I LOVED this storyline and I loved all of these characters. Great low ansgt read yet filled with some mystery and suspense BUT the focus ALWAYS remained on the love and if course, hot sex between all 3 of these couples"

Oh my gosh, I don't know where to start with this awesome book.......sorry did I say book?......make that four! Four novellas in one! Lawful incorporates Gia, Hunter,Julian and Jarrod. Now Hunter you may remember from the McKenzie Brother Novel Delight, where the hot US Marshal came to the aid of Rosie, Ruben's lady.
In Gia, Hunter is sent to babysit a pampered Daddy's girl so he thinks!.......but when he meets Gia, he gets more than he bargained for..........and he will do anything in his power to keep her safe! My days! This man! He melted my heart......as well as other things!
Gia's Father is a top Lawyer and has spent his career putting bad guys away, when this affects those close to him he has to rely on the Marshals to help keep them safe.....enter Julian......a close friend and colleague of Hunter's.........it's his time to fall when he clashes with Parker, one of Gia's best friends! Lord when these guys fall, they fall hard and fast!!
Last but not least is Jarrod, Gia's Father, who has been harbouring feelings for Ivy, Gia's other best friend. It seems as those feelings are reciprocated but Jarrod fights them, believing he is too old for her but when her life is placed in danger all bets are off!
Lord I loved reading about these protective, domineering alpha males and their soul mates. This author is pure gold and I am like a child on Christmas day when she releases a new book. Please go add this to your TBR!!

Would've been better...
Lawful has some good elements, and IMO the novellas would have been better as a full-length suspense novel. A trafficking case throws three best friends and three older men together. The trafficking case was so minor, but would have made for a better story and would have helped build the three relationships. Seeing as they were novellas, it was insta-love and the relationships don't get to grow. The men were hesitant about dating younger women, but out of the blue they don't want to fight their feelings anymore. Everything moved to quick.

This was an extremely enjoyable story and I enjoyed how all four novellas followed one overall thread, and the story itself really drew me in and kept me hooked throughout. Equally, so did the six characters, Gia and Hunter, Julian and Parker, and Jarrod, and Ivy. And I thought they were all very likable and shared a spark. Plus, each of the four novellas had plenty of hot moments, more than I was expecting actually. Especially in the case of Julian and Jarrod's stories as they are shorter than Gia and Hunters, but were still no less enjoyable. These novellas also had very little in the way of angst and the overall story did contain some suspense. Which I loved and I would happily recommend Lawful to others.
