Alright, let’s wrap this up character by character, even though I need a book 4 lol.
Savannah Turner: There is absolutely nothing I like about her. She was a victim, yes, but you let your family play you for a fool, and then you played this back-and-forth game with Paris just to come out feeling like you are on top when in fact, you are not. Your dad is a sick individual; you are blaming Tuesday for being abused, which irks me so bad. Your brother has a mental illness you will not acknowledge, and you replaced Monae's role in the pack just to still be controlled by men. You are a loser, and I wish all the girls would just leave you alone. And how dare you leave Devyn by herself at the funeral knowing she is deaf and needs support.
Paris Davis: There is nothing I like about down to the smallest detail. You are a hot mess who is now trying to turn Savannah into this strong woman, but you are going about it all wrong. What you did to her is wrong, and instead of having her process all this trauma, you want her to ignore it and just focus on you and the baby. What are your future plans, Paris, besides pissing me off? Telling Moe it is not the right time to have a baby and driving her to get an abortion that you hid from your best friend, but as soon as you get Savannah pregnant, we are not going to discuss that being bad timing. You were a thief/criminal then, and you still are now, so what is the difference?
Monae Skye: You are tired, your man is tired, and I am tired of reading about you lol. I need you to grow up and find yourself on your own and not up under a man. You are letting Savannah take over as pack leader when, as a big sister, you need to show her some guidance but, at the same time, do better. Take your ass back to school, and also, if you're going to be with Gunner, stop hounding him, and y'all lay all that shit on the table and plan a real future. Damn near 30, still playing this cat-and-mouse game.
Gunner: You are mad at Monae when you trained her to be available for you and your doggish friends on beck and call. To top it off, she is hiding a secret, and so are you, so man UP! You should have told her you cannot have kids so she could decide for herself, and at the same time, if she was honest, you would know you can have kids. You are both dramatic, a handful, and need to grow up. You are not one of my favorite characters, but I do like you better than Paris.
Nevaeh Skye: I do not know how I feel about you yet, but you might be the only sane one out of all your sisters. You should know better than to stay in a house full of niggas that have no real loyalty to you, and if you return there, you are a fool. I do hope you forgive Junie Boy for some reason, but I do know he is going to take you through it a bit more. Now you being pregnant by him and trying to be all shocked and scared is not it. You continuously had unprotected sex with that man.
Junie Boy: I love how funny you are and how you are slowly maturing throughout these books. Now you really should have stayed home instead of going to South Carolina, but it is too late now. I hope we see you develop into really having your own and having love, but do not dog Nevaeh too much now.
Tuesday Carter: I do not get enough of you, smh. I hope you never forgive Savannah, and you and Jason can truly find happiness. I hope all who did you wrong get their karma too.
Jason Turner: You need HELP!!!! and you cannot just rely on Tuesday to keep you stable. Glad you whooped your daddy's ass, though, and fuck your momma!
Trudence Parker: Stacey or no Stacey, you needed someone to come into your life and release some of that anger and tension. I do hope you leave the investigation into the Freeman/Turner’s alone, but also, Stacey did not have to tell you he had kids. He just met you, and you have constantly given him a hard time, but I do want to know what will happen with you and Raphael.
Raphael Davis/Young Loso: So many questions, but time will tell, hopefully.
Stacey Freeman: You know what? I like Stacey. He may be a Freeman, but it was not by choice, and I love how he does not play games with women. Monae was a simple fuck, no intimacy, but Trudence is a woman he wants and is willing to understand and be gentle and direct with. He understands her more than she knows. I do not blame Stacey for not telling Trudence he has kids. They just met, and every interaction is negative between the two. Now he should have made sure she left after sex, though.
Devyn Miller: Baby, leave that man behind and leave your past life behind. You were in a better place before Demarco, and you do not need him. Now if you need closure from Jamir, I understand, but neither man is for you, and Demarco needs to be in jail.
Demarco Carter: You are a shitty man! You let so many devastating things happen to Tuesday, and now you think you are standing up for Devyn when you are not. You need therapy and to be your own man, which you are far from. You make me sick. You did all that to Tuesday and have nothing to show for it, and now Devyn and you are out here beating a man to a pulp because you are making up scenarios in your head. You are unstable like the rest, but what you did in front of those kids cannot be taken back. Creating trauma for them when you did not have to is sad, especially with your past.
Tucker Freeman: I cannot wait to see how the Skye sisters give you a run for your money, especially one sister in particular.
Maxine Turner: I do not like you. The end.
Megan Freeman: I knew there was something about you I liked. I hope we read more about you.

Ok
The whole series was just ok with me. It's starting to drag on way too long and way too many characters to keep up with. I doubt if I read the next one. There's not one character in the whole series that I like it relate too. Everyone is in everyone's business. That whole thing with moe, gunner, Paris and the rest of the dudes is too much. Neveah sisters r too much, too over the top. The whole thing with the turners has become annoying, can't stand Savannah. Then the journalist and her obsession with the freemans and the turners is crazy. I think if there wasn't so many characters and story lines, and all those flash backs I could be ok with the book. This story keeps going on and on with nothing being resolved. Everybody living together like rats. I don't think I ever read a book where I didn't like the characters. I'm over has in and tuesday, devyn and demarco. I wish the book could have kept on track like it was in the beginning with Savannah and Terrence fake relationship.

Kind of hoping for an end to the series
Good story but, again, when does the series officially end? I most enjoyed Carter boys and Carter Girls' series and i'm curious to know what happens next. But, i'm getting tired of all the other stories. I'm sure they will all tie in together at some point and that is why i keep reading but i'm ready for the finale.

Let me just say this author is on a roll with her writing and the characters. The Turners, Freeman's, and Skye sisters are something else. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book, especially with Paris and Loso. Tru and Stacey I can see if blooming into the story that Savannah was telling her about. Great read

4.5 really....left too many unanswered situations dragging on. If a few of the relationships truly ended or showed some closure I’d give it more. Delirious truly made me delirious. This is my Love & Hip Hop and Real House Wives. So many new characters, some adding drama or clarity while others brought nothing. Some situations showed growth or closure.
Paris and Savannah are a trip, yet I’m glad he is stepping up. That funeral science!!! Gunner has to grow up...Moe choose to put her life on hold him and the crew, stupid, for 11 years and no growth. What he think was going to happen?? Trudence and Stacey will be nice if she allows him in. She gotta let Loso be...cause he truly playing games. Jason & Tuesday just ... Jason & Tuesday. The road trip when the men realized their connects was hilarious to me!! Megan Freeman must put on for her fam cause how she pull Snow?? So many questions.

Spoiler Alert
The book was filled with the usual drama but I don't like how my FAVORITE character was portrayed. Junie has always showed some sense of morale and self discipline, so I wasn't feeling his slip up. I also didn't like the attempt to make Ghost warmer after she's gotten on everybody's nerves. Finally I hope someone comes along and puts these Skye sisters in their place. I definitely wasn't feeling the break in at the end. I'm gonna need some of Junie's sisters to come through and rectify that ASAP!!!

That Turdence is an unhappy women who loves to point finger. I can't stand a bitter women. And Paris I believed all along wanted a girl like Mo. He was jealous of Gunner and her relationship ship and did what he could to be in the mist of it. Mo should always consult her man and not his damn friends.

I liked this book the least out of the 3. I didn’t care for many of the perspectives.
Savannah: I actually somewhat like her character when she isn’t self serving, which is partially due to her upbringing and maybe her feeling like she’s always had to do what others wanted her to do. I don’t like that she blames Tuesday for the relationship between her and her dad but I think Desiree does a good job of showing us that she is figuring out how to process it all. It definitely was frustrating that she abandoned Devyn at the funeral, playing into her self-serving characteristics. If she has a role in the next books I’d like to see some growth for her in that aspect.
Moe: She really got on my nerves the last book and I’m glad her and Gunner took a backseat in this book. I needed a break from them.
Tuesday: I’ve come to love Tuesday. And I hope she gets her due justice
Nevaeh: I only started this series to read Skye Sisters but I am so annoyed with Nevaeh and her damn sisters. She’s so naive it’s unbelievable. It’s so hard for me to root for her and Junie. Ever since he refused to wear condoms it left a bad taste in my mouth about him. But they have her moments like him doing her hair was too cute.
Junie: Again, very hard for me to overlook the condom thing. And cheating on Nevaeh was trifling as well. What I can say I enjoy about Junie is his duality. Granger does a great job of bringing complexity to all of these characters and it’s easy to understand their perspectives and how their environment shapes them.
Trudence: Felt her POV was unnecessary at first even in the last book. I still kind of do but I did enjoy her last chapter. She deserves good sex.
Demarco + Devyn: I found their relationship to be the one I wish was explored a bit more. Devyn is an undeniable likeable character to me. And I kind of wish she had more ties to the bunch other than Demarco otherwise she’s mainly irrelevant to the story. Demarco disappointed me at the end.
All in all, this ties up the storylines of who all was initially introduced in a great way but again not my favorite. I think because it felt like a closing to storylines and introduction to new ones, I wasn’t as invested. It took me a bit longer to read.

A few secrets are revealed and listen!!!! The Turners, Carters, Freemans and Skye family ain’t (s)hit! These characters lack communication but good at being disloyal lol I can’t make this up. Devyn and Tuesday are the only crazy cool ppl lol all the male characters are funny and stupid. Old flashbacks pop up and other flings pop up. I remember the author stating these books won’t be like the Carter boys and girls and I have to disagree lol this just a mix of ghetto and wealthy folks coming together and got even more secrets than the Hollywood Carters. When I saw Andrew pop up I got so excited!! Idc I got a special bond with the beginning characters lol but overall I enjoyed the book and getting ready to dive in the next book

I have been very overwhelmed lately, but this novel is been my go to for release!!! I have never laughed so hard while reading a book before in my life!!! I had people coming to my door asking me what was so funny!!! Can you believe that, your neighbors come over to see why you are laughing!!! I keep to myself and live in a house with a yard around the place, like someone in the book said , "I don't care, laugh/ talk about me if you want to, I really don't care". That cracks me up, every time I think about it. You must read this series....When is the next one????

Deliriously funny!
First of all I have to say that Ms Desiree crept into my top 5 authors like a thief in the night wayyyyy back with the ATL series!!! Now on to this book, ayyeee I found myself so into this book that at 2:45 am on a Saturday morning I was laughing and wiping tears out my eyes... that damn Junie Boy made this book the truth to me and I cannot wait to get started on the Skye Sisters....like fr dead have to be up in 6.5 hours and still about to read “a few chapters...”

What is really going on!
Ever start reading 📚 that ends up being a never ending series and you can't get out of you wanted to? That's how I am about Desiree's books. I can't stop!
Delirious has some of the recent suspects and we are introduced to some new ones, namely the Skye sisters. I must say that there are scenes in this book that had me lol I'm the train in minutes and crying the next.
This is jaw , entertainment at its best. I eagerly await the next episode.

This book was just ok. The other 2 were better. I skipped through most of the unnecessary, wordy parts. The characters I initially invested in got lost. They also turned into other people without a lead in or build up. The attempt to string everyone together was interesting but it got almost predictable. 3rd book lost its spark a little. I hope the last one brings us back to the original, more focused writing.

I usually enjoy Desiree’s books . But idk this series is blah and it’s just not doing it for me . Too many characters that aren’t likable , the whole twist with Tuesday and Jason love is one thing but the scene with them being turned on by the news talking about her relationship with his father was just sick . No shade but I feel like Desiree has lost the plot a little with this one . Still will read the next book because of the cliff hanger but I’m not loving her books like I once was .

Loved the story. Was constantly LOL. Love Devyn's personality. I really enjoy when the girls, guys and couples get together. That road trip was awesome and glad Savannah found her voice. Was disappointed in a few but I know they will redeem themselves. Loving the Skye sisters. Can't wait til your next project, whatever you decide to put out.

Desiree has easily become one of my favorite authors to read her work. From the beautiful & creative covers to the hidden secrets you might just miss if your not careful.lol I love that I can depend on her to bring a story filled with twists and turns and still make me think. This book is not well written. I am only continuing the series because it's part of my book club. I do not understand the need for all of the characters. Each book, new people are introduced and it's just an extra viewpoint that is not necessary. The grammatical errors are distracting. Book has useless dialogue and once again, the reader is left with nothing resolved.

Bewitched
I really love this story and glad Junie finally fell in love even though he messed up. I hope Nay can forgive him because I think the sister have him a special potion. Moe done ripped Gunner's heart out. Paris and Savannah are strong and I love their love. I don't have to much more to say because I need answers from this book. So on to the next.

Queen of storytelling!
I am in awe of how this author can draw me in with her storytelling. Every chapter could stand alone as a book. Junie Boy and Tuesday are the most hilarious people on paper ever. I really shouldn’t like Maxine because of her protecting Frank’s image, but man do I like her style!

This book is wild. I thought the main Carter boys were wild! I am glad we got some backstory to Tuesday's story...Shiloh, Demarco, and Amari's brothers ain't sh*t! No wonder she's how she is and I wouldn't mess with them either! Those skye sisters are a mess. And why these folks keep messing with obviously toxic and unstable people...lol

Good Read
It took forever for me to read this book. Really not a fan of those sisters but enjoyed everything else about the book. Looking forward to the next installment with prayers of them girls not playing a major role.

Who is the real hittas
I loved this book it kept me on the edge. That ending tho omg u did that. Yes I need to get alot of answers to really feel complete. Great book to cuddle in a quite corner with. Man them sisters is the truth.
