Coming off the back of reading a book so poorly edited it fried my brain, I'm giving this one million stars for being well written and readable. This story is hot, gory and has a great original ending- all of my favorite things. Highly recommended, as Terry is sneaking into first place as one of my favorites.
Well-written short gory horror story. What happens when an unhappy business man gets to finally experience his dark fetish.. Well you have to read to find out..
This short horror story was quite a surprise. The author’s focus again is on hunger, drive or need to control. Hunger itself has an underlying meaning and he captures that well. Then we have the perfect depiction of OCD. Blood will pour, but we mustn’t get our hands dirty. What are the consequences once driven by this hidden fantasy?
John is a traveling man and always away from home on business. He doesn’t sound very happy and his relationship with his wife is very clear on who is in control. At the motel, after a conference, he does what all men do. When the cat’s away the mice will play. I don’t think pretty Charlene is aware that her actions will cause horrific reactions.
Yes, John definitely needs to hang that “Do Not Disturb” sign on his motel door.
Fetish and dark fantasy are the key to making the unhappy man happy. He needs to be in control, and the hooker that he calls to his hotel room was more than happy to play along, until she accidentally defended herself a bit too aggressively. The unhappy man's appetite is satiated, and he is the happy man. For now. But the desire to have another morsel will come back all too soon.
Well written and executed short horror story of a traveling businessman with OCD and a few other, hidden hang ups. This one was fun, if a little messy.
