Keri Lake continues to keep me at the edge of my seat with this third installment. The story is utterly addictive and, once again, filled with suspense and action. It’s dark, gritty, sexy, entertaining and I’ve read it in one sitting.
“Tell me, Dylan. How does it make you feel knowing that I kill men, viciously and violently, but I haven’t killed you?”
This third episode, like its predecessor, picks up right where the last one ends. Dylan and Ripley’s unconventional relationship continues. Both of them have changed since they have met. Dylan knows she should stay away from Ripple since he’s a killer and Rip loves testing her at every turn. As much as he wants to, Ripley can’t stay away from Dylan. Not anymore, not when she gets under his skin like no other.
“A woman like that is dangerous for a man like me, but letting her go is no longer an option. I can’t decide if she’s a nightmare or a dream. All I know is that I want more of it. More of her.
We find out more information about the two main characters’ pasts in this installment. Both Dylan and Ripley are f@cked-up in an intriguing kind of way and both of their portrayals are fantastically written. Dylan is a smart, rebellious heroine I truly liked. As for Ripple…holy hotness…the man is dangerous and vabsolutely captivating.
I loved this third installment. Everything is so well done and engaging. The story-line is entertaining, the characters are enthralling and the writing is simply fabulous. The relationship between the two main characters is wonderfully done. Their connection is raw and powerful. Once again, the sex scenes between these two are sexy as f@ck.
“When he rocks into me, all I can do is feel. Feel everything. His hands on my hips that keep me in place. His eyes that hold me captive. His dick that pumps in and out of me so good, I want to cry. I feel the full weight of Ripley pressing into me, pushing me to the edge. I want to stay in this place forever.”
All in all, this third installment is simply awesome - gripping, with a well-developed plot and engaging characters. If you love dark and twisted reads, you don’t want to miss this series. Trust me on this!

He’s not my savior. He’s an angel with black wings. A dealer of death. My ruin.
A woman like that is dangerous for a man like me, but letting her go is no longer an option.
We’re fucked up— two wrongs that somehow make a right.

“Everything he does is a confusing dance between dominance and reverence. A wolf cloaked in soft lamb’s wool.”
“How’s that feel, Bandit? Huh?” My fingers dig into her shins slung over my shoulders, my willpower on the verge of cracking as I bury myself deep, so fucking deep she’s got my head spinning. “This what you wanted?”

“Her broken pieces are hidden behind a fragile mask of normalcy that could crack at any moment.”

"Deal's not over yet."

"Had enough yet, Bandit?"Ripple Effect: Episode 3 picks up directly after Ripple Effect: Episode 2. Dylan and Ripley find themselves thrown together and the hypnotic blend of their physical connection only spurs an emotional one to continue to bloom and eventually explode!
"As long as you're mine, nothing touches you."

And as much as I fear that my demons will ultimately tear her apart, the disturbing reality is, they’d probably get drunk with hers and have a fucking orgy together.
“This is what fascinates me about you. Doesn’t matter that you’re tied to a bed in a basement, facing all variety of gruesome outcomes, you never lose that spitfire attitude.”
Merciless and merciful. Wild and broken. He’s a raging fire, with the inclination to destroy whatever gets in his path, and I’m nothing but a small scrap of kindling. Yet the way he stares at me with such reverence, makes me feel like I’m the one holding the match.

Everything he does is a confusing dance between dominance and reverence. A wolf cloaked in soft lamb’s wool. ~Dylan
There is no God here.
He’s not my savior.
He’s an angel with black wings.
A dealer of death.
My ruin. ~Dylan

“I want to watch you come.”
“Why?”
“Because that’s your truth and I need to see your face when you succumb to it. When you shatter for me. ~Ripley

I wish he didn’t have this effect on me. I wish his mouth and hands didn’t carry whatever poison he spreads on my skin that makes me so pliant, bending, always bending to his will. The fight is what he craves, but he makes it impossible when his mouth feels like heaven and his touch is salvation. ~Dylan
I didn’t intend to keep her, but I also didn’t intend for her to penetrate the walls I’ve constructed to avoid all this shit, because men like me don’t trust enough to love. My heart’s only function is to keep me alive, and I don’t even trust the bastard to do that for long.
For years I’ve been numb. Impenetrable.
Dylan’s somehow etched herself deep beneath my skin, though, so rather than fight it, I’ll do everything in my power to protect her. ~Ripley

Beautiful pieces of forever that have no stability to last.
I got your six, Bandit.I felt like Rip and Dylan were hanging out more together in this one and I enjoyed their dynamic. They’re opening up a bit more to each other and trying to overcome their inclination toward solidarity. A good portion of their time together was the sexy kind and it was super hot!
I wish he didn't have this effect on me. I wish his mouth and hands didn't carry whatever poison he spreads on my skin that makes me so pliant, bending, always bending to his will. The ending of this one, just like the ending of the previous 2, totally left me hanging! I cannot wait for the conclusion to Rip and Dylan’s story.
