Rate this book
"Readers will root for the sympathetic Duncan [Luke] as he morphs into a more grounded version of James Bond or Jason Bourne." --Publishers Weekly CRISIS begins as the Arab Spring ignites. Duncan Luke is now head of the Bingham Intelligence Group, working with the frustrating and beguiling Ghislaine Bingham. His life is in chaos, Bingham's future is uncertain and grave danger lurks in the company's new oil investment. This is the second book in the Big series, following Big Beginnings. It is a story that is located globally and will have scenes in different places from the USA and abroad. It is life and death survival, mystery, suspense, blackmail, corruption and yes, murder.

I won an autographed copy of this book during a Goodreads giveaway. I am under no obligation to leave a review or rating and do so voluntarily. So that others may also enjoy this book, I am paying it forward by donating it to my local library.

I loved the second book even more than the first, and could not help myself from diving right into the third book, which will get your heart racing right from the start. The author has created a winning and enduring character in Duncan Luke. This trilogy is a great holiday gift and read. If you love authors like Michael Connelly, you will definitely like Greyson Bryan and, in my opinion, his five star worthy BIG series.

I read the first BIG book and so particularly loved seeing how the characters progressed in their newly-formed relationships. At the same time, if you read this book first, it easily stands on its own. Mr. Bryan's writing is fine-grained and evocative -- providing an in-depth look at the food, culture, social traditions and business practices of of every country his characters visit. A very fun and informative read.

The book can get a little confusing at times, but overall, it has a very good plot with a lot of twists and turns.

There was a lot of international travel and lots of twists and turns as investigations of corruption on a potential purchase were discovered.

Good plot, bogged down with details.

The plot was good, interesting and believeable. However, the story was bogged down with too many details unrelated to the plot. How many Armani suits a character possesses, the description of the color of shirt, tie or jacket with each clothes change or the brand of moisturizer one puts on slows down an enjoyable read. A reader that is focuses on fashion over story will best enjoy this book.

Thrilling business suspense novel that doesn't disappoint. I enjoyed the exotic locales and diverse characters. The relationship between Duncan Luke and his young autistic son was particularly captivating.
