I’m glad this issue didn’t devote many pages to recap Cloak and Dagger’s origins.

It’s interesting the differences in this issue from the last time I read about these characters; there’s a different priest in the church they use for sanctuary - a priest who condemns Tyronne and what he's become, Cloak has become even more bitter and entitled, going after innocent people.
The only constant is that Tandy hates what they can do and just wants to be normal.

The only plot that really interests me so far is between Tandy and her mother.

These 2 were the best! They reminded me of junkies who were searching for redemption by twisting the moral i.plications of two wrongs don't make a right. The themes of fidelity and friendship were strong and the dark dimension inside Cloak was mysterious, terrifying, and a bit awesome to a young mind.

Marvel gives us a sermon. Bur, a well presented and well drawn message.
