Tonight, I met the man of my dreams.

Whoever said living in California was glamorous and easy-going lied through their fucking teeth. I guess I can blame reality TV for that pervasive B.S. Maybe it was good thing my old man banned television at home for all the years he was alive, after all. I probably would’ve been even more deluded than I was when I’d moved up here from Arkansas three months ago.
Looking back, I’m not even sure why I did it; why, of all the places I could’ve chosen to start a new life, I picked Los Angeles: one of the most expensive places in the world to live. I don’t even know anyone one here. Heck, I’d never even visited the city before my move.
Still, I’m determined to make it here, to make something of myself. And that means I have no time for distractions of any kind—especially guys.
But then, he comes along; the sexiest, strongest, most handsome, most intimidating, and most powerful man I’ve ever seen.
He’s absolutely gorgeous, with eyes that seem to burn right through my soul and the most charming smile in existence, and his allure, his entire being, is simply magnetic.
He’s impossibly beautiful and just…ugh, perfect. He’s perfect. He’s everything every woman—and possibly quite a few men—wants, including me.
What I’m not prepared for, though, is how much he wants me, too.
However, there are three problems.
One: He’s not a man.
Two: I can only see him in my dreams.
And three: He commands an army of soul reapers.
And, apparently, that’s just the beginning…

Yay finally they are back together! Well what a way to find yourself back to the man if your dreams – naked in his bed? Yes please! Drawn to his warmth even in her dream state, or could it be their souls drawn to each other? He’s like her personal sun beacon and nothing is going to keep her from him. Well that’s when she finally gets some sleep that is.
It’s been 11 days after the incident – you know the one where the whole Atlantic Ocean just up sticks and vanished only to be replaced with wine and broken glass. Her body from then on feels like it is made up of a million vibrating pulses and each day they are getting stronger. With Rubies shut for the time being she has to take on more shifts at the dinner. Also means Eli now has the pleasure (or more like hell) of having to deal with the biggest douchebag out there along with his friends. Male chauvinist pig comes to mind with how he acts though he may start to regret how he acted. The saying be careful what you wish for comes to mind when she has a come back after saying she won’t be giving him her number, ‘when green pigs fly’ interesting choice. With all the strangeness that has been happening recently you may be able to guess where it goes from there. It’s after this that she succumbs to getting some sleeping pills. 11 days without sleep and she knows something’s wrong. Especially when she feels hungry rather than tired. Well hungry and horny really. The only thing that calms her is the image of her reapers eyes. She longs to see them and longs to forget. Can you guess what side wins when her head finally hits the pillow?
Matthiel has been working on overdrive for almost two weeks. They may have caught a few people who have taken advantage of the shift in power but he knows they are not to ones who caused it. Wrong place wrong time comes to mind. He also has come to the conclusion that his Kitty-cat is nothing more than an illusion after spending countless hours searching for her. Seems he didn’t need to search too hard though as she soon finds herself in his bed. The heat that comes off both of them could cause them to self-combust. Both of their scents seem to drive the other crazy with lust. Lust craved eyes, hands and mouths come together but when he takes a good look at her hand its like a bucket of water crashes down. He needs to figure out how she is involved before something else crazy happens and she needs to believe he is real for him to be able to help her. They really need to meet in the ‘real’ world rather than sleep land because I don’t think either really wants to be interrupted again. More craziness is coming mark my words. Eli needs to be careful what she says and Matthiel needs to figure out what she really is. Well other than being his perfect mate I’m thinking.

I love this book series, each volume is creative and is bringing me closer to finding out the answers I've been needing to know since volume 1. Matt gets to see Eli again, he recognizes her hand being important to all things that are happening. There's pure chemistry between Matt and Eli, she likes him calling her nickname he gave her. I'm so mad at him for not asking her real name. but again i need more, Ive got so many questions and i need those answers.

This book, have gotten interesting. Finally the main character have seen each other again. Now he have something to find Eli, hopefully he will find her. Can't wait til the next book.

This is definitely a suspenseful series :) I am always excited to get to the next book in the series. It's exactly like waiting for a favorite show to come on each week, however I do suggest reading at once if you're bad like me and like to binge watch things.
More action this week. And more answers, but still a lot of questions. I love Eli and Matthiel's chemistry. Seriously reading Matthiel's thoughts just drive me crazy!!!
Definitely will be continuing on.

August 10, 2017I am usually against serials but I have to admit I am glad I took a chance on this one, each volume leaves you wondering what could happen or go wrong next. So Eli and Matthies finally find each other again in "dream" land and start to get busy but of course SOMETHING has to happen to stop it. I have to think that they both are dealing with some major sexual frustration by now but to top it off the hand print issue! Well at least Metthies has a clue to find her in the mortal world unless something else happens LOL.
