The gorilla and the succubus!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🤎💜❤️
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌍🌏
Character development: 😠☺️😋🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Solo Narration

The Hero: Bane - he is an alpha gorilla shifter and one of the immortal outcasts. They are a group of former soldiers who had been experimented on by the government and later determined to be not perfect enough for immortal ops and slated for termination. Many of them escaped and are in hiding, so they are considered outcasts.

The heroine: Galiena - she is a petite succubus and she has been taken captive by an evil man named Hellmuth who had been drugging and torturing her with experiments, wanting her to give in to him.

The Story: Bane promised his friend Weston and his mate Paisley that he would look for her friend Gale who was taken from the brothel where she worked. So Bane along with the two psychic old men Billy and Gus take off to find her. Those two are trouble magnates and get into all sorts of funny situations, but always seem to end up exactly where they need to be. They end up in a sex club where Gale also ends up after escaping from Hellmuth.

Hellmuth makes a good villain, he is turning into a monster and trying everything he can think of to stop the progression. He thinks a succubus can help him but he does experimentation on all kinds of supernatural creatures. He is desperate for the power of the succubus and needs Gale for that, so her being mated to Bane is a wrench in his plans.

This book was told from Bane’s point of view and was narrated via solo narration by D.C. Cole who does a fine job. He doesn’t have a deep voice which I would expect Bane to have but he is a good narrator. This was a longer book than the first two books in this series.

This book was laugh out loud funny. I really enjoyed this read in a different way than the others. The other books were dangerous and scary but the comic relief 😅 in this book was awesome 🤩!!
A succubus and a gorilla shifter is awesome sauce. This book made me happy because Bane aka Monkey Boy needed Gailenia. A succubus that becomes all freaking powerful with other supernatural powers sheesh.

I don’t know how to explain my feeling about this book but it was soo worth the wait. Also, Wild Bill and Gus are the best add-ons in any book.

I also was okay with the new narrator D.C. Cole even though I am still dangerously in love with Mason MF Lloyd.

Bane and Galiena"Gale"

I initially thought this will be boring but good thing I was proven wrong with Bill and Gus being in the story, Ha!!! 😉😂 This was the funniest in the whole Immortal Universe Ops and one of my favorite too 😊

Bane was the strongest in the Outcasts group while Galiena was altered during her captivity making her stronger and genetically different.

Their story is funny, action-packed, intense and HOT 😍
I liked that it was both Bane and Galiena who fought one of the main villain
Galiena was not just a damsel in distress that needs saving..

The stories are now getting more and more interesting 😲🤗
Can't wait for more 😉

In my personal opinion this HAS to be the best book of the series so far. It can be read as a stand alone, but I truly recommend that you read this book in series order, starting with the very first book Immortal Ops. Believe me you will not be sorry.

This is Bane and Galiena's (Gale's) story and what a story it is!! Mandy M Roth has managed AGAIN to out do herself with this book. It is packed full with action and humour from the very first page. Not only do we meet this couple but Mandy M Roth has brought back some old favourite characters from books past. This is one book NOT to be missed!

Bane is an alpha wereGorilla and since the gov't testing and becoming a paranormal shifter he has had a very tough struggle with keeping his shifter side under control. Gale is a natural born paranormal, a Succubus (a being who needs to live off of either the act of, or the energy from sex).

Bane is waiting for a contact to turn up but the hour is now getting late and is just about to give up any hope the person might turn up he starts to get ready to leave, when all of a sudden a car comes charging towards him. The couple who get out of the car are the last two people on Earth he expected or even wanted to show up. Wild Bill and silent Gus both exit the car claiming to be there to help Bane find his destined mate and to get him all 'Sexed Up'.
Gale on the other hand has just escaped from the clutches of the mad man Helmuth, who when she used to work at a paranormal sex club in Seattle with Jinx as her boss (from Administrative Control) developed an unhealthy interest in her to the point of kidnapping her and holding her captive. And with Gale not giving into his demands, Helmuth gets his mad scientist Krauss to inject her with something. No longer able to control or recognize her darkness as she calls her succubus side, she is on the run from herself and her enemies, she makes her way to a paranormal sex club to feed her succubus side as its now more powerful and constantly hungry.
I'm not going to go In to any more of the story as I WILL end up giving away spoilers and you definitely don't want that with this book.

As I said before this book is jam packed full with action, now if you love your PNR which keeps you at the edge of your seat with all the excitement, a pig headed alpha male, strong but stubborn headstrong heroine, fantastic fight scenes, sexual encounters, and laugh aloud moments (and believe me there's plenty to laughable moments with this book) then this book is for you. Bill and Gus played just a major part of this story as the two main characters and boy did these two make me laugh so hard that my sides were splitting.

It's a damn shame I have to give this book five stars , it is worthy of so many more. This is a NEED TO read book this year if you don't then your really missing out.

I love the Whole Immortal OPS world that Mandy M Roth writes and cant wait for more books in this series. With Isolated Maneuver, this is a spin off from the Immortal Ops series and I am just in love with this book and am now dying for more in this series –it is just as good as the books in the original Immortal Ops world.
Immortal Outcast, Bane Antonov is a Gorilla Shifter and he is tasked with locating the best friend of one of his fellow Outcast’s mates. Bane doesn’t doubt that this woman , Gale , is still alive but others doubt this. Then Bane gets some help from Gus and Wild Bill, an unlikely pair who come to offer their help in finding Galiena (Gale) Korsakov, super natural, succubus. Bane will have to fight for control in finding her with the others around.
Galiena has got the wrong type of attention from the wrong immortals and they ended up being held captive by a man who wants her so bad that he is willing to keep her against her will. Gale has to fend off his advances while they use her as some sort of lab experiment. Finally she got free yet she tries to find her way out of this mad man’s lair , she stumbles across a man who calls to her that she wants to wrap herself up in him.
When Gale and Bane come together, its literally electric. There are many twists and turns in their wild ride, so I definitely recommend this book. If you like the OPS series and you love PNR, then this is the book/series for you.

My rating: 4.5 stars ****

I am reading these books in series order and finding it enjoyable but at the same time frustrating in certain aspects.
Another short but entertaining read.
Bill and Gus seem to be becoming huge linchpins in this series.
They turn up and lead Bane to his mate Galiena. She is the missing friend of Paisley from an earlier book.
I really hoped Helmuth was finally going to get his but sadly that didn’t happen.
My big problem with these shorter books is the lack of communication and actual getting to know one another between the main H’s.
Bane knows very little about Galiena, only what he learnt from Paisley.
Galiena is told about Banes background from Bill.
Though I liked them both and how they balanced each other, this lack of information about characters is not quite how I want to read my stories.
Loved that Lance is popping in and hope to get to his story soon, as he was in the very first book I read years ago.
This author has kindly put these books into Kindle Unlimited. Happily I am now able to read those I do not own this way, rather than wait for my library to reopen.

Reviewed at Shifter Haven

Isolated Maneuver is the third title in the Immortal Outcasts series, part of the connecting series that make up the Immortal Ops World. Bane is another of the men who consider themselves outcasts for they had been experimented on more than the others with unique and dangerous at times results. I could not help but feel for Bane as he tries to control his animal side, and in some ways has come to fear allowing himself to shift when he needs to not knowing how his gorilla will react in any situation. His life is about to change as he meets his mate… and his control will be tested in ways he’s not certain he can control.

The threads that are woven within the connecting Immortal Ops World are very evident in Isolated Maneuver as we meet up with Galiena (Gale) who once worked at Jinx’s brothel in Administrative Control. With Jinx off with her mate, the club has changed hands and the one man who makes Galiena’s skin crawl has managed to kidnap her for his own and complete some additional experiments on this natural-born succubus… for a time before she escapes. Now with her inner self changed, Galiena is seeking out even more sexual energy than ever before and she’s about to run into the one man who can handle every single demand his mate makes… but first, they have to survive.

We meet up once again with two of my favorite, if not craziest secondary characters in this series – Wild Bill and Gus, the silent one who mind speaks when necessary. These two have escaped from headquarters on a mission to get Bane together with his mate – who he does not believe exists. And their part in this story is beyond hilarious. I love these two so much.

The action is fast-paced, the villain vile as possible, and the steaminess is off the charts with Bane and Galiena as they fight the bad guys, trade banter and sass with each other, and fill up the empty parts of each other. I enjoyed this couple so much. Each strong and stubborn in their own right together they are an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. I loved that Galiena was able to calm Bane’s beast on one level and unleash his control on another. Another amazing addition to this world.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

This is the third in the Immortal Outcasts series. It was a blockbuster winner from One of my favorite authors and the only PNR author I read. She is just THAT GREAT!

The story opens with Bane Antonov waiting impatiently in an empty parking lot for his contact who is supposed to have information on a missing succubus, Galiena. Galiena is best friends with Paisley who we met in B2 of the series. Most think Galiena is dead. Bane doesn't. All of a sudden a car comes speeding directly at him, stopping jut in time. Out jumps our old wonderful friends and comedy relief, Wild Bill and Gus. Gus doesn't talk, but he can speak directly into the minds of many of the supernaturals, including Bane. He tells him which way to drive and that he has to get 'sexed up' by his mate. Bane did not know that he had a mate.

This is the start of a wonderful adventure with some scary dudes. Evil Helmuth and crazy mad scientist Krauss among others. There are some surprises, some good and some not so good, so you better get your copy, now. After some terrifying times, bane and Galiena finally get their HEA as Casey Black flies in to pick up the wandering duo: Bill and Gus. ENJOY ... I know I did and look forward to the next adventure.
I voluntarily read an advance copy. The opinions are my own!

One of my favorites so far. This time Bane is at the forefront. Bill and Gus - Outcast Cupids, it seems - arrive to tell Bane they're there to help him find his destined mate, and get him "sexed up". These two are an absolute hoot. Watching these Alphas struggle with watching over them, and NOT eating them is hysterical!

Gale (Paisley's missing friend) was apparently captured by Helmuth, and has recently escaped ... thanks to a terrifying new power she's managed to acquire from the testing they've done on her. She can melt anyone she touches. So, she's weak, and running ... and stumbles on a paranormal sex club ... where Bill and Gus have lead Bane to (after stealing his car snort.

Bane has his own hang ups with his Outcast past. He struggles for control constantly, and he lives with the guilt of killing a woman during sex when he lost control. So, it's probably a good thing Gale is a natural succubus, who knows what she needs from him when she realizes he's immune to whatever power she's developed.

We find out more about what Helmuth is, and just how twisted the man is. Bill and Gus turn out to be pretty awesome sidekicks when the shit hits the fan.

Another fun one.

I really enjoy paranormal stories because they can become anything, and this one surprised me at every corner. I love the depth and intelligence that this story exudes. It stole my heart with its wonder and creativity, and I enjoy every second of it playful and all-consuming heat. This journey played out in a a delightful entertaining and wonderfully challenging way with its fun and amazing characters. I know I would enjoy the rest of this series from this one book alone. It left me wanting more, and I can't wait to read more by this wonderfully talented author!!

I really enjoyed the narration. It brought to characters to life and made this story shine bright. It is so much fun to listen to the narrator's interpretation of the characters, and they never failed to touch my heart. This is a fun and intriguing journey, and the performance made it that much better and memorable!

Bane of Her Life

Another Psi Ops/Immortal Outcasts book.
Bane is a were-gorilla and supposedly looking after Bill and Gus (two rather weird outcasts connected psychically) when they run out on him, and steal his SUV and weapon. He follows them to. Sex club. Quite useful really. After all the insane duo promised to get him sexed up and find his mate - which he doesn’t have.
At the club is missing succubus Galiena, stolen after the closure of Jinx’s club, who is skinny, starving for food and fuel, having escaped the clutches of Helmuth.
Bill and Gus are the hi-light of the Outcasts series, offering lots of humour as they often outwit so-called invincible weres. Of course, we have another pair who seem to be fared, so you get erotica plus romance, but, we also get further into the story of Thor/Lance and the Krauss experiments on outcasts.

Gargoyles are real?

Isolated Maneuver is an immortal outcast book, Bane is a weregorrilla an outcast according to the government that made him what he is. Bane keeps himself isolated from people for the most part not trusting himself around others. He had been keeping an eye out for a succubus that went missing a couple of months ago as favor to one of his brothers mates.
Galiena has been locked in a bedroom in one of Helmuth's residences for longer than she cares to admit. As a succubus she needs sex to survive but she will never do the deed with an evil man such as Helmuth. She needs to escape before it's to late.
This book is a mix of high octane and humor as Wild Bill and Gus show up in Seattle to help Bane find his mate.

This is the third book in the Immortal Outcasts Series, a Paranormal Shifter Military Special Ops Romance. I think it's my favorite story in the Series. Bane and Galiena's story is fast-paced, intriguing, action packed, funny, and steamy! Bane is an alpha gorilla shifter and former Immortal Operative. Galiena, a succubus, is the Paisley's best friend missing, and Bane is at her searching. They are both strong, destined to be mates. They share an instant attraction, and an undeniable and strong chemistry. All characters are great. Bill and Gus are hilarious! DC Cole did an amazing and outstanding job with the narration. All characters are easy to distinguish. Bravo! I enjoyed my listening and totally recommend this book and Series.

I just love Ms. Roth's writing there is so much emotion and feeling that the story just grabs you. Reading of Bill's antics along with silent Gus just makes you laugh out loud as they help bring Bane a weregorilla and Galiena a hybrid succubus together. They need each other and seeing Thor formerly known as Lance being a good guy but not remembering his life as lance was interesting. There are so many story embers within the Immortal Ops world and it offshoots that just make you fall in love with the immortal bad boy alphas with their hearts of gold.

I highly recommend this page turning series to all paranormal romance lovers out there. I voluntarily read an advance copy.

Complete enjoyment!

Where in the world does Mandy Roth get her ideas for her characters, weregorillas? Really? Isolated Maneuver features one as its hero, a succubus named Galieana, vampire/gargoyle called Thor and a villain who is a mix of all sorts of supernaturals, but predominately gargoyle. Ms. Roth is a queen at world-building and character development, this novel is no exception. I chuckled my way through page after page, wondering what outlandish thing was about to be said or done next. Thoroughly entertaining!

I have read each one in the order recommended and I love them. Especially Bill and Gus! They totally crack me up. The stories intertwine and are all sufficiently diverse to keep me entertained. It's cost a small fortune to work my way through and I'm reading at every opportunity and I do mean EVERY opportunity. Mandy must have had a blast writing these!! Fantastic!! Bane and Galiena

Babe a gorilla shifter is waiting on a contact person to arrive. He's surprised when his friends crazy humans show up Bill and Gus. They inform he needs to go to this club and find his mate. He doesn't believe them so when he stops for gas they steal his car and wallet. He finds them at a club and while inside he meets a woman. Can Bane find a HEA with Galiena? I highly recommend this book and series.

This is about Paisley’s missing best friend Gale and what happened to her. Bane has the lead on searching for her, but unfortunately Bill and Gus are ‘helping’ him. Love the ending with the girls and Bill & Gus are always delightful.

Footnote: 1) I have an online game character named Galena.

Fave scenes: Gus getting into Bane’s SUV, Bane rescuing Gale from the SUV and Gale bossing around Gus.

I loved Bane and Gayle's story. A weregorilla and Succubus who is taken by Helmuth and his men.

Bane was all the alpha you want and need, Gayle was formidable in her own right. It had a brilliant balance of sass, story and hot alpha-males.

Gus and Bill were fantastic and the addition of Mona the mannequin had me bursting with laughter. I am really looking forward to Lance breaking free of the clutches of the Corporation

Bill and Guss are the best, and so far, they have been like little cupids with the ability to make people love them as well as be hilarious in these books.
To the main characters, Bane and Gail. Love them and love how alphas are knocked off their feet by love.
The overall war against evil continues, and they fight to survive while accepting who they are and what they have been made into to allow them to fully fall in love

The I-Ops world just gets better and better. I love Bill and Gus. They are so much fun and drive the guys nuts. Bain was so much alpha it wasn't funny but Galiena really rounded him out. They were a perfect mated pair. Can't wait for next book.

A weregorilla and a succubus meet...

Military-based, this paranormal story is packed with conspiracies and insta-love. Lots of action throughout the book, and just as much hot moments between Bane and Galiena. There's also humor and another layer added to the continuing saga in the Immortal Ops world.

You won't want to miss this one.

Love, lust, and rocket launchers are only a few ingredients to this action-packed adventure that will keep you turning the page as Bane and Galiana fight the bad guys, babysit some of the good, if slightly wacky humans, while igniting a passion that will certainly change them for all time.

Bill and Gus are too funny whenever they appear. The whole other half being a succubus is getting boring personally as this is the 3rd in I think a row she's used a succubus. Can't wait to read about the lost soul in the next book and was awesome to see that character in a few scenes.
