Love can last a lifetime…

Best buds in high school, Charlotte (Charlie) Watson and Nixon Holloway were inseparable … until the summer after graduation, when things in their relationship shifted and it all fell apart.

Four years later, their paths cross at a snowbound New York airport, and it doesn’t take long for them to realize that time and distance has done nothing to extinguish the flame between them. But life has moved on. Nixon has a girlfriend, and Charlie must face up to the lasting consequences of what she let happen that dreadful summer.

In a secret attempt to make amends, Charlie suggests a spontaneous road trip from New York to LA. As usual, Nixon can’t resist her persuasive charm and so they hit the road together. But as the duo make their way across the country, they are both forced to face some honest truths about themselves, their present lives, and all of the unfulfilled dreams they’ve let slip by.

Each of them can see the course their lives are taking … but is there someplace else they’d rather be? And will they have the courage to fight for the person they would rather be with?

I'm writing this review while crying because I freacking loved this book!

This is the best ending the Songbird Novels could ever had! Melissa is a genius!

The story of these two best friends, Charlie and Nixon, really melted my heart. I loved their connection over music, it reminded me how much I love to connect with people through music as well, besides books and writing.

I felt so sad for all the complications they had to be together, but I could also apreciated how stronger their love for each other was. Even when you thought they were about to gave up on everything they felt, they would continue fighting in one way or another.

And I really loved the cameo of the characters from the previous books! It was so nice to see them again. The nostalgia was real and made me shed some tears too.

If you're looking for a full of music, best buddies story, this is perfect!

Rather Be Review

Book Rating: 5 stars out of 5.

Story Line: 5 stars out of 5. I loved this book. It is the last full book in the series. This series honestly was a ride. Drama and romance, two of my favorite combinations. I'm really sad to be leaving this world so soon. I do have more books to read by Melissa Pearl. Like the Aspen Falls books. I really enjoyed the first book in that series too. My heart is going to break when I read the last novella to this series which is Fine By Me. It probably won't take me too long to finish it.

Well onto this story...oh this one. Best friends fall in love. Only to be ripped apart from each other. Nixon didn't understand why his best friend, Charlie, left him so suddenly. She broke his heart. What he didn't realize is that her heart was broken too. They run into each other at the airport. Nixon is surprised to see her.

Nixon now has a girlfriend, Shayna. He doesn't tell Charlie right away. Charlie comes up with an idea to have a road trip back to LA together. She wants it to be the way it was between them before she left. During the trip she wanted to tell him why she went to Montana...breaking his heart. She finds out he has a girlfriend on the trip home. One night of the trip, they both almost lose control. Nixon still wants Charlie. He still loves her. Charlie stops them from having sex. She doesn't want to make him into a cheater. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if they did that.

When they finally get back to LA...Nixon has a decision to make. Does he want to stay with Shayna or does he want Charlie back? He is conflicted. He goes to see his girl as soon as he gets home. His mother is at their apartment. Shayna has a surprise for him when he comes home. She had been talking to a wedding planner. It is Sarah and Justin's business.

Charlie's heartbreaks when she finds out he is getting married. Yet, Nixon, hadn't even proposed to Shayna yet. She feels in her heart she can't have Nixon. So she finally decides to what she set her heart out to do. She will see the world. She is a photographer after all.

Three months later, she busts her butt saving money to leave the country. Nixon realizes how unhappy he is. He also realizes that the only person he wants is Charlie. Shayna doesn't make him happy. Shayna doesn't make him come alive like Charlie does. He wants Charlie. Nixon also finds out that his father interfered in his relationship with Charlie.

His father threatened Charlie. Saying he would put a restraining order on her. She would start stories up about her. So that he could black mark her. He was a lawyer. The only reason he did it is because of the death of Reagan, Nixon's older sister. It broke their family apart. He felt Charlie would do the same to them. So he wanted to scare her away from their son. Basically telling her that she wasn't enough for Nixon.

That part really pissed me off. He shouldn't have done that. He should have let his son follow his heart. He should have let him make his own decisions. Losing someone is always hard. Grief is so hard to deal with. Going that overboard could have hurt his son deeply.

I'm glad that I also got see all of the couples from the series in this book. This book was so well put together. I really loved it; especially the ending when they finally go their happy ending.

Characters: 5 stars out of 5. I'm only going to talk about the main two since I loved both of them so much!

Charlie- She really was a free spirit. I loved her so much. I love her personality. She was such a breath of fresh air. I really was able to feel her pain throughout this whole novel. She went through so much. She knew in her heart that she would only belong to Nixon. She didn't want anyone else. I really wish she didn't have to suffer as much as she did. Same with Nixon though.

Nixon- I really loved him from the get go. I was in tune with his emotions as I was with Charlie. I really felt his heartbreak. I really felt his emptiness. I felt his pain as I had with Charlie. I also felt his anger when he found out the truth. He deserved the happiness in the end.

Favorite Quote- "I'd hate it if you were forced into a life you didn't want. It's really important that you follow your heart, and your dreams."

Writing Style: 5 stars out of 5. All books in this series really did hurt you and then build you back up. I really loved this series. I love seeing people fall in love. All the stories were interesting. I wish their were more. This series should have kept going.

Rather Be is an amazing conclusion to the SongBird Series. It's the kind of book that hits you hard. Whether it's the memory of your first love or of a recent lost love, it resonates within you, making you wonder what might have been. It makes you hurt for the loss and want for what could have been.

Rather Be is the story of Charlie and Nix, high school best friends turned lovers. They spent one incredibly special summer together after graduation before Charlie disappeared, breaking both of their hearts. Now 4 years later a chance meeting in a snowed out airport may give them a second chance at what should have always been. It's clear that both still have deep feelings for the other, but there's a lot of pain and no trust between them. Nix has a serious girlfriend, but still can't resist Charlie. Charlie has never moved on; every inch of her heart still belongs to Nix. These two are meant for each other, but life doesn't always work out like it should, does it!

They take off on a cross-country roadtrip that both hope offers answers and helps them gain closure in one way or another. This roadtrip broke my heart. It was such a painful journey sprinkled with a few perfect moments. Each time I thought maybe these two were heading in the right direction, one or the other would back away. By the time they reach home, though there is reason to hope. That is until we realize just what a coward Nix is. Before I thought that he was just a bit broken, drifting through life, letting others decide for him. Once he returns, I realize how seriously I underestimated his weakness. The book nearly lost me at this point. I figured even if Charlie got her HEA, I couldn't respect Nix enough to care. This was my second underestimation; this time of Melissa Pearl. Her writing was flawless. She pulled emotions out of me I wasn't willing to share with these characters. Didn't give me a choice. These characters made so many mistakes. They didn't trust each other when they should have. They were weak, scared. So many people live a comfortable life. They aren't unhappy, but they aren't fully alive. The shame of settling was fully exposed in this book. We should all live life in a rainbow if we get the chance. The payoff of being brave can be bliss.

When I finished the last page, I finished with a huge smile on my face and tears on my face. The Epilogue was fantastic, pure fun. From the travel challenges to the final video blog, I loved it. Songs are the soundtrack to our lives. Hearing a song can transport you back to a particular time, place, remind you of long-forgotten memories and people. This series captures that perfectly. Highly recommend.

There couldn‘t have been a better end to this wonderful series ♡ I enjoyed every songbird novel and with each story Melissa Pearl stole one more piece of my heart #alltimefavseries

„Rather be“ is a beautiful and unique second chance lovestory, very emotional and totally NOT what I expected and I loved THAT.
Nixon + Charlie = solid rock vs free spirit
They‘re opposites but balance each other perfectly and it b r o k e my heart to see them apart.
For Charlie their spontaneous road trip is a chance to try to make up for the past, leave behind a better memory - Nixon‘s reasons are a little different but I got where he was coming from.

I felt like I lost my life the day I found out she‘d ditched all our plans and taken off.

Charlie and Nixon are one of the realest characters I‘ve read so far because they are so perfectly imperfect if that makes sense ♡
I truly felt Charlie's insecurities and Nixon‘s struggles and fears with all the pressure and expectations from his parents and because of Charlie's previous leaving...And I loved that Charlie started to finally chase her dreams on her own and that Nixon made his decision BEFORE he knew about the „quiet word“.

Music is always a big part of the songbird novels and I absolutely loved the „Rather be“-music-storyline, it is something special ♡

Every songbird character has a little appearance in this last novel and that made saying goodbye so much sweeter. Still...I am a little sad...but there‘s always a re-read.

Thank you Melissa Pearl for 10 wonderful songbird novels and 1 perfect ending. Loved it!

I loved Charlie. Stuck between a rock and hard place, she made a decision that has impacted her life and dreams for 4 years. She wasn't completely unhappy, but she wasn't where she thought she would be and with the person she most wanted to be with. I wasn't sure if Nixon was the right guy for her given his need to please everyone and his family's inability to accept his choices. I understood that they were opposites, and yes, I do believe opposites do attract, and that their not being together was because of Charlie's decision, but....there were a few moments when I so wanted her to tell him why, but lord knows I understood her reasons for not doing so. It just frustrated me more when he did finally get to a point where he wanted to be with her and then fell into line again once home. I do have to admit that sometimes it felt a little repetitive...his constant need to remind himself that she was wild and left him, etc. And each time those came into play is when I wanted her to tell him why and to hell with consequences. I'm just not sure he would have believed her.

This was definitely one of my favorite of the Songbird novels, but since I have not read them all yet, that is still to be seen. BTW, the wedding scene was my favorite part with Nixon...way to put himself out there. :)

I have to be honest and say that I was slightly disappointed by the last story in the Songbird Novel - the story of Charlie and Nixon making way for another to fit in their love in this big and scary world. I guess I just had way far fetched expectations and it didn't quite reach there although it comes very close to the border.

I like how vibrant, colourful and wild Charlie is and how she's so headstrong to live her own life. I feel like I've seen this kind of plot way too many times. It starts with the parents of the boy interscepting with their son's life, threatening and claiming that they're only doing it to protect their son. Even though I can understand a bit why they're doing it, I'd still refuse to understand it because everyone carves their own life and their own plans. Just as Nixon is supposed to do.

Being travellers for your daily job is a dream come true for me and I can definitely relate this aspect with both of them. Doing what they love, pursuing it and actually living it - I just can imagine it. It's beautiful.

As much as the author can't wait to move on from this beautiful set of stories, I'm in it with her too. I really look forward to discovering and reading more of her works as I think I'll always be.

What the perfect ending to an enjoyable series!
I went into Rater Be just wanting to read a few chapters but couldn't put it down and ended up finishing it in one sitting!
The characters are so well written. I felt like a really knew them.
I wish I had a friend Charlie. She was so much fun! And Nix was so relatable. It was so amazing to see all the characters from the previous books in this series.
Reading this book was an absolute breeze. I never felt like it dragged and it never felt rushed. It made me laugh, smile, and swoon! .
This book was not simply a story to be enjoyed but contained such a strong message. You have to chase you dreams. You have to MAKE them come true.
Rather Be was an inspiring book. I loved it.

I love this series, the author manages to capture each moment perfectly. It purely wrings the emotions out of me.
Charlotte (Charlie) meets up with her old friend Nix (almost boyfriend) from high school. They parted suddenly 4 years ago and were both broken hearted. I kept saying for goodness sakes tell him why..tell him. But knew if she did the story would be over. Charlie and Nix were opposite in personality but complimented each other so well. We knew they were meant to be.
I was glued to my kindle reading this entertaining story. The story was beautiful and at times raw, I know I was teary at one point. The characters were believable and likeable and I still wanted more. Great ending for these two.

Awww young love. Best friends who never wanted to admit their love for each other only to be torn apart because of life's twisted ways.
Heartbreak right?
I really enjoyed reading this story. Nix and Charlie were complete opposites who brought out the best in each other.

Love is tough. Young love is the hardest because you haven't learned about life yet.

In this story we get to see what love looks like and how true love let's you be the best version of yourself!

I love the music aspect in this book. I would catch myself singing the songs that were written in here.

This was just a really sweet story that at times had my heart in my stomach.

This cover is EVERYTHING!!!!!

What a wonderful book! Once I started this book I could not put it down. Ms. Pearl writes with such clarity that her characters seem to practically come alive right off the page. I could feel all the heartache that Charlie and Nixon both went through. It was as if the pain was mine own. Now that I have read this book, I am definitely going back to book one and read the whole Songbird series. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a HEA but also to anyone who enjoys a very well written novel. I received this book free as a ARC. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review

It's exciting being able to release a book on your birthday :) And if I'm going to release any book, then I may as well pick one that made me laugh, cry and get fizzy bubbles popping inside of me while I was writing it.

I love Charlie and Nixon so much. This second chance story has been with me for many years and finally getting it out was such a joy. These two have an emotional journey to reach their HEA, but it makes the impact of those final moments so much sweeter.

If you choose to read the book, I really hope you enjoy it. And I hope you love the music too. This is one of my favorite soundtracks out the entire Songbird collection :)

I really loved Charlie. She is a free spirit that marches to her own beat. Charlie and Nixon are great together and, even though there were sad moments along the way, I enjoyed their adventures as they traveled from New York to California on a spontaneous road trip.

Four years prior, something caused Charlie to leave without saying goodbye and both Nixon and Charlie were heartbroken. I was sad for all the years that they missed out on due to unfortunate circumstances. Even after they were reunited, Nixon's relationship and the hurt from Charlie's departure caused roadblocks to finding their true happiness again.

I loved that the couples from the other Songbird Novels were a part of this final Songbird Novel.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy.

What a beautiful send off to this epic songbird series. Firstly, music is the backgound soundtrack to most of our lives. Hearing a certain song can immediately transport us back in time to a special place. I felt this throughout the whole book on a personal level with some of these songs.

Next, young love. People always say your first crush is just puppy love, but how many can attest to finding their soulmate in highschool and ending up happily married for years down the track? Unfortuntely for Charlie and Nixon they were torn apart after highschool when Charlie left without a word and they have not seen each other for four years. A random off chance snow storm finds them both stranded in a NY airport and Charlie tries to make amends by offering up a roadtrip back to LA.

Roadtrip, oh this trip broke my heart. You want to see them reconnect and get their second chance, but fear holds them back. Charlie does not want to ruin family bonds and Nixon is still really hurt and has a girlfriend. They agree to be together once he breaks up with her.

Yes man. I also know this feeling from personal experience. Wanting to please everyone by being a yes man. It is the cowards way out and people pleasing will leave everyone happy around you but yourself. Nixon finds this out the hard way.

Beautiful epilogue. Bought a huge smile to my face, thankyou for the wonderful cameo appearances from our past songbird couples. The travel element was just perfect. Absolutely loved this.

I literally just finished this story minutes ago, but I could not wait to write up my review, so please bare with me just incase it sounds a little gibberish.

SO… Where do I even begin? I am literally speechless after finishing this magnificent book. I sadly must admit that when it came to finishing I was dragging my feet because I did not want this series to end. I have been following the Songbird series for years now, ever since the release of Fever, and it was a bittersweet moment to see it come to an end. Throughout the years whenever I needed a good cry or laugh this was my go to series because Melissa Pearl has managed to create something that makes you cry, laugh and smile all at the same time.

Rather Be was without a doubt the PERFECT send off novel for the Songbird series. Although these books are considered to be standalones, they’re all connected together in some way and are essentially set in the same world, a world that is intertwined from book to book. I have to say that it was exciting to see a ton of appearances from the previous SONGBIRD couples. This story blew way beyond my wildest expectations, which I will happily admit happens every single time I finish one of her stories. Melissa Pearl really knows how to surprise her readers every time and keep them on the edge of their seats in anticipation.

Charlie and Nixon’s story is a second chance romance about two people who were meant to be, but obstacles continued to stand in their way. Right from the start my attention was captured and I knew that this story was going to be epic. I absolutely adored how Melissa introduced us to these two amazing characters in the crowed airport where they find themselves grounded due to a freak snow storm…in the spring! While Nixon is anxious to get home, Charlie wants to extend their reunion by suggesting a road trip back to LA. I mean come on it was the perfect excuse to help them rediscover what they had lost only a few short years ago. Their journey is truly an amazing tale and don’t even get me started on the drama and that ENDING. Words can’t even begin to describe just how much I LOVED IT!

I guess since I don’t really want to give away too much of the story I am just going to leave my thoughts here and make sure to lock the spoilers away for some safe keeping.

There's No Place I'd Rather Be! . . .

If you're a fan of the songbird series then this novel will complete you. To say this novel is the grand finale of this amazing series feels like an understatement for how wonderful ending this story turns out. The couple in this novel takes a journey from their friendly past to separated present giving us a glimpse of mistimed love and exploring what or who makes you truly happy.

Finding himself stranded in a New York airport due to snow, Nixon Holloway would have never bet he would have bumped into his old friend from high school, Charlotte (Charlie) Watson. The two of them were the best of friends always together earning them nickname "Chix". So when their relationship changed from friends to more Nixon thought their plans for life after were set, but then Charlie just up and disappeared on him. Crossing paths with Nixon 4years after that summer was something Charlie had only dreamed about. Nixon was only it for her but it's obvious she left him hurt. In effort to patch up old wounds and rekindle their relationship Charlie offers Nixon a chance to get home by doing a road trip. The physical trip itself isn't what Charlie and Nixon are worried about, it's the emotional journey into their past and exploring choices they made that may make or break Chix.

Overall, such heartbreaking read and beautiful series ending. Charlie and Nixon were the perfect pair until pragmatic thinking, meddling and life separated them. I felt connected to both characters in seeing my wanderlust self in Charlie and then my responsible family first side in Nixon. It's truly hard to be both fancy free and grounded in life, so having the liberty to live in like they do in the end is a dream I'd love to live especially with my future husband (whom ever he may be). Now I think the other amazing aspect of this novel is how all the previous songbird characters were able to make cameo appearances. It was great to read about a pregnancy, wedding, a proposal and our past favorites getting on so happily ever after. I'm truly going to miss the songbird family, but super happy to have the novels to read again and again at my leisure.

10.) Rather Be (Charlotte "Charlie" and Nixon):

"Love can last a lifetime." - Cover

Maybe that was why I'd never had the courage to actually leave and travel the world on my own.
Maybe all that time, I'd been waiting for him.

"I'll always be yours. Being with anyone else just...We're Chix, you know?"
With a gentle grin, he took my hand and kissed it. "I know."
My eyes glassed over, my smile growing wobbly. "I'll be here waiting for you."
"Okay." He croaked, his face flashing with agony as he let go of my hand.
He hated hurting people. He'd be dreading going to see Shayna.
"Take your time." I stepped against him and rested my hand on his cheek, trying to ease the unrest. "I'm not going anywhere."

Charlie.
She always made me happy.
But being with her was also confusing--unchecked joy married with huge amounts of self-doubt that she'd get bored with me or spontaneously fly away on a breeze. I never wanted to be responsible for holding him back, which meant I had to let go of my own fears. My life had always been stable, certain. Being with Charlie meant I couldn't rely on that safety anymore. Would I ever find the courage to let go and truly be with her?

"They're the only family you have. I couldn't drive a wedge between you. They're your blood."
"And you were my heart."

--laughing, singing, and basically being Chix.
The way we were always meant to be.
Two best friends.
A whole wide world.
And enough love to last a lifetime.

Oh my god I so loved this book I have read the entire series.
And I can't believe this is the last book. Nooooo I don't want
them to end. They are artfully crafted books. The wonderful
way the music is weaved into such a well-written story.

I suppose if the series had to end she could not done it any
better. This story is Nixon and Charlie's story. But there were
cameos from all the other couples. It was so much fun
seeing what they have been up to. But I loved the music for
this book how it was like fate trying to tell them something.
I was so floored when I read why Charlie left Nix so many
years ago. I could have screamed, but was to busy baling my
eyes out. So be warned have tissues ready. You will need
them. And nixon may he needs to grow a pair. You can't
please everyone so you have to please yourself. Fate kept
bringing the back to each other. Let's just hope he realizes
what he needs to do in time. Before he losses Charlie.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you
enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book,
please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do; they value your opinions too

A remarkable ending to The Epic Songbird Series. Firstly, the music in the background added a special touch to the story. Even though we have seen this kind of plot before the author is able to create a peerless story. Charlotte (Charlie) Watson & Nixon Holloway story is about young love/first love. I loved Charlie's & Nixon's character's however I wanted to strangle Nixon at times. Charlie's free spirit is contagious & Nixon is so down to earth relatable you can't help but fall in love with their characters. With supporting characters that create compelling & captivating moments. A novel that will hook you in the beginning & reel you in till the end. With some laugh out loud moments & sexy spicy moments. With a perfectly done epilogue at the end. I needed a tissue box next to me while reading. I highly recommend reading this inspiring novel. I volunteerly reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.

I've been a fan of this author (or her "author ego", Jordan Ford) for awhile and admittedly, I haven't read much of the Songbird series but I LOVED THIS BOOK! Melissa Pearl just has a fantastic way of drawing me into the story. It's so well written, there's no problem reading this book even if you haven't read anything else from this series. I felt connected to Charlie and Nixon, they seemed REAL to me like they could be my friends. Charlie was quirky, fun, free spirited. Nixon was not a big macho, alpha hero, more like a sweet, boy next door type. They're totally opposite but yet they made perfect sense together. Honestly (and this probably proves what a huge sap I am!), I think I cried through about 40% of this book. I couldn't WAIT for them to FINALLY come together because from page one, I knew they had to be soulmates. This was an endearing, delightful, sexy, second chance romance that has found its place on my READ AGAIN E-SHELF! Told from dual POVs with an awesome ending.

Another wonderful story in the Songbird Series

Charlie and Nixon were best friends all through school when a camping trip after graduating high school changed everything.

In a snowbound New York airport 4 years laters their paths cross again. Charlie never stopped loving Nixon leaving him without telling him why was the hardest thing she ever had to do. Nixon has to get back to his steady stable girlfriend, so when impulsive Charlie suggest a road trip to get back to LA he isn't sure its a good idea but gives in anyway.
As they make their way across the country Nixon slowly begins to relies that he isn't has happy with his life as he first thought and that he's doing thing to make he's parent's happy were as Charlie just makes him happy but he's nervous because she still hasn't explained what made her walk away all those years ago.
At the end of the road trip though he's ready to walk away from his girlfriend but somehow he finds himself engaged to her instead and planing a wedding.
Will Charlie wait for Nixon to realise he's making a mistake or will she run away again.

I love Troy and Cassie's wedding scene - it was perfect and full of emotion

Another great story in the Songbird Series.
Charlie is a very interesting character and full of life, who spreads joy wherever she goes.
Nixon is a more closed character, having suffered great losses in the past who affected him and left him more reserved.
When Charlie and Nixon meet again after four separate years, their emotions get mixed up and old feelings re-emerge, but will those feelings be able to erase the suffering this separation has caused them?
The discovery of each of them along the way is very well addressed.
I loved the story and to know about some characters from the other books.
I'm only sad to hear that this story was the conclusion of the series.
I highly recommend this reading.

Rather Be is the conclusion to the SongBird Series and I know I am going back to re-read this series I have found all the books in this series draw you in and will not let you go until the last page is read. Charlotte (Charlie) Watson and Nixon Holloway where best friends in high school and then Charlie just disappeared from her life, now four years later they have reconnected. What happens when they decide to drive from from New York to LA as friends one last time? Will they see what they mean to each other or has to many years past?

A wonderful novel in the Songbirds series. Excellent writing and a poignant love story, as per usual from Melissa Pearl. Especially terrific is the great soundtrack and Spotify playlist you can listen to whilst reading - a great touch and so apt for this series of books. Whilst each stands alone, they are best read in order so that you can get the lovely story arc for all the characters (main characters in one book will be minor characters in the rest - everyone gets their own HEA in this series!)

My heart is so full of love for the whole Songbird Series!

This was the perfect ending to give closure to this series. As with all the other novels, Nixton & Charlie's love story was beautifully filled with love, tears, laughter, & music. I loved that we got small glimpses of the previous couples in this perfect ending.

Melissa, you have a created the most beautiful series I have ever read & each novel has a piece of my heart.

What a beautifully written conclusion to a series, Charlie and Nix's story will capture your heart and soul and take them on an epic journey. It won't always be an easy journey to be apart of as emotions will run high at times but it will be worth the laughter and the tears to see it through to it's well earned conclusion.

This is a second chance love story and was very good. The reader can feel the pain both characters are suffering, but the attraction still runs deep for them. So many emotions are at play here. Can they regain the trust that was so badly shaken?

I voluntarily read a review copy of this book and my comments reflect my honest and sincere opinion.

Story of first love and lasting love

A wonderful story of two you people that are best friends first then fall in love. There are twists and they part only two cross paths four years later at an airport where they are stranded due to a snow storm in the spring. Fate helps true love win.

It's another amazing read by Melissa. It's filled with adventure, and second chances. Charlie and Nixon's story is heartbreaking with a happy ending. You won't be disappointed when you read their story.
