Written by USA Today bestselling author, Cassie Alexandra.
Dom knew that he was in for some challenges when he became the new V.P. for the Gold Vipers, St. Paul Chapter. What he wasn’t prepared for, however, was a phone call from a woman, claiming that he was the father of her dead sister’s daughter, Ruby. Even with his psychic abilities, he never saw that one coming...
Meanwhile, the club seeks vengeance against the Blood Angels, the guys responsible for murdering their former president, Tom.
This book is related to The Biker series, but it concentrates mainly on the St. Paul Chapter of the Gold Viper's club. To find out more about this group, and how they became patched over by The Gold Vipers, you can read Phoenix Rising, by Kristie K. Shafer and Cassie Alexandra.
This story contains crude language, sexual situations, attempted rape, and violence. Is not suitable for readers under the age of 18. Please do not buy if any of this offends you. This is a work of fiction and is not meant to be a true depiction of a motorcycle club. It was written for entertainment only.
I choose a 5 star because this series has not failed me yet. The flow and ease to understand and capture what is going it. I could actually imagine everything like it was a movie. Lol
I loved everything about this book and i would recommend it to all my friends

I love myself a good MC romance book. But this book had twenty five story lines and seriously skimped on the romance. There was very little connection between the main characters and suddenly they have a HEA. This book left me scratching my head.
This was a really good story. Dom the new V.P. is badass but with a soft side which comes out when he meets Peyton and even more so when he finds out he as a six year old daughter. This instalment has the usual angst from a rival club, intrigue and a wonderful heartwarming story.
I really enjoyed Luring the Biker. It was well written and entertaining. So you may wonder why less than 5 stars. Honestly, it has to do with the heroine. I get it... she's never been exposed to bikers before. Many people haven't. However, when your biker boyfriend asks you to watch his daughter while he takes care of business, maybe staying indoors where it's safe is the intelligent thing to do. There were just too many instances where this supposedly smart woman does the stupidest crap known to humanity. Someone is chasing you? Don't hide... get in the right so everyone in the neighborhood can see you... including the person chasing you. Someone is following you... don't go to the one place where you have an entire club full of men who will risk their very lives to protect you. Nope, it makes more sense to go home and take a shower before your protection details shows up. Her actions at times like these remind me too much of the Geico commercial where the idiots being chased by a serial killer choose to hide behind the chainsaws instead of getting into the running car. What is it with authors writing women who have so little common sense? It's not sexy nor is it flattering.
However, that aside, the story itself is pretty good. It kept my attention and once I started I just had to finish it. The guys were everything you look for in an MC. Tarot was fantastic. In typical biker fashion, he knew exactly what he wanted the minute he saw it. He was determined to have Peyton the minute he laid eyes on her and this sweet-talking devil was not giving up. Not that she gave him much of a fight at all. It was actually very sweet. Her worries over him being in an MC were barely addressed, but honestly, the entire club was so polite and nice to her that her worries were all based on hearsay and rumor anyway.
I both read the book and listened to the audio. The audio was ok, sometimes the characters were hard to differentiate based on the voice alone, but everything else was on point. Of the two, I would definitely recommend the book.
Dom (Tarot) & Peyton . Different chapter of the Gold Vipers. So, it was a nice change of pace, but thankfully some appearances of the other chapter were part of the story which helped with the consistency.
However in this story I feel like I was missing some HUGE details. I'm not sure if Phoenix and Lily and Devon and Brass had their own stories in a different series but it read like we should know these details. Which I did NOT and felt lost. And then at the end Devon has a revolution with Gary whom just made an appearance here in the last chapter. WTF? Who the hell is Gary. I was very lost with so many details missing for me but I did like the psychic story line of Tarot and I liked him and Peyton together.
The story line with Blade also helped to change up the story arc.
As usual, rivalry between clubs caused deaths and mayhem.
This episode we have the patched -over Gold Pipers of St. Paul, formally Steel Bandits defending themselves from the Blood Angels. There's a wicked plan to use a doppelganger of the St Paul's VP to try and caused disruption and chaos in the newly reformed club. It's a romance as well as a drama, with heart stopping moments on both fronts.
Book 2 Sharp Edges by K.L. Middleton
This is a very disquieting story, for a young woman, befriending another woman in a park, leads to threats of death of those close to her. Plus, fifteen years of marriage is thrown away, by the man she believed loved her. Yes, very thought provoking, as to the young woman's own reactions to what is happening, now, in her world. An intense and dramatic tale, that kept this reader reading well past the time she would normally put her book away.
I have been a huge fan of The Biker and series and Luring the Biker was a great edition to this series. Dom aka Tarot becomes the new VP for the St Pauls Chapter of the Gold Vipers. In search of a new house Tarot meets Peyton and decides he wants more than just a new place to settle down in he wants her. As life starts to change for Tarot when a surprise is thrown at him in the form of a six year old daughter he now also has to deal with the blood angels seeking revenge on his club. This book has just the right amount of MC grit, drama and lets not forget the hot sexy biker to keep you completely addicted to this book and the series.
This one was a bit better than the other books in this series but it felt so rushed. Dom and Peyton met one minute and had a date that night that ended with them sleeping together and it seemed from that moment on they were a couple. He has to leave out of town to pick up the daughter he didn't know about and some shady shit is happening there and he just leaves without making them pay. Considering the man was just about to abuse his daughter didn't seem like what someone from an MC would do. I don't know if its just me or what but no one from the MC ever seems to make the enemy pay. It always comes down to someone taking care of their problems. The women fight harder then the men do.
I was absolutely captivated with this story and I had to finish before I put it down. Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book. There are big and small surprises, some you will see coming and some you won't, but they all help in making the story as good as it is. We see some old favourites in this book and it was so nice to catch up with them. This is one of my all time favourite MC series. I highly recommend this book and this series. If you are a fan of MC books then if you haven't read this series you are missing out.
This book centers around Dom - VP of the Gold Vipers’ St. Paul chapter - as he navigates the dangers of the Blood Angels (a rival gang out for trouble), a new woman in his life named Peyton, and a daughter he never knew he had. This is middle of the road. Average. Rival gang causes chaos. Boy meets girl. Girl is uncertain about boy’s association with a motorcycle club. Girl falls instantly in love anyway. Rival gang puts girl in danger. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. It’s not a bad book, just very copy and paste at this point.
I like the premise of the story. It had potential. But I felt as if everything was rushed. Because why would it make sense to help with his daughter after only knowing him for a few days? The different P.O.V. were good but once again everything was rushed so sense of building up the story and last the ending made no sense. I would not recommend. And the book definitely required some editing.
I enjoyed reading Luring the Biker, Dom and Peyton story was drama filled, love at first sight. Dom found out about a little surprise from his pass and Peyton learned that all the negative things they say about biker club are not all true. I definitely recommend this book.
Luring the Biker is another awesome addition to the The Biker series another group of brothers patched over to Gold Vipers with the violence and mayhem didn't disappoint. The second story is also an awesome story. Thriller and definitely keeps you guessing all the way to the end.
One can never say this book didn't kerp you on edge. It had bodies dropping everywhere. I'm still trying to figure out why one happened, one I understood. The suspense around hunky Detective Sharp was as intriguing as the plot. Strange way to end but it works, kind of, anyway.
I love how Tarot falls for Peyton and then finds out he has a child and goes to get her. Peyton really defended herself from Blade, not sure I like the dream.... Peyton had about being chased by Blade kind of made me feel he somehow might show back up even though I know he was shot in the throat as well as having it slit.
tarot dom has psyic powers and so does his daughter that he did not know he had she and he sees things happening in future he needs a house for her to live in and meets his realtor at place naturally he wants her in life but it is rough going for this romance with biker problems kidnapping murders etc but ends the way you want it to...another great mc story loved it
Peyton is the girl next door that makes Dom finally think he is ready for something more. Dom is the new V.P. and outsider that has a look alike out to get him. Throw in a new house and daughter he knew nothing about, life takes him in one help of a ride. Great story. Sex, love, drama, and brotherhood. Ready for the next book.
Peyton and Doms story is another great one in this series . It's a great read and I really hope we have more from them . I would recommend this book and series as I've really enjoyed getting to know the characters, and hopefully now that we've had Tarots book we will have more of the boys from his club, and definitely more from Tank and his guys .
I will say that it is probably a good idea to read the series in order. I did not and read book 7 first. I kind of got lost with so many names and several clubs. But I did enjoy the story. It wasn’t the best mc story but it was quite interesting. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger except maybe ongoing stuff with the other mc. I would read this one again.
Great story line and fast read. Love finds us when we least expect it. Twist and turns off each event and page Cassie Alexandra will surprise you with a true human with a heart.
Biker Clubs doesn't mean gang members and bangers.
This'd is definitely different than your usual MC books. Its a !little drawn out but that's OK in this case. My only complaint is that it seemed a little bit on the novice side, meaning the dialogue is stiff. Other than that its great!
Page by page my thoughts changed. It’s him, no him. Was it her. I knew jake was the bad guy then....... shows up and then..... I caught myself h9ding my breath several times. So, who dunnit? And what did they do. Hehe
Interesting storyline but I was getting confused by all the characters and their dual names. Could not figure out what the last couple of chapters had to do with the book. I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Lindsey and Jake are characters that keep on giving. I was on edge and speed reading throughout the entire book. There are so many twists and mysterious turns that you can't absorb one before another appears.
Wow these men just keep getting better. I didn't think anyone could top the Judge or Raptor but I think Tarot just may have with his house hunting ventures with Peyton to taking in the adorable Ruby and Chilly.
Great story line, horrible editing. Please find someone new to proofread these books and correct the errors!! The stories are entertaining, but the typos get in the way.
