The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.
At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.
But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.
Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.
Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).
After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.
Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.
She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.

I have to say that the Chronicles of Kerrigan and sequel are an incredible series. When I finished the first series, I can't describe how excited i was to see there was going to be a sequel series. Overall I have to give both series 5 stars. The only thing that bothered me was the ending. Yes, it's a happy ending, however, it's not the first series I've read where a character went back in time and changed something, nullifying the entire series. This leaves too many unanswered questions. For one, Simon going back and killing Samantha. Does this just split the timeline at that point? If it does, how did the battle turn out in the original timeline? Also, summing up what happened in the new timeline in one chapter was confusing and left even more questions unanswered. Since, technically, the events that happened in the sequel never happened, did they all get married and start having kids right after the battle? It seems that all of the trials they went through in Kent are what really made Gabriel and Angel a part of the group. Why no mention of Simon's sacrifice either? Since Simon died being the only one who know's what really happened, you would think maybe Julien would have had a vision or something about it. I have to say, I figured Time would end up playing an integral part of the series and the ending wasn't what I was expecting. But to be honest, if I was Simon, I would have done the same thing.

The book follows on and completes the series.
However - the end is so weak. Unbelievable in fact. I mean - the one person who saves the day has a tatu they’d no idea they had?
The ending wasn’t thought through at all and left me kind of upset I’d wasted my time reading the sequel series.
Also there was a change in formatting which shouldn’t happen in a series. I got left feeling the author had just wanted to end it.

Love this series
Love, love, love, finally drew a breath of relief. The gang too, there were a few tense scenes, especially with the two unexpected visitors, and then poor Julian. But happy things happen... a move, the royal wedding, sort of a normal life but now they do have to catch Samantha, before she does some irreversible damage. That girl is a menace.

This book had some light in the beginning where the friends were able to do a couple "normal things" before the darkness kicked in and they fought for their lives once again. it was another entertaining book in the series that always leaves me wanting more. as always it ended unresolved so I can't wait to listen to the next installment

I have missed Rae and the gang. This book did not disappoint, but then again WJ May never does when it comes to the Kerrigan series.
Rae finally has her life back after the Samantha saga, but Samantha is still out there.

Our Time Review
Rae and the gang are working for the Privy Council once again and are sent on a very important mission.
A well-written story full of suspense and plot twists. Another page turner that will have you on the edge of your seat!

Wow good book and unique plot, with another villain. Well made characters, romance, suspense and romance. Truly needs to edit these books the mistakes are annoying. Also could be longer.

Woah never ending
Woah, it's never ending what Rae has to go through.
She finally gets her life back through a lot of perseverance but that girl is still not going to leave her alone.
The bit at the end has me itching for the next book.

Well, what can I say? Another book from Rae and her friends finished. I really enjoyed this one. But not more than Glitch in time, sequel 4.
After everyone remembers a world with Rae again, things are slightly calm. They decide to move back to London, wanting that normal they've been fighting for, for how long now, knowing that Samantha is still around, not knowing when she'll strike.
They haven't come up with any plan to think about how they can prevent it, which is like frustrating.
Rae and Devon could've shared how they broke the spell and tried to get their friends to think of something of real significance to fight this kind of power. But somehow this all slipped their mind. It's like they forget what Samantha did before. Samantha made them forget that she was in their house, so obviously something like this would happen again? No?
Yes. Sigh. They just went on normal with their lives, not even thinking that Samantha will be out there to somehow jeopardise their plans or something. But no, thy wouldn't think rationally/logically.
Rae is so powerful, but I don't know why the author keeps dancing around the power Rae possess. Things would have been so easier with the tatus Rae have, but it seems the author keeps on somehow leaving them out, taking the longer way. Maybe she shouldn't have come up with the idea of Rae being able to pause time. Ugh. This makes it even harder to rate it 5. It was amazing cause of everything that transpired. Things becoming more clear.
Other than that, it was exciting to read. I love how their friendship has evolved. I wished that Gabriel and Alicia would also join the friends the way Angel as the girlfriend of Julian has. I'm sure having Alicia in their space would work wonders. But the author somehow removed Alicia. Only mentioning her, not literally having her around. Maybe since Gabriel is a mystery?
