“Cuộc đời Lenin" (tiếng Nga : Жизнь Ленина) là một cuốn tiểu sử nghệ thuật về người sáng lập Nhà nước Soviet Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, hay thường được biết đến với tên gọi: Lenin. Tập truyện ký được nữ văn sĩ Maria Prilezhayeva viết dành riêng cho trẻ em.
Tác phẩm đã được dịch sang nhiều ngôn ngữ khác nhau, và nhiều mẩu chuyện trong đó đã được đưa vào chương trình giáo dục Tiểu học, Trung học ở tại hầu hết các nước Xã hội chủ nghĩa trước đây. Phần tranh minh họa do họa sĩ nổi tiếng Orest Vereysky thực hiện.
Cuốn sách tập hợp những câu chuyện về Lenin từ những ngày thơ ấu ở Simbirsk, tuổi thanh niên sôi nổi đấu tranh chống bất công xã hội và những giai đoạn chính trong đời hoạt động Cách mạng.
Lần đầu tiên xuất bản ở Liên Xô vào năm 1970, kể từ đó đến 1990 tác phẩm liên tục được tái bản hầu như mỗi năm. Cuốn sách đã được dịch sang nhiều thứ tiếng: Anh , Pháp, Đức, Tây Ban Nha, Ba Lan, Tiệp Khắc, România, Bulgaria, Trung Quốc, Việt Nam ...Tác phẩn đã đoạt Giải thưởng Nhà nước Liên Xô mang tên Nadezhda Krupskaya (1971).

«Các bạn đọc trẻ tuổi thân mến!
Tôi viết cho các em cuốn truyện này về cuộc đời Lê-nin với niềm xúc động vô bờ. Tôi muốn miêu tả hình ảnh sinh động của Vla-đi-mia I-lích, kể về thời thơ ấu và niên thiếu của Người, về những giai đoạn chủ yếu của cuộc đấu tranh cách mạng và hoạt động nhà nước của Người. Tôi muốn khi đọc những trang này các em càng thêm yêu mến nồng nhiệt I-lích thân yêu - vị lãnh tụ, người thầy, người bạn gần gũi nhất của chúng ta.
Tất nhiên, trong một cuốn sách không thể kể hết toàn bộ cuộc đời Vla-đi-mia I-lích, bởi vì cuộc đời đó rất bao la và vô tận. Cuốn truyện này chỉ là một trong những giai đoạn để các em tìm hiểu Lê-nin. Khi nào các em lớn lên, trước mắt các em sẽ mở ra nhiều cái mới về cuộc đời độc đáo và kì công vĩ đại của Vla-đi-mia I-lích - người sáng lập ra Đảng cộng sản và nhà nước Xô-viết.»

أول كتاب اقرأه عن الثورة البلشفية في روسيا
الكتاب يرصد السيرة الذاتية للينين بدءا من ولادته عام 1870 حتى مماته في العام 1924
داهمت الحرب الشعب الروسي والشعوب الأخرى , فمن المنتفع من الحرب
إنهم الرأسماليون ،الرأسماليون يبتزون المليارات بسبب الحرب
وهم يتنازعون من أجل الاستيلاء على أسواق جديدة دوما
ومن أجل ابتزاز المزيد من الأرباح وهم يخدعون الجنود والعمال زاعمين بأن هؤلاء يدافعون عن الوطن أما الواقع فهذا ليس دفاعا عن الوطن
بل هو دفاع عن المصالح الرأسمالية ، ينبغي أن نوضح للجنود والعمال والفلاحين قائلين :
لقد وقع السلام في أيديكم
يا جنود وعمال العالم .......وجهوا السلاح ضد قياصرتكم ورأسماليكم
شنوا الثورة , فلتسقط الحرب الجائرة
وأعلنوا حربا على الحرب<\b>

V.I. Lenin - The Story Of His Life by Maria Prilezhayeva
Maria Prilezhayeva's "V.I. Lenin - The Story of His Life" is a biography of Vladimir Lenin, the communist icon of Soviet Russia. I read this book in Tamil as I was able to get hold off a translated copy in Kindle. The book is a written account on the life of Lenin covering the events and happenings in chronological order.
The biography dwells deep into the plight of peasants and factory workers at the hands of landlords and capitalists. The impact of the first world war on the working class and contrastingly the gains of capitalists with their imperialist agenda are explained here. The anti-war propaganda by Lenin during such times was followed by a call for a revolution to fight against the Tsar rule in Russia which organized the workers and peasants in masses. This led to the November revolution which also overthrew the provisional government in Russia thus establishing the founding stone for communism in the country.
The war-hit Soviet Union countries faced famines, inclement weather conditions and pandemics which piled up the misery of the people. But, Lenin's vision of communist Russia and planning during tough times to act on a war time basis bailed out the people of Soviet Union countries to an extent.
His speeches and writings that inspired millions of people to stage the revolution against the mighty Tsar rule and imperialist countries are covered in detail. Lenin followed the view of Marx and Engels’ to resolve class antagonisms in the society. The biography details Lenin’s vision for upbringing of the lives of working class and his relentless efforts towards the same despite the difficulties he faced during his imprisonment and exile. The book also touches upon the betrayal that revolutionists suffered at the hands of Trotsky briefly and how Lenin tried mending the adverse impact.
The translation had less impact with the revolutionary songs quoted as the voice of the workers. Though the following Lenin had during and post the revolution is undeniable, this book or most probably the translation at times goes overboard with praise for even the trivial and thoughts and mundane actions of Lenin.
The resurrection of Soviet nations from the effects of war, famine and pandemic under the able leadership of Lenin and the bloom of communism as a result is a process that was staged with the destruction of the state machine. The book points out Lenin’s revolutionary role in this until his death.
An insightful biography that introduces Lenin, despite the overdose of praise at certain places.

Hagiographic propaganda only worth it if you're a serious Lenin scholar bent on reading everything that has ever been written about him.
