“You may have decided to download this e-book for one of many reasons. Maybe you want to make the Bible a more integral part of your life. Maybe you want to meet God in Sacred Scripture, but just don’t know how. Or maybe you’re looking for a way to answer your friends, relatives, and coworkers who say Catholics know close to nothing about the word of God.
Whatever the case, this e-book is here to encourage, inform, and inspire you to put that Bible of yours to good use. As Catholics, we may hear readings from Scripture every Sunday during Mass, but that doesn’t mean we know it well. This e-book can help you find the hidden wonders within the Sunday Readings, and become filled with anticipation every time you pick up God’s Word for the new beautiful truths God will reveal to you.
As a child, I was starry-eyed, chin-on-my-hands fascinated as my parents told me Bible stories. Even well into my teens, I used to enjoy memorizing verses in Proverbs and the Gospels, if only for the gems of wisdom in them.

This e-book, though short, was excellently prepared and presented. Reading commentaries from each of the contributing authors was sincerely inspirational. I have taken some workshops from Jeff Cavins and this reading expanded nicely the growth I have thus far achieved. I say "short e-book" because I was disappointed the experience had come to an end. I truly would have read five times the length. Thank you.
