I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

Marc is part of the Saints team who has always had a love of planes and flying so when the group gets a new assignment to fly to Alaska it's a no brainer that Marc will be the one to do it. Hired to fly a Dr. Kenneth Rhodes to DC, he is shocked when he finds out that he will actually be flying his daughter Kendell Rhodes instead.
Kendell Rhodes works for her father and is now going to DC instead of her father. After the plane that she is on with Marc goes down in the mountains of Canada the two of them must fight to stay alive and find out who is out to get Kendell or maybe even her father.
A romance is brewing between the two but is it a because you saved my life and I saved yours kind of romance or is it something more? You must read this amazing 5 star read to find out. You don't want to miss out on this book

Ugh. I wanted Marc's story to be flawless and, sadly, it was flawed.
We finally get to hear Marc's story. After saving so many of the Saint's in previous books, it was their turn to save him. After getting his assignment to move an important doctor from Alaska to DC, Marc flew directly to the state. However, on the day he was set to fly out, the FBI threw a curveball at him, telling him he was moving the doctor's daughter instead.
While angry and frustrated, he still agrees to do it. He's eager to move the beautiful woman that's so far from his type, but sabotage happens. Over Canada he realizes his fuel gauge was tampered with and they're running on empty. He tells Kendall to prepare herself because they're going to crash.
Okay, it wasn't quite that dramatic.
But it was bad and they're now trapped in the woods. That should be the worst of their problems - until Marc falls down into a ravine.
Now they're lost in a blizzard and the only one trained for the wilderness is injured.
This is a story of survival.
I REALLY wanted to like this book because I adore Marc. However, this one felt so different from the other ones. It was a lot like your generic romances in that they fall in love within a day or so. Their relationship felt like it was built on the chaotic situation and fear of death rather than an actual connection.
Plus, while I liked Kendall, she was all about labs and science, disliking everything about nature. How would their relationship build and grow when that's all Marc likes? It felt like they had nothing in common other than enjoying good sex.
It definitely had its moments and I liked the scenes with the Saints. But this was one of the weaker books in the series.

This is Maryann Jordan 10th book in the Saints Protection and Investigations Series.This book is full of suspense drama and romance just what you expect from a Maryann Jordan book.
A Mountain Man and a Doctor could this unlikely couple really make it together well to find out they need to survive a plane crash and days in the freezing Canadian Mountains first, which should be easy for a outdoorsy survival Saint like Marc but for a doctor from Louisiana they must lean on each other and draw from each other's strength to come out of this alive.
Marc is on a covert mission to fly a Dr Kenneth Rhodes from Alaska to Washington DC but last minute plans change and he's taking his daughter Dr Kendall Rhodes instead. There plane is sabotaged and crashes. Marc is a strong Alpha male who is used to saving and protecting but Kendall surprises Marc as not the damsel in distress he expects and under extreme circumstances finds the strength to save them both.
Even after their rescue danger still lurks and there is still someone who wants Kendall dead can Marc and the Saints find out in time before it's to late.
I loved this story the characters where great Kendall wasn't what you expect her to be, she was strong and capable and Marc showed such a tender gentle side. I also love seeing all the old characters again and who's with who and how they met it was an added bonus to the book.
The stories Maryann Jordan writes are enjoyable, holds your interest and keeps you guessing until the very end plus there's plenty of romance and sexy men to enjoy.

I got this book as as ARC
Great adventure story with suspens, intrigue and lots of romance in between. Marc, mountain man, survivalist and all around hunk, is on a covert mission to fly an important scientist from Alaska to Washington DC. Piece of cake, right? Last minute change of plans when Kendall shows up instead of her father. She's not his normal "type" but underneath her button up exterior lies a beautiful woman and he is inextricably drawn to her. Thrown together under the harshest of circumstances, they must depend on each other completely. Even after rescue, Kendall continues to be in danger and Marc is more determined than ever to protect her. All the while the spark between them becomes a raging inferno and they succumb willingly.
I loved this story from the outset. Marc is virile, sexy and so self contained. Kendall is not a delicate flower but leads a fairly insular life dedicated to her work. It was amazing to see her develop the inner strength she needed to survive.
As is usual with all the Saints Protection books, Maryann Jordan has created likable character with depth, strength and rich personalities. Their stories are compelling, definitely hold your interest and are enjoyable entertainment. This series is a favorite of mine.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I Loved Marc and Kendall.
Marc is hot and sexy and a pilot he knows how to survive outdoors and is the perfect person to pick up Kendall.
Kendall is a doctor who is quiet and shy and does not like the outdoors. until that is their plane crashes and they have no choice but to survive together.
The storyline was great and it held my Attention from page 1

Surviving Love is the tenth book in the Saints Protection & Investigations series by Maryann Jordan. After seeing this series pop up several times as recommendations from friends on social media, I knew I needed to check them out. But when I went to purchase one to explore, I found I had several waiting on my Kindle that I hadn't even read yet ..... so I quickly set about remedying that.
This is an engrossing twelve-book journey that blends romantic suspense with high-stakes investigative drama. The core of the series follows a private investigation business composed of men with backgrounds in the CIA, FBI, ATF, DEA, Border Patrol, SEALs, and police – all are individuals uniquely suited to tackle missions no one else can handle. This military-trained ensemble ensures plenty of adrenaline-fueled action while also maintaining a more personal element through the romantic subplots.
Each book introduces us to strong, alpha male MMCs who are then paired with resilient, intelligent women. The complex interplay between duty and romance gives the characters relatable motivation and plenty of growth.
Ms. Jordan crafted tightly woven storylines, ranging from kidnapping rescues and cartel confrontations to counterterrorism and high-tech investigations. Each mission is distinct, often escalating in danger and complexity, which maintained the suspense throughout the stories/series.

The final saint finds love (but there is still two more books) we have a cross over with Logan (this is before his series, I have read Logan worth the read its set in same world just after this series)
Sadly I read in wrong order.But being set in same world just different places don't matter to much.only when there is cross overs and you hear about wife's then go back to read other series later at the beginning.
That happened to me, So when reading Logan I heard of Jack his wife and saints, that lead me to this series.
But saying that it's great like a book that never ends favours characters gets cameos as a book lover it's great like a tv series gets seasons we do to, um would that be volume? Guess season works also. (Would help with order reads,plus storyline would be even better when you start at roots)
This author is great thinks outside the box, her security series always have a deep beautiful meaning behind their name with honor and grace. Loved lighthouse and the Keepers series (Mace first book) now this one is saints and jacks story is sweet. This book is the last saint Marc, I did read about him in Logan but great to get more information and the journey to love.
Think next is new FBI agent Nick (new to the team replacing mitch)

I have recently become a fan of Ms Jordan’s books, so even though I had not read any of the previous 9 books of her series, Saints Protection and Investigation, I decided to give this one a try. It’s a stand alone, but I have to confess that at first , I got a little confused with all the characters from the previous books who were part of this story. Once I decided I was not going to worry about them, and concentrated on the storyline , I got into the book.
One of the main characters ais Marc, a Saint team member and the last one not in a relationship . He is an outdoorsman and has zero interests in getting involved with anyone. He is assigned to accompany a “Dr Rhodes” from Alaska to New Orleans. That’s where we meet our other main character, Dr Kendall Rhodes. She was not the original Dr Rhodes that he was suppose to transport, so he is surprised by the turn of events. Enroute to their destination , Marc realized their plane has been sabotage. That’s when the going gets tough.
It’s a book filled with strong characters , suspense, whodunit, physical attraction and maybe love.
It also reminds us that sometimes, we underestimate our strengths both physical and mental. Especially if life and death is in the mix. And that love, doesn’t always come as we expect. Whom we thought we imagined as a partner, could be totally different than what in reality, we embrace.

In this latest installment of the Saints Protection & Investigation series, we finally get Marc's book! Marc is a pilot and an outdoors man, so it's only natural that part of his story takes place in his plane and in the Canadian wilderness. His heroine was a bit of a surprise, because Kendall is a lab researcher and anything but an outdoors person. However, thrown into a desperate situation together with Marc, she realizes that she is much more of a survivalist than she would have thought.
Marc and Kendall are instantly attracted to each other and, although a bit overwhelmed of how quickly things develop, they act upon their feelings and plan a common future. Like in many of Maryann's books, they don't need a lot of drama to find out what they want. Instead we get lots of drama in the suspense story line, with Marc and Kendall crashing with their plane in a snow storm in the wilderness, being rescued, and then chasing the person behind this attack.
This is another great book in a great series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend to read the books in order for maximum enjoyment.

This story is a bit different from the others in that this one takes place outside of Virginia at least for the first half of the book. Also these two are alone and only have each other. Much like Cam and Miriam they are running for their lives. Someone wants Kendall dead.
There are twists and turns and well the damsel saves the hero once during this book. They fall for each other hard and fast, much like the others in the series. If have to be stranded it may as well be with a Saint!
Fun, fast read and I really liked Kendall and Marc together. They fit even with not much in common.

Wow, Maryann Jordan books keep getting better every time. Marc is part of the Saints team, he's the pilot of the group of guys. Marc is an outdoorsman he spends his free time hiking or doing some camping basically a survivalist. Kendall is the opposite, she is more of the type to stay indoors finding a new research opportunity. when marc is hired to fly Dr. Rhodes back to the states he is surprised when he sees that Dr. Rhodes is a woman. With the mix up he is flying not Father Dr. Rhodes but a beautiful smart daughter Dr. Rhodes. Suddenly his plane is going down and they are learning to survive in wild but throw in a BliZZard, they soon find a way to fight against its odds. While they are stuck the rest of the teams does it's best to figure out who would want Dr. Rhodes and how will they take them down.
I love this story not only Marc being all alpha let Kendall take over when things went south but also reminded her how brave she was. Marc is a sweet character lets her be independent yet encourage her to strive the best. I also like Kendall's job she wasn't a whiny character she was a smart successful woman who is perfectly fine being on her own in the lab.

You can't lose when you pick up any Maryann Jordan book! I loved Surviving Love and Marc Jenkins is definitely swoon worthy! In surviving love, we finally get the Saint's pilot and outdoorsman Marc. At the start of the story, we get a picture of the kind of woman that Marc wants in his life and I just loved how he finds the opposite. Dr. Kendall Rhodes is not outdoorsy at all, she personifies the typical researcher. However, throughout the story we start to see a completely different Kendall and Marc is quick to notice. I loved seeing her find her inner strength and backbone! In the story, Marc is sent to Alaska to escort Dr. Rhodes home and is surprised to find Kendall, not her father Kenneth. Of course, nothing goes as planned and Marc and Kendall have to crash land with a blizzard coming their way. I won't give the details, but Kendall ends up needing to save Marc and he has to rely on her! Their love story was so beautiful to read, especially because neither was looking for each other. Thank you Maryann Jordan for another awesome read and I'm looking forward to the next Saint and the next Baytown books! I received an author's copy and I have left an honest review.

This is the 10th book in the Saints series and I don't see it letting up anytime soon. Sometimes you can see that the series has run its course but I don't believed this is so with the Saints. I love everyone of the men and women featured and I really hope to see many more.
I really like to commend Maryann Jordan for writing strong, fiercely protective but at the same time sweet Alpha male characters. She also has a knack for writing characters that you wouldn't think would fit each other but somewhow they totally worked. This is true for Marc and Kendall. Marc is your outdoors-hiking-survival kind of man while Kendall is a labrat, hiking and camping is so far from her comfort zone. However, throughout the progression of this story, you will see how the table turned, how it was Kendall that had to be the protector, this labrat has blossomed when the going gets rough and Marc had to depend on her.
At the end of the day, the Hero and Heroine prevailed and the bad guys get their just desserts. Another winner for Ms Maryann Jordan.

Each member of the Saints team has his strength and when they need a pilot to fly a scientist from a conference in Alaska safely to Washington, DC, Marc is called in. But what starts out as a routine assignment quickly, becomes complicated.
Marc is hoping to one day find his soulmate, a woman who can compliment his active, outdoorsy lifestyle, but only finds himself in superficial relationships.

I have been waiting in anticipation for Marc's story and the author did not disappoint! Marc Jenkins receives a new assignment to fly Dr Rhodes, a renowned microbiologist, back to the US from Alaska. However due to certain events he ends up with Dr Kendall Rhodes, daughter of Dr Rhodes instead of her father. From the start Marc feels uneasy about the sudden changes to the plan. Shortly after they took off, it becomes apparent that someone does not want them to reach their destination - their plane has been sabotaged and Marc needs to make an emergency landing in the wilderness. While Marc loves the outdoors, Kendall is more comfortable in her lab... however Marc quickly learns that Kendall is stronger than he thinks and should not be underestimated. Will they survive the harsh elements of mother nature and whoever wants them dead?
Although this book forms part of a series it can be read as a standalone and it contains a HEA! I highly recommend this entire series – suspense romance at its best!!

Pilot Mark Jenkins is angry his task was changed without his office’s knowledge, he didn’t have an issue with Dr. Kendall Rhodes but he contracted for Dr. Kenneth Rhodes, her boss/father. Getting orders to proceed, Mark and Kendall are over a remote wooded area in the Yukon with a storm bearing down on them when Marc has to land. In a tree! Pulling equipment, supplies and luggage out of the plan, Marc immediately notices more than half is missing!
Communicating with the office, the team gets busy trying to rescue Marc and Kendall plus find out if Kendall or Kenneth is the target and who let someone through FBI protection to get to Marc’s plane as the storm worsens. The Rhodes office is rife with suspects including their DHS overseer but Charlie and the boys don’t seem to be able to make headway there, the tiny FBI office can’t be trusted and they were ‘protecting’ Mark’s plane. As the storm breaks, Kenneth prepares to go under Saint protection but the boys have difficulty rescuing Kendall and Mark as the opposition tries to kill them mid-rescue!

Another really great book in this series! This time it's Marc's turn to fall hard for the woman of his dreams. When Marc meets Kendall, he sees a frail, sickly scientist, but yet he is drawn to her. Kendall is a scientist who considers herself a nerd and no one someone like Marc would look twice at. When they are put into a life and death situation, Kendall finds strength that she never knew she had. Marc and Kendall save each other in more ways than one.
This was an action packed adventure. I loved the fast pace of this book. I loved how Kendall started out as more of a wall flower and blossomed to a kick butt heroine. Maryann writes great alpha heroes with such a soft spot for the women they fall for. This book was a perfect addition to the Saint series and a really great read. I also loved catching up with all the characters from the other Saint books. So much fun to see what they are all doing now.

I absolutely loved Marc's story!!!! I have been waiting on Marc's story ever since I started reading the Saints series and it was so worth the wait!! Kendall and Marc are complete opposites...Marc is a strong alpha male who loves the outdoors and Kendall is very smart but sheltered young lady who would rather stay in her lab rather than dealing with the outside world. However their story shows that opposites do indeed attract and that when push comes to shove...you can do what is necessary to survive and protect each other. I know I say it every time but I truly mean it....Marc and Kendall is my favorite story I have read in the Saints Protection series hands down.
I highly recommend their story and the whole series for that matter to everyone!! It is a phenomenal series and you won't be disappointed. Another 5 star read from the very talented Maryann Jordan...well done!!!

Well another amazing saints novel, by Maryann, we have another look into the lives of all the saints but this book centres on Marc, he is a pilot tasked with a top secret mission to fly to Alaska and collect a top scientist.
He has watched all the saints meet and fall for their women and now it's finally his turn !
In his hotel he meets a gorgeous woman in the lift and feels a connection, but they go their separate ways and he doesn't know who she is, but he knows he can't get her off his mind.
He starts his mission by checking his plane, and has the shock of his life when the woman he met in the lift is his new passenger, turns out his original passenger has already been flown back in the middle of the night and his new passenger is also a top scientist !
Read on for the mind blowing story of Marc and Dr Kendall, it's well worth the read.
Maryann Jordan you have done it again, kept me captivated and had to read it beginning to end with out interruptions!

Surviving Love a rollercoaster ride.
Surviving Love will jump start your heart with a great action filled love story. Maryann Jordan knows how to grab a reader and never let go. This is one of her most enticing action packed Saints stories ever. Her main characters are so well depicted that you are rooting for them from the start...talk about opposites attracting ...their chemistry was off the charts. Big bad survivalist Marc and nerdy scientist Kendall what a perfect pair. The secondary characters are totally necessary to the story and it was nice to have an update on all of the Saints and their wives and girlfriends....like old home week. The story line is riveting and fun and will hold your interest from start to finish. Such a sweet endearing HEA for Kendal and Mark and they so deserved. No one tells a story more masterfully than Maryann Jordan and she really pulls this one off. Beautiful story line, characters and scenery how can you go wrong. Loved it.

This is a great read. Marc is the last single Saint and has his doubts he’ll ever find his woman. His latest mission is to fly a renown microbiologist working with Homeland Security against terrorism from Alaska to DC. When Kendall, the daughter of the scientist shows up instead of her father he ends up piloting her instead. His plans change again when he discovers the plane has been sabotaged and they make a crash landing in the wilds of Canada with a snow storm coming. Kendall has never been camping in her life and after a panic attack or two she and Marc seek a safe place to hide until the Saints can get them out. Things go somewhat smoothly until Marc is injured and Kendall has to get him to shelter. Of course feelings develop and Kendall is still in danger. Lots of suspects, lots of investigating, terrorist, more suspects, the Saints and their women and love.

What can I say. This is definitely my favourite saints book to date. I have loved all of Maryann's books but there was definitely something more with this book.
I loved the building connection between Marc and Kendall it was almost a slow burn but the connection was deep. I absolutely adored how they interacted with each other and I loved the storyline. This book kept you on your toes with the action and twists and turns. I loved the fact that Kendall was stronger than she believed and she came across as real.
I would definitely recommend this book and author to anyone who loves action with their romance it was definitely a well thought out book. The story line flowed and was easy to follow and I got emersed with the charecters. I thoroughly enjoyed this bookand hope anyone who read this does too. Maryann never disappoints amd always delivers a quality read.

The last single Saint meets his match in this tale of love in the wilderness. Marc Jenkins has loved to fly since he was a young boy at the age of 6. Now, at the age of 30, he spends his time with the Saints flying missions and camping in the wilderness to escape his life. When a job protecting and flying an important researcher across the country from Alaska to D.C. goes horribly wrong, Marc is thrown into the adventure of a lifetime. Marc and Kendall must learn that sometimes, in order to survive, you have to learn to rely on others and find strength within yourself that you didn’t even know existed. The Saints must solve another who-dun- it mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Maryann continues to pull us into a world filled with characters that we continue to love over and over again. You will not want to miss this Saint’s story!

OMG! This story was intriguing right from the gitgo. This story is about Marc and Kendall. It starts out the two meeting each other but didn't get each other's name. Then when there is a break-in where Kendall works and her father is wicked back home, Marc is "stuck" taking Kendall to DC for a meeting until their plane crashes. Now it is Marc and Kendall against the elements and animals. Things only get worse when Marc is injured and Kendall finds out how strong she is. I think this part was the most intense part of this story. It was a shock to see who the actual traitor was among her fellow colleagues. Once the terrorist and traitor are neutralized, Marc and Kendall find their happily ever after. Plus, we got to see Angel and Monty the the knot. FANTASTIC job Maryann! I would recommend this book.

Enroute to secretly transporting Kendall to DC from a symposium in Alaska, he finds his plane has been tampered with and next thing you know they are stranded in the wilds of Canada with a blizzard heading towards them.
While Kendall thinks she would not be able to survive without Marc, she finds her strength to care for Marc when he needs it! Through this adventure and the danger that follows her, she comes to realize she has the strength and with the Saints and their significant others has the belonging she never had.
What an intense and wonderful book. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series!

I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Let me say first the Saints books are amazing each in their own right. These are stories filled with strong alphas and strong smart women. This is the story of Marc and Kendall. Marc is charged with transporting Kendall under the Saints protection to DC...simple task that turns out to be an exciting romantic adventure with a mystery done in true Maryann Jordan fashion. Have you ever read a book and you just didn't want it to end...thats how I felt while reading this one...your gonna love this one!

This story was very intense, fast paced and oh so sexy. Marc Jenkins is the Saint’s pilot. He loves the outdoors and is out there as often as possible. Marc’s newest assignment is to fly to Alaska in a small plane (yes, all the way from Mississippi), pick up a famous microbiologist who is working with Home Land and Olympic stake holders.
At the last minute, a series of happenstance takes place and the scientist Dr. Kenneth Rhodes was taken back to his University and his daughter Dr. Kendall Rhodes was not the scientist being escorted by Marc.
