Fast paced and gut-wrenching, but at the same time it developed an unforgettable love story that I've come to realize is Nicole's signature. Completely in love with the book and the characters! It has the perfect amount of drama, suspense and heat while developing a super cute and entertaining love story. My favorite thing of the book is that it has two strong and independent main characters, that are not afraid to take charge and engage when they feel they or an innocent is threatened. Love the twists and turns in the story. Overall, great read, really hard to put down, a complete emotional roller coaster from start to finish.

While waiting to board the ferry to Rockaway, Chloe notices something shady and basically trades herself for a little girl landing in a hostage situation. When Gabe rushes to his little girl and ex, they both plead him to go and save the lady that sacrificed herself for his daughter.
Survivor
Love, drama, friendship, hardship, and empowerment are a few of the themes that are touched in this book. Totally loved that it develops around tough subjects and forgiveness. Jack and Sofie had a Hollywood style love story, until a tragic event shakes Sofie's life and the only way to cope she found was to leave everything behind, including Jack, her best friend Livvie, her mom and her brothers. Ten years pass and her visits have been farther between and her main focus is to avoid Jack as much as possible. But now Sofie is forced to come back home to take care of her brothers when her mom passed and avoiding Jack is an impossible task. When the monster from her past appears threatening her present and everyone around her, she is forced to come forward and tell everyone the reason for her sudden departure 10 years ago. If you like strong male and female leads, strong friendships and are not afraid of hard life situations, you'll definitely enjoy this book.

Exciting, entertaining and super Sexy! This book kept me on the edge while giving the reader a very cute and sexy love story with a hot, alpha male and a feisty, tough as nails female lead. Piper felt like she lost everything, specially herself, to her ex/serial killer when she became the one that got away. Moving around doesn't work for her anymore, so she decides to settle down a little closer to where everything started, fate getting her right across Logan, ex-marine turned cop. When a series of attacks targeted to women start resembling the attacks she witnessed, everything start feeling too familiar and Logan is determined to find whoever is behind the attacks and the frightened look on Piper.
Honor
Loved it!! Great novella and addition to the First to Fight series. If had to point out something I didn't like, it would be that it was too short. I want more of Scott!! But it was fun, sweet, heartwarming and sexy all at the same time. Great writing and pace, lovable characters and entertaining storyline. Even though the story takes place in Christmas, it's definitely the kind of story that can be read anytime of the year just to get lost in the fun of it. Faith is back for the annual Christmas gathering and circumstances have her under the mistletoe with local hero and hunk Scott Green. What was intended as a diversion made both of the realize they could be so much more to each other if they gave theme the chance. But Scott's ghosts were still too fresh in his memory and he might have let scape the best thing of his life. Now, a year later, he has a chance a redemption, if Faith hears him out.

When Chloe does her friend a favor and goes to check out a location she never thought that she would become a hostage. Chloe can't let a little girl anywhere near this crazed man and sacrifices herself to save her. Taylor and her daughter Emily are grateful that Chloe was there and convinces Gabe an ex marine and Emily's father to save Chloe. Gabe and Chloe have instant connection and will do anything to stay alive. They go thru so much in the little time they are together but the bond can't be broken. I loved Gabe & Chloe together that I couldn't put my kindle down.

Warrior
I liked reading Ben & Olivia's story. There attraction can't be denied anymore and they spend his late night together before Ben deploys. But that night will change their lives. Olivia tries to get ahold of Ben but isn't successful, she has something very important she needs to tell him. Ben is a changed man and when he finally sees Olivia again there reunion is short. When Olivia's life is threaten can Ben be there to protect her? Really good story, love the characters.


Savior
What an amazing story. I love Logan and Piper/Sienna. With trying to get away from the horror of the murders around her school. Piper never thought he could be someone she knows. With wanting to start fresh she heads to Jacksonville and meets Logan and she never thought her past would still haunt her. Logan will do anything to protect her. I liked Logan & Piper together and loved seeing the rest of gang in this series as well. You think it's one person and it's completely someone else.

Honor
This book is my fav in this series. I really enjoyed reading about Scott & Faith. Scott and Faith have more in common then they realized and one forgotten gift leads them to a kiss that neither of them expected. Scott was t ready for any type of relationship and turned Faith away but a year later he is determined to have Faith by his side. I love these characters and this series, once you start reading you can't stop. I love the interaction of all the characters and at times there are parts that will tug at your heartstrings.

A Romantic Suspense With Alpha Marines

By no stretch of the imagination am I a straight up to dance reader. Thankfully these books are far from it. While all these books have HEA's, getting there is hard fought for. Also, there is a common thread that links them all.

I thoroughly enjoyed the rides of each and every book. The ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the deep down soul searching of coming back after hitting rock bottom.

I found all the characters in these books relatable, and the world they lived in very well described. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster, and the suspense part was done very well.

I will definitely read the author's Last To Leave series it she makes it available on Kindle.

All have the same common thread...these guys love their women and will do anything to keep them safe and happy. When they fall in love they fall hard and deep. All the stories in the series will keep you hooked from beginning to end.

I can't recommend this series enough and I can't wait to see what's next for this series. Another 5 star read from Nicole Blanchard!!!

You can read my review for each book if you want. Basically this author has found a way to provide an excellent story filled with action and intrigue with strong yet damaged. . . or touched by the hard sides of life men who are found and loved by strong women. They are put in unique situations that put them to the test. Fast pace and hard loving adventure. Great stories, plots, action from an author with the ability to pull it off well.

This has everything I love in a book and more!! This author continues to blow her readers away with reads that keep you on the edge of your seat while playing you emotions like a violin and once again doesn't disappoint. She couldn't let him take the girl once again her courage overtook her flight or fight instincts. That's what I love about this chick she continues throughout the store to not be that lame chick that lets the guy get all the glory. When all of the secrets come out and the story is told you have dealt with bombs and mis-direction, lies and deception, action and heroics and the lady who saves the big bad hero in more ways than one. And of course lets end it all with another slam dunk happily ever after. Great stuff can't wait til the next book and yes this is a true standalone. LOVED IT!!

Warrior
Up to this point this writers books gave us women who were independent, fiesty, sure footed and strong in their own rights. This time it harder to take because I don't feel that in Olivia. She has a crush on her brothers friend which spans over years and does the one night stand but doesn't share the results. Well not really. There is a lot of emotion in this read but not as strong as an HEA as we are used to from this writer. She twisted us up as she always does and this time the ending wasn't nearly as neat as usual. Here is why I still will come back for more, once again she found a way to still keep me turning the pages to the end and drew out the strong emotions. Mainly because she still had a way of making it personal and emotional, even if my emotions were against the characters. As much as I didn't want to like them I still had an emotional response to them. Way to trip me up. That's why I am on the edge of my seat for the next book from this writer, I want to see how she is going to beat up my emotions in the next book.

Savior
Who does that in a prologue? I mean for real, I couldn't even get comfy and into the book good before I am rocked off my feet and immediately shutting out the world. You'll see. We are shown the mentality, then the action, and oh man the results. There is a twist within a twist as this author is real good to lay the foundation and fill in the blanks and by the time you finish you still reeling from the emotions you have exhausted and the kinship you have developed with her characters, especially when you see old friends. Another masterfully woven, well presented tale of suspense, intrigue, friendship and who knows maybe some love.

Yeah it's a standalone but trust me you want to read them all.

Survivor
This was an amazing read that touched me in more ways than you can imagine. This is a very strong soul searching read that you can’t help but get emotionally involved with. You struggle, cry, cheer, and push for her as she struggles with her past and the repercussions of running from her past. This is a story of healing, redemption and what it means to deal with everyday life. It reminds of that we need people in our lives that will love us no matter what we are dealing with and to help us when we need them. Nicole reaches into our hearts and our lives and brings a very tender subject to our minds that pulls on our heartstrings as well. A well written story that is sensitive and tender and real. An amazingly strong story that reminds us we are all survivors and not victims.

Honor
A beautiful Christmas romance happens between Scott and Faith. The romance starts with Scott being the gentleman and Faith being very unhappy about it. I get why he did and now that he has gotten his head on right will Faith forgive him and give them a chance. A much too short emotional story that is very dear to my heart. I love that in this series we are introduced to vets who have suffered and adjusted (some better than others all understandable under the circumstances) being accepted for who they are.

After reading the first two books in this series, and loving them, I was excited to get a chance to read this book for an honest review. This book, wow… it had me on a wild rush from the beginning. Most books start out simple and having you racing to the climax of the book. But this one started off with a bang; in my opinion. It had you asking why him, why her, and how is this going to end. It was a short and simple read but I was captivated by it and thrilled that they got their HEA. Great job Ms. Blanchard!

Warrior was the first book that I read by Nicole Blanchard. I have a love for the older brother best friend stories so once I read this blurb I was hooked. Ben and Olivia are still my favorite characters throughout this whole series. I’ve been through two pregnancies while my husband was deployed so I felt like I had an instant connection to Olivia. Her strength and determination to move forward in her life and her child’s life just spoke to me. Ben deleting her email’s without reading them pissed me off but at the same time I could understand that his head wasn’t in the right place. I just wish he hadn’t jumped to conclusions on reentering her life. Like I said, these two stole my heart; along with their little boy.

When I saw that Ms. Blanchard was continuing her First to Flight series I had to get the next book and continue reading about these character’s lives. Survivor is about Jack and Sofie, Olivia’s brother and best friend, and their second chance at love. Their story was hinted at in Warrior but I was not prepared for what this whole story held until the very end of the book. The emotions throughout this story: the hurt, anger, and misunderstandings. I get where Sofie was coming from and why she pushed Jack and her family away, but wow. Jack was an amazing man. Stepping up and helping to take care of Sofie’s brother’s when he didn’t have to. Not many guys would do that for their ex. These character’s, along with all of Ms. Blanchard’s character’s deserved their happily ever after. I’m so glad they got it.

I fell in love with the First to Fight series by Nicole Blanchard the first time I read Warrior. Savior was no different. I was so excited to hear that Logan was finally getting his own story. He was always such a caring and concerned friend/cop when it came to Livvie/Ben and Sofie/Jack. I'm glad that he finally got his happily ever after. Savior centers around a psycho serial killer and Piper our heroine, or the one who got away. Piper has been running from her horrible past and just trying to find a place to finally call home. She's given an opportunity to start over when she meets Logan, her next door neighbor. Logan acts a little rough at first but you learn from reading, and from the past stories, that he's just being protective of the people in his life. Logan helps Piper feel again, and in return also find herself.

I absolutely loved this story. There was love, passion, and understanding but it wasn't all hurried and pushed. It just all flowed at the right time. I also loved getting little snippets of the past characters and learning how they all tie into each other (I was curious as to how Anchor tied into this whole series and I loved the answer). I loved the epilogue as well. It made me laugh because it showed just how oblivious guys can be at times, but that never stops us from loving them. Thank you Ms Blanchard for writing such an amazing story and an amazing series. I look forward to reading the final story.

Another great addition to this series. We first "met" Scott in Warrior. In Honor we get to officially meet him. I truly enjoyed this novella. Though Scott and Faith had a quick and uneasy meeting they connected and couldn't stop thinking about each other. A year later they are brought back together and basically start where they left off. These two were perfect for each other. I love how they not only connected on a physical level but an emotional one as well. I'm glad to see they got their HEA. Now I look forward to meeting Ford!

Five Sexy, Military Men & The Feisty Women They Love - You Will Devour Their Stories

First to Fight is the ultimate collection of books. This collection has some of the bravest & sexy military men around with the feisty & independent women that love them. The reader can look forward to experiencing stories that contain realistic story-lines / plots and believable characters. There is suspense, intrigue and loads of romance in every story. Nicole is a superb writer and is able to transport the reader into each story. The reader will feel as if they live in the town and are friends with the hero/heroine. The story telling is such that you understand the feelings and vulnerabilities that the characters are going through. You will go through every range of emotion (laughter/happiness, crying/sadness, etc). The men have a tenacity to be a little bossy / alpha male. The women as able to handle themselves and will fight for their men. Both the men and women have fears and struggles, but together they can overcome their weakness to be stronger. I love that the characters are willing to show their weakness as well as their strengths.

To choose my favorite book is impossible for me. My first book by Nicole was Warrior. Ben's story is an incredible one. A soldier comes home with scars from the tours overseas. While he was away, Ben thought about the girl he left behind, Olivia. This story is about love, second chances, struggles (mental & physical), family and so much more. Warrior is an outstanding book! I was hooked after that. I devoured every book of Nicole Blanchard's that I could get my hands on. Each book was better than the last. I can't say enough about the First To Fight Series, but I know that you will not be disappointed with any of the stories.

Wow, what a ride this was! Each book in the First to Fight series will get your heart pumping and take your breath away! Then when you think you can settle in and relax a bit, it will once again take you by surprise. Ms Blanchard created strong, intriguing and sometimes quirky, characters who felt honest and authentic. I enjoyed their banter and their chemistry was explosive. The stories were all fast paced with some mystery & suspense to keep you engaged. I never got bored while reading them because each book had it's own unique and thrilling story line. Each book can be read as a standalone and will make you feel everything from love to loneliness, laughter to heartbreak, and joy to terror. I highly recommend this exhilarating and sexy series!

So much alpha hotness in one place.
I've read each of the 5 books in the First to Fight series, and have swooned over each of the guys in these stories. Nicole really knows how to write amazing alpha hotness. They are all protective of the ladies who have stolen their harts, but each are all yummy for their own unique reasons.
This box set is the perfect summertime read, you will wan to grab a cold drink to enjoy these stories of 5 former military men and the women who bring them to their knees.

I first read Anchor as a novella in The Summer Fire Anthology, and fell quickly in love with Gabe and Chloe and their amazing chemistry. Ms. Blanchard has re-worked Gabe and Chloe's story and added an element of adventure and suspense. What she didn't change however was the immediate attraction between these two characters. They were drawn teach other despite the stressful situation of being held hostage on a ferry boat.

Gabe is the ultimate alpha male. Being former Navy and a current volunteer with water search and rescue, he has a strong need to rescue and protect people. He has a quiet authority about him and a presence that let's you know that if Gabe is in charge, everything will be ok. Chloe is no shrinking violet. She is strong and selfless, also putting herself in danger to protect others.

I really loved this book. It had a perfect combination of action, suspense and romance. There were a few twists in the story that I did not see coming. I definitely lost some sleep staying up late to keep reading to find out where Chloe and Gabe's adventure was going to take me.
Anchor is a quick fun read with a fantastic HEA.

Ben is a badass Marine getting ready to go back for his next deployment. Oliva is a feisty redhead who just so happens to be Ben’s best friend’s little sister who is finally all grown up. The night before Ben leaves for his latest deployment they finally give into the attraction that has always been there. The results of that night will last a lifetime. When Ben finally returns from deployment will they be able to pick up where they left off? Ben’s sense of honor and duty will always compel him to protect Olivia and his family. Olivia is faced with danger and Ben was not able to protect her. Will this be the final wedge that will drive them apart or will they finally be able to put the ghosts of the past behind them and be happy together?
This is the second book I have read by Nicole Blanchard, and let me tell you that I’m already looking forward to the next book in this series, or any other book she writes. Warrior is book one in the First to Fight series. It is a standalone book with the all-important HEA. Ben and Olivia’s story will evoke so many different emotions from you; laughter, sadness, happiness, longing, suspense, love, and hope for the future. I loved how Ms. Blanchard tacked real-life feelings and events surrounding members of the military and their families. She used just enough military jargon to make you feel like you were interacting with a member of the military without leaving readers confused about t what was being said (and she was even kind enough to provide a “Military Slang Glossary”). She also bravely tackled the subjects of PTSD and physical injuries resulting from deployments with sensitivity and honesty. This story was well written with several different plot twists that I did not see coming. Warrior is definitely not your typical predictable contemporary romance novel.

When Sofie left town 10 years ago, she left her family and Jack with no explanation. She was running, hiding from something. But now she is faced with family responsibilities she cannot ignore. Will she come back and face her family and Jack? Will she be able to keep her secret? When her past collides with her present will Jack forgive her and care enough to save her from her demons? Or can too much time erase those deep seeded feelings?
Jack is the ultimate book boyfriend. He is tough and sexy with a body only an ex-marine who now owns a gym can have. But under his tough exterior lies a tender man who’s sense of loyalty runs deep. He will do anything for those he cares about. I mean, who wouldn’t want a man like that in their life?
Sofie has learned to take care of herself. She is smart and savvy, and works hart to make sure her vulnerable side stays well hidden. She has been hurt in the past and has decided that no one will hurt her that way again. She has built up walls to protect herself.
This book has all the emotions. I laughed, cried, was on the edge of my seat, felt frustrated and sighed more than a few times over Jack. The twists in this book were amazing. There were definitely things I did not see coming.
This is the second book in the First to Fight series, and each book just keeps getting better. Nicole Blanchard has created in this series men who are tough but tender, have a sense of loyalty and are not afraid to show when they care about someone. The women are tough as well. They can take care of themselves, but are so much better when they give their hearts to the men who love them.
I absolutely love this series and cannot wait for Savior, book 3 to come out to hear Logan’s story.

This novella packs quite a punch! It has everything you could want in a quick read. Steamy kisses, embarrassing families, bad decisions, a bit of angst, and incredible make up sexy time!

We met Scott back in Warrior, the first book in the First to Fight series. We only got a glimpse at him and his story through his military association with Ben. In Honor, we get to really know Scott. He is sweet, sexy, a bit brooding at the beginning, but he finally comes around and is not about to let Faith slip through his fingers again.

Faith is great! She is strong and independent. She is not about to let herself get hurt again by Scott. She tries to hide behind an angry facade. That is until she sees a different side of him, and he able to prove to her that the second time around, he isn't the same guy who pushed her away.

Love the instant attraction between these characters. They have a definite chemistry.

Can I just stop a moment to mention the epilogue! It was everything you want in a epilogue! They are finally getting their HEA, everything is all hearts and flowers. Then the second to last paragraph... I'm all blubbering tears, trying to catch my breath! I mean, I totally didn't see that coming at all! (I'm not going to give it away, you will just have to read it for yourself!)

We meet Ford in Honor, and I'm hoping he will be starring in one of Nicole's upcoming novels.
I can't wait for more of these sexy military men!!

Great mini story about two lost souls connecting through bad weather. Chloe hates her job but loves photography but she needs the job, and one of her bosses sent her down to take pictures of land but when she decides to go out its near the time a really bad storm comes in, and get gets to meet one sexy hot male candy that is easy on the eyes but a total a.hole because he kicked the smoking bucket. And their one night leads into some very hot make out to a skinny dipping intense night. You will love this story, cant wait for more.

Warrior-
I will try and not to spoil this for anyone. This was one helluva romance, but with its ups and downs. Ben is a fellow USMC with his job to serve his country but also gave his heart unknowingly to his teenage crush, his best friends little sister Olivia. These two has a connection one is afraid to have because he is a solider. Ben and Livvy will have many struggles they face together or separately, Olivia is a very brave and independent woman and Ben is supportive arrogant lovable jackass. Your emotions will be all over through out this story from love to hear breaking loss and anger. Each page will bring you into the story more and more and wont let you go, aka be ready to stay up all night and not put this down. I cant wait for more especially is Jack and Sofia will have theirs.

Survivor-
Nevercouldputthisdown... it was an awesome book about a love that spanned over a decade with each other absent from one another due to rape and threats. This story is about Olivia's older brother Jack and her best friend Sofie. You do get to catch up with Ben and Oliva ( book #1) and the torment that.Sofia will go.through to.try and block out her biggest fear, seeing the man that hurt her and took away her happiness and future for his sick gains. Jack has always been in love with Sofia and will get hurt when just a few short days after that day she becomes a different person, and she sends him on his way, while she runs from friends and her mother and two younger brothers to keep the evil from.coming to them, until she finds out her mother has died and now Sofia is now the guardian for her brothers. I better stop now before I do give more away, it was just so good to talk about

Savior-
The last single guy from the group of friends and brother's in arms (past books and this all connect together)
Piper is one the run from a killer, he killed others and her twin sister and messed with her head and making her believed it was her ex fiance and convicted him made her run. Now in a little town with very nice people her past will come and hunt (not haunt) her down. Her savior is near neighbor and local detective Logan Blackwell.
Logan felt Sirena (Piper) was running from something and hiding information but he will be determined to get the truth, he just never thought to get it a killer will be leaving bodies around.

Wasn't a bad story but the very first part, we were in the killer's head and what he felt when he killed his first-that we know- victim.
Book 5 Honor will be about the man that Ben saved Scott Green.

Honor-
I've loved each one of these stories in this series including this one. Technically this is a second chance romance. Two people have been broken by different events, surviving a bombing in active service or a tragic car accident, these two will overcome a hardship and work through their troubles to be with each other.

This is a total re-write, and it's bloody brilliant! This storyline is much more in depth and has more action. Gabe is the same alpha male that I still swoon over. I really really loved this book. Well done Nicole, looking forward to the next book in this series.

Where to start? Amazing book, the emotion within this book is fantastic.
An absolute must read, I love the Alpha strong men and this story has a couple. Love how Nicole ties previous characters from past books into this one. Looking forward to the next book in this series. Thank you so much Nicole keep on writing masterpieces.

Such a heart wrenching story.
Nicole you have shown through Sofie that not everyone is a victim and that certain life experiences can make you a stronger person, for that I thank you. It's lovely to see a fighter not a meek scared little girl. Nicole has made this book so captivating and captured the emotions so well. I'm amazed how well Nicole has shown the characters grow and develop through this series. I hope it continues with more from these characters.

This was a 4.5 star read for me.
Such a great story. I loved every single moment of this book. Great characters, great story and great chemistry. Logan is mine though so don't be getting any ideas!

Honor

This was a 4.5 star read for me. Lovely HEA that makes you feel great. The emotion that Nicole pours into her words is amazing. I find myself quite literally in the moment with these great characters.

Anchor Book 1:
I read Warrior first (Book 2), and I remember reading a blurb and meeting Gabe & Chloe and thinking "I wonder what their story is?" and NOW I KNOW! This story was so unexpected and different from anything I've read lately. I like Blanchard's writing style and her feisty heroines. Excited to read more by this author!

Warrior Book 2:
This is a little bit military, but more thriller/mystery. Olivia and Ben have one hot night before he leaves for a year-long tour. Ben comes back with more than physical scars, and they struggle with making a life together. But then someone seems intent on harming Olivia but Olivia was a Kick-butt chick and she deals with everything life throws at her.

Saint Book 3: Need to read

Savior Book 4:
I really like Nicole Blanchard's First to Fight series, and Savior was no exception. I love a good romance, but I like the suspense and added thrill of these books. In Savior, Piper is running from her past and doing a pretty good job of it, until she meets the boy-next-door (literally) who also happens to be a cop. Logan is suspicious of his new neighbor, since his aunt and grandmother hired her to work in their bed and breakfast and then gave her a bungalow to live in. Then women are being attacked in Logan's small town, and he thinks it has something to do with his new neighbor.

This book was great, and I loved the tie-ins from the other novels in this series. It has enough spice and enough intrigue to keep you guessing and reading to the next chapter.

Honor Book 5:
I know this was a novella, but I still couldn't put it down once I started it. I loved Faith and her crazy family and I wanted to crash their Christmas party. I loved how warm and welcoming and accepting they were and it made me crave that. But this year they've invited Scott, a wounded warrior, to their family shindig. Things between Faith and Scott are hot and heavy, but he's just not in a good place due to all the changes he's faced lately. Then we skip forward a year, and Faith and Scott connect again and the kindling ignites into a hot and steamy read. There is a lot of tension between Faith and Scott in this book, and it'll leave you hot and bothered!

If you haven't read the First to Fight Series, I highly recommend them. Plucky heroines, alpha military males, mystery, intrigue, surprise babies...this series has it all!

I loved this book!! Ben and Olivia's story was very intriguing. There start, there second chance, all of their obstacles had the odds stacked against them. Love is a powerful thing. This book made me laugh out loud and cry like a baby, but it was worth it. Nicole Blanchard is an amazing author. I can't wait to read her next book.

Sophie and Jack's story is explosive. Their relationship has a lot of ups and downs. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the guilt. It just eats at Sophie. Jack is loyal to a fault, but doesn't give up. The "trigger" is so real. I have not been in that situation, but it definitely gave me pause. This was a wonderful story by a wonderful author.

This was a great book! The first page grabbed my attention, and had me hooked. I wasn't sure what was going to happen. Piper's ordeal was just heart wrenching. Then to meet Logan, the obnoxious neighbor. He turns out to be just what she needs. Their connection and chemistry is amazing. If you like romance with a mix of who-done-it, then you will like this book.

This is a short and sweet book. Scott gets to tell his story. It's not easy adjusting to civilian life after being in the military. He doesn't expect to meet Faith. The daughter of his dad's good friend. Kissing under the mistletoe is not what anybody had in mind as a last minute Secret Santa gift. The attraction is instant, but the timing is all off. It's sometimes hard to accept gifts that are handed to you. Especially, when you don't feel worthy of those gifts. Scott's adjustment to life after the military is not an easy one. He has many demons to overcome. Faith is his bright spot. Faith the college student that has a rather large, noisy family that lives across the street. She's had her own obstacles to overcome. She sees Scott as a great man. It you like military romances then you will like this. It's a quick read.

Awesome box set!
I love this series by Nicole Blanchard!
It is filled with tough alpha men who fall hard for the women they love.
Anchor-Gabriel doesn't know Chloe and they've never met before, but finding out this woman had put her life in danger to protect his daughter brought Gabe to his knees. He was going to do everything that he could to save her and the other people trapped on the ferry with a madman.
Chloe had no idea how she was going to get everyone to safety until Gabe shows up and it gives her hope to hang on knowing that they would soon be out of this situation.
With emotions running high it is no wonder that Gabe and Chloe's attraction for one another is off the charts, but what does that mean when they get out this very intense and dangerous situation?

Warrior-Ben and Olivia have been fighting their attraction for one another for a couple of years, but now Ben is leaving again on another tour and Olivia doesn't want to fight it or wait to see what happens if anything when he returns. She makes sure that he can't say no to her advances. If all they ever have is a one night stand then she is going to make sure they both have great memories when they walk away.
Ben leaves for his tour with best intentions of trying to keep in touch with Olivia when phone and internet are available to him, but by the time he has service on a regular basis he has been wounded and is in a hospital in Germany dealing with a TBI and PTSD. Coming back home he doesn't feel like he has anything to offer anyone especially Olivia so he makes his choice to avoid her, but when she finds herself in danger he doesn't want to leave her by herself so he moves in to protect her.
Their attraction to each other may have not changed, but getting past the hurt feelings and lack of trust takes time to get past.

Things tragically change one night and Sophie didn't know what to do so she ran. Logan knows immediately that his neighbor has secrets that she's hiding and he aims to find out what they are while she's working for his aunt, but soon neither one of them want to ignore their attraction for one another, all the while someone is targeting young women in town.
Logan sets out to find who is attacking and murdering women in his town, but will he be able to stop the person in time to save Piper.

Honor-Scott has returned home from serving our country overseas physically, mentally and emotionally wounded. He isn't really in the celebrating mood, but his neighbors have invited him over to share in their Christmas celebration. He doesn't want special treatment or to be pitied because he didn't come home whole.
Faith is home for the holidays for Christmas break and sees something in Scott that she finds interesting, but Scott turns her down flat. She swears that she will never allow that to happen again even if it means missing the family Christmas celebration.

I have no words to say how much I enjoyed this story.
From the beginning I was already tense with the events leading up to Chloe and Gabriel's meeting, even if the situation was not ideal. All they faced as hostages was too tense!
Even in the situation they were in, the attraction between them was undeniable, and when they finally decide to give a chance to what they feel, things finally get better for them.

Another great story by Nicole Blanchard.
I loved Logan and Piper. I really enjoyed the romance and suspense that exists in this book, and how Logan and Piper's relationship develops throughout history.
I loved the characters and the story is very well written.
I highly recommend the reading.

Have you ever read a story that made you want to be a part of all the action? This story did it for me. I fell in love with Gabe in the first sentence, no filter just a man who wants to live his life for his daughter and the job he loves working with the coastguard. Author Nicole Blanchard pulls out all the feels. The emotional roller-coaster has you on the edge of your seat. I love the way the plot unfolded and the chemistry between Gabe and his damsel in distress Chloe or maybe he's the one in distress. Hmmm you'll have to read it to find out. Another great book by this author.

Nicole Blanchard rips my heart out again and puts it back together by the time I get to the last period. The chemistry between Ben and Olivia has you feeling the heat through the pages. The suspense has you on a emotional roller-coaster ride you will ever experience in a story. The way the story unfolds has you wanting to jump through the pages to choke some sense into these two to throwing your kindle against the wall with the OMG moments. I highly recommend reading this book.

I've wanted to read this story since meeting Jack and Sophie in Warrior. This was such an action packed , fast paced story that will make it hard to put down. This story has some sensitive topics that may be triggers to some. Author Nicole Blanchard delivers again I love the way she blends in the past story of these two friends with the present in dual pov. The feels are real making you want to cry, laugh and sometimes kill but in the end she brings it all full circle. Great story

You will be hooked from the first line. I hated that I had so many interruptions while reading. This by far is my favorite in this series. I love when characters are relatable and the story flows. Logan Blackwell the cop dealing with his own demons from being a marine gets an unexpected neighbor (Piper/Sienna Davenport) who has demons of her own. This story has so many twist and turns you go from needing a tissue to throwing your kindle against the wall. Great story I highly recommend it.

Christmas is my favorite holiday season and I loved that this novella is set around that time of year. Who would have thought a forgotten Christmas gift would start a connection like no other. Scott and Faith both working through their own individual challenges cannot deny the chemistry between them. I wish their story was longer but you still get your emotions tossed around.
