Rate this book
She is history’s most famous woman. Those who come to her at their hour of need are welcomed with a mother’s love, compassion and care. She is gentleness itself to all who turn to her, save one: To Lucifer, the devil, she is an implacable foe.

Queen of Heaven is the story the battle between the angel who said “no” to God, and the woman who said “yes.” It is a battle that has flared through history to the current day.

Queen of Heaven is an encounter with Mary as you have never had before. Accompany Mary from her Immaculate Conception through her Assumption and beyond. Join her as she defends Christendom at Lepanto, frees a captive people at Guadalupe and heals a broken nation at Lourdes. Listen to her at Fatima as she predicts the rise of Communism—and watch as she defeats it through her beloved Pope.

Above all, discover why, though the battle continues, victory is assured to all who turn to the Queen of Heaven.

This book gives a good idea about Our Lady. When I am reading this book I really enjoyed the spiritual joy. The Author communicated his views with great enthusiasm. There are lot of aspects which help us to nurture devotion towards our mother. The different apparitions he narrated helped me to know more about these apparitions some of these incidents are really new to me. A good book highly recommend for anyone who wants to grow in devotion towards our mother.

A Rare 5 Stars

This book is an adequate introduction to one seeking an elementary understand Our Lady's role in salvation history but an excellent overview of her role in confronting spiritual evils as presented throughout world history. Queen of Heaven is an easy read (I will be assigning to my eldest children, current ages 11-15) with a richness of content that I would recommend to anyone interested in learning more about or growing in devotion to the Mother of God.

A comprehensive yet brief guide to Mariology

If you want to know what causes Catholics to revere Mary this book will tell you in a nutshell. It is relevant and up to date. Presented as individual essays you can read each as a stand alone or all together for the big picture. Much more accessible than reading the saints.

This is a wonderful text and a great reminder that our mother protects us from the greater threats in the world. The book does not go into too much depth with any one chapter, but provides more than a basic understanding of scriptural references to Mary as well as miraculous occurrences throughout time. There were certainly things I learned from the book!

Some may consider the later parts of the book rather controversial, for it is quick to pick the side of the Church in certain historical conflicts - as it should. If this might come across as a hindering bias to some reader, I would urge him or her to simply look at the facts that are presented. As stated above, the authors do not cite everything, but the information they provide from history and scripture are thought provoking in the least.

I think the authors make a very good argument for the place of our mother in redemption history and that such knowledge should be shared by all Catholics.

Before I read this book, I thought Mary's life story began and ended in the gospels. This book gave me so much information regarding Mary and her battle with the the devil and how she is trying to save souls. It was hard to put the book down, especially reading about how she appeared to Juan Diego, and her appearances to three children in Fatima. This is a very powerful book. This is a must read for anyone who wants to know about Mary the Mother of God.

A beautiful reflection on Mary's mission to crush the head of the serpent. I appreciate how the entire text is focused on examining Scripture and Marian apparitions through this lens.

This book read more like a textbook than anything else. The first half was all directly from the Bible which is not a bad thing but it is something that most Catholics already know. I loved the chapters that were explicitly about Marian apparitions. I wish the art was more inclusive and had fewer pictures of a blonde haired/blue eyed Mary.
