I recieved camp nightmare from the Author for an Honest review. I enjoyed the writers writing and the characters very much. I do feel like this book even though its a short story could be better if it was longer.

Camp nightmare is about a group of friends who go camping every year together. But this time its different, its dangerous, its Deadly. They find themselfs at the wrong camp but dont think much of it . but soon enough they would realize that death is upon them.

I didn't finish this. I don't usually leave reviews for books I didn't finish, but I honestly don't understand how this has as many good ratings as it has. The writing is awful in so many ways!

There did not appear to be any editing. In the small portion I read, there were misspelled words, tense changes, left out words, and incorrect words like their instead of they're.

The author used the word blots to describe running in three separate places. WTH???? She also used optics for eyes. Ummm, again WTH?????? That one made me laugh out loud and I think this is supposed to be a scary story.

Then there were the numerous places where she would say something like, Luke blots back into the room his girlfriend was in, which he was previously in before. Yes, we know he was just in that room, partly because you said he went BACK into the room his girlfriend was in. We don't need the rest of the sentence. It's repetitive and clunky.

The characters are bland, uninteresting, and not unique from each other at all.

If this story hadn't been free, I would have asked for my money back. I don't know how it got published on Amazon.

I received an ARC in exchange for any honest review. I enjoyed this book, however it felt rushed. It felt too short. The characters didn't really get to develop fully. I enjoy short stories, this one just seemed like it could have been better with a little more length.

I received an ARC of this short story from the Author. I enjoyed the story, the plot, was good but some of the writing slipped me up. But if you like a quick read that will entertain you, this is the short story for you.
