The Dream Crypt

She was trapped in a dream world by an ancient and powerful vampire, while he fed on her blood at his leisure. Worse, her only chance for escape was likely going to get her killed.

Please do a novel series!

I think this short story was actually very great! For someone whom doesn't typically write paranormal, it was great. Renee has turned out to be a huge favorite on my indie author list, I so would love to see the Onyx Warriors go on and all the things Rylee could possibly end up in lol. You should check this one out, as well as the rest of Renee's books!

Excellent short story about a woman trapped in a dream state by a vampire who is slowly draining her life away. In her dream state, Rylee is doing what she would normally do, go to work every day. She begins to notice that everything is drab and dreary, food doesn't taste right, the air smells stale, and people don't talk. A woman, MIkayla, tells her she is really asleep and being drained by a vampire, and the only way to wake up is to die. If she doesn't die in her dreams and wake herself up, she will die in real life. Can she believe the only person that seems to be acting normal, or is she dreaming this woman?

Even though short stories are not a big favourite of mine this was a very good short story, original and very riveting. A vampire tale however this particular vampire keeps his blood suppliers enslaved in a dream state where they think that they are going on with their everyday lives whilst in fact they are in a dream state and in his crypt. I think this book is very much worth a read.

I love vampire tales and the supernatural in general. Renee doesn't usually write this genre but did extremely well! This short story packed in a good storyline with a debonair vampire. The pressure was focused and to the point. I'd love to see this made into a series with longer books.
