This was so worth the wait - this is a great addition to the Denali Den series and I loved reading it!

Werebear Stryker Vane is doing his brother a big favour by going to pick up the woman his brother plans to marry. Just imagine how he felt when his brother than asks Stryker to let the lady know that he’s changed his mind and the wedding is off! However, when he scents her across the crowded arrivals hall, Stryker has other plans of his own that certainly don’t involve his brother but definitely involve Ava!

Ava Perello had only met Stryker’s brother over the internet but she’s desperate and has planned to marry him for reasons of her own. When Stryker volunteers to step in for his brother as the groom she can’t resist. However, she has secrets, reasons why she was so desperate to marry and what’ll happen when the cause of them turns up to thwart her plans? Life’s about to get even more interesting for this pair!

This is a very quick read but so worth the time! Rebecca Thomas packs so much into this short story, it is a real page turner and, as well as romance, has elements of mystery, suspense and drama together with a feisty female werebear and some truly alpha males. Set in Alaska, the author’s intimate knowledge of the State shines through in the brilliant descriptions. All the characters are brought to life within the pages of the story with superb secondary as well as main characters - though I have to say, I don't like Brett! I’m waiting in eager anticipation for the third story in this series! In case you haven’t gathered, I thoroughly enjoyed this and highly recommend it to anyone but especially to other folks who want to escape for a while into a well written, engaging and fun paranormal romance.

Ava is a feisty, no nonsense woman who knows what she want. She needs a husband. She has a plan. To the very last detail she has this issue licked. But what happens when the plan goes to hades and there isn't a plan B?

Skyler is a bear on a mission. He knows it's not an easy mission but he's determined to complete the mission by any means necessary. Rope. Kidnapping. Secluded cabin. My, my, my! It's getting hot in here!

Who will win the ultimate game? Doesn't matter if there's rope involved!

Five stars!

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title.
Picking up his brother's intended bride appeared to be a chore, until two things happened. Firstly, Silas had told him that he had already found his true mate, and then Ava appeared on the escalator before him. One glance, one sniff, and he was sure.
Well now, you'll have to read for yourself what happens next.

This book is painful. I liked the first one, and it wasn’t very long which was even better. I think the author assumes since she had briefly introduced the male protag in the first book, she didn’t have to work on fleshing out his character in this one. Wrong. I know next to nothing about the male protag, nor do I know much about the fem protag except she’s exceedingly selfish (going on a marriage website to find a hubby, then secretly planning to divorce him so you don’t have to deal with the inconvenience of your pushy family or a husband is shitty. What if there’s cubs???). If I don’t know anything about the characters except wha/t’s important for the plot, then I don’t care about what happens to them. This book is hollow to me because the MC’s personalities and backgrounds are missing. So far they’ve only had repetitive, plot important conversations and that’s boring.

Hero _ sweet guy
Heroine _ bitch. The way she treated hero ugh..

Story _ was really good but went down hill at the end. Heroine was confused bitch who treated hero poorly. Then there was a big fuss about her running away from her family but no details were given like how were here parents and what about the people in n her den, were they rude and selfish.? Why didn't she want to marry her ex?
Lastly there was mention about hero's secretary's odd behavior after knowing about his marriage but again no details were given. So nope left unsatisfied.

Wed to the Bear by Rebecca Thomas......I don't read very many paranormal romance, but Rebecca Thomas has done a great job, I loved it. Stryker and Ava are a perfect Bear couple and I enjoyed watching their story be told. Rebecca Thomas is one of my favorite authors and always gives us page turning stories. I voluntarily review an advance reader copy of this book.

I liked this short story but Stryker rubbed me the wrong way. Yes he is a romantic and sweet but he was just a tad needy in the beginning. If he had more time to develop then it wouldn't have been so bad.

Ava is fleeing her “allocated marriage” to a bully of a bear from her home den. She thinks she’s headed for a short term marriage of convenience when she boards the plane to Alaska, but once she arrives she learns that nothing is going to plan.

So good

Ava and Stryker's relationship did not start in the traditional way, but in the end this love at first sight, worked towards their HEA.

A really fun whirlwind romance
I love this were-bear hero, Stryker Vane! He had been eagerly looking forward to meeting and being forever loyal to his True Mate, and then he meets her! Stryker is sexy and adorable. Ava, his were-bear lady, is also a really likable character.
Rebecca Thomas somehow puts a satisfying and really fun romance into a really small package. I suppose that it is classified as a longer short story or a shorter novella. It is the perfect story to put a smile on the face of PNR readers who like a little humor. Who can resist the story of an email-order were-bear bride going to Alaska? FYI, there is a passionate love scene that is written without graphic details, but it is really intimate and steamy.
I know that the author lives in Alaska, and her love for the beautiful state shows. I am eagerly awaiting the next novella in this series. This one can certainly read out of order, but your experience will be richer if you read Book 1, "Beauty and the Bear", first.
I received a free advanced reading copy from the author, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

The second book in the series opens with Stryker at the airport waiting to pick up his brother Silas's online bride. Once Stryker sees Ava he knows that she is his True Mate and the fun really begins. I laughed and giggles through the story as Stryker tries to convince Ava they belong together forever. Just a fun read. I cannot wait to read book 3. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

If you're looking for a very quick read here you go

I know this was suppose to be a quick book but I have to admit I hate books like these just as I am getting invested into these characters I can tell when it's coming to an end when everything starts getting shoved down my throat I know little over dramatic but I can't help myself I don't understand what's the point in writing books like these??? If you can't write a full length novel then don't! I love a good novella here and there to catch people up in a series when you're wondering what ever happened with a certain character. I just don't get it you have a story line here that could be great Ava is running from an arranged marriage so she meets Silas on a werebear dating site and they arrange through Skype and email that they would get married but when the time comes for Ava's flight to land Silas brother Stryker is waiting to pick her up for Silas since he was working and couldn't be there for her. Stryker gets a call from Silas that he's met his true mate and that he won't be marrying Ava so what does Stryker do he plans on breaking the news to Ava but as soon as he sets eyes on her he realizes she's his true mate. Ava however doesn't believe in love at first site so she somehow doesn't realize Stryker is her true mate, any how Stryker breaks the news to Ava and she tells him that she is not leaving without a husband and he steps up and agrees to marry her they go to the court house say their vows and they're married. In stead of staying in a hotel they camp in the woods for the night and seal the deal on their marriage and it was short and to the point next day they're off to his place and during the drive Ava gets her feathers ruffled and she tells Stryker to pull over and she goes off for a run in her bear form when someone pulls up behind Stryker and it's her brother and her ex fiance Brett. Ava's brother ends up getting hurt during a fight with Brett and Stryker and they take him back to Stryker's to heal. Once they get their Stryker tells her to pack up they're going on their honeymoon and get to know one another better and she starts to get cold feet and we'll while she is alone in his office she starts to look through his library of books and comes across of all things Twilight!!! So after having a nice heart to heart with his brother Stryker plans on grabbing Ava and taking her to his cabin and if she doesn't agree to stay with him he plans on kidnapping her but as he walks in he sees her reading a book and asks what's she's reading and she said Twilight and that she realizes she's a lot like Bella Oh yeah how so well she had to choose between Jacob or Edward Ava had to choose Stryker or Brett being with Stryker would be hard more difficult but being with Brett would make everyone happy so she decided she was choosing Edward/Stryker and she loved him Yada Yada ya The End!! So if you're still with me after reading all this you pretty much just read the entire book are you as let down as I am sorry to say I wish their were more books out their to read I have exhausted Amazons selection if it weren't for this book being free because of Kindle unlimited I never would have read it so feel free to make your own choice my advice would be find something better

Denali Bears #2

I chose this rating because I really enjoyed reading this story. It was not overly long and did not have exaggerated or superfluous sex scenes. The writing was concise and to the point with no unnecessary scenes. I truly enjoyed Stryker and the way he loved his wife.

Short, sweet, and sassy! Just wish it was a bit longer...
Stryker is picking Ava up at the airport for Stryker. When Stryker calls to tell him the weddings off, but he had not reached Ava before she left, he is not sure what will happen.
Grab the novella and find out!
