weird. Otherwise an excellent series if you like fantasy and fairy tales.
This series was the first I read from Chanda and I was hooked right away. I just loved the twists and turns and intricate weaving of worlds. The characters are so special and I am so glad I picked up Unenchanted and found a truly talented author!
Okay I did this because I am lazy and Did not want to go through the whole process of finding all the books and reviewing them. I read this series 3 times this summer and as always 11/10 stars. and also comman i read the last 3 books in a day <3
These stories were great. I loved the characters and the twist on the Brothers Grimm story. The connections between the characters were intense and real. I almost couldn't put them down once I started reading. #TheUnratedBookshelf
After I finished the first book I had to buy the whole series.I couldn't put it down. Only gave it 4 stars because I know there are better books out there but I really enjoyed it anyway.
