Great introductory book with simplified explanations and countless, well-constructed diagrams to assist you in grasping concepts. I believe the well-planned diagrams are the best part of this book and really help facilitate your learning of particular concepts.

yup - i'm back in school with the belief that with full comprehension of anatomy & physiology (as well as chemistry), you should be able to understand what the f* that doctor is telling you...

Great reference and learning tool

Very good diagrams and detail. Not overly wordy that a novice can't understand. Thorough unit content. Heaps cheaper then the hard copy.
