> > Judging a Book by it's Cover < < Two men, a little older than most couples in this series. The seventh book in the series brings the entire cast back to support Adam and Dean so that their story may be told. Dean is Dusty's dad. Adam is Beau's doctor. Both were married, one widowed after ten years, the other divorced after much longer. Now in or near the 50-yr mark, they have the chance at love once again. The chemistry between them was immediate and often entertaining. Dialogue and interaction was strong and suitable for the given situations. The plot was dynamic and had several secondary things happening in the background. There is a tragic twist, so be prepared if you are a more sensitive reader and/or crier. Some new characters were added on top of the entire All Cocks cast. There were a few conflicts that were managed maturely and in a timely manner. Predictability was low. The conclusion was solid and satisfying. Adam and Dean are given their HEA and many others also find additional happiness. Overall, I'd strongly suggest reading this series from the beginning. Too many sub-plots would be deprived their true depth if you've not read the previous books. This is a strong edition to the series and one you'll not want to miss. . Rating: [R] ~ Score: 4.45 ~ Stars: 4.5 if I could

Stories that feature young singles and couples in their twenties and even thirties are what make up the bulk of what I usually read—primarily because that is the age range where the majority of romance stories are concentrated. So, when a story comes along that centers on older characters in their mid to late forties or thereabouts, it always piques my interest—particularly as I get older myself. The fact that Choices and Changes is part of the All Cocks Stories series that I already love is just icing on the cake. Author TM Smith didn’t let me down with this installment of the series, and Adam and Dean fit very easily into the All Cocks family.
While this story is not a second chance romance in the traditional sense where the main characters were together early on, split and got back together again, it’s more like each man gets a second chance at romance-and another happily ever after-with someone new after experiencing love the first time around with someone else and losing it for one reason or another. What the two of them have learned from their first loves made it feel like this time—with Adam and Dean—was comfortable, easily intimate, and full of much deeper feeling now that they have known love previously. It seemed like it was so easy and natural for the two of them to slip so quickly into their relationship as if it was meant to be.
The physical intimacy between Dean and Adam is incredibly intense, passionate and oh so very HOT. The two of them coming together-not just physically, but emotionally as well, seemed as simple and right as if they had always been together. I do love a good angst-ridden story, but when two people come together so easily like Adam and Dean—it feels more like fate which to me is just as alluring. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any drama or turmoil in this story…you will find that, and the cause is upsetting…but it does serve to draw not just Adam and Dean closer, but the entire All Cocks family.
I really enjoyed Dean and Adam’s story, as well as visiting again with all of the other characters from the series. They all really are one big, wonderful family and I love to see them grow with each book that comes out. Choices and Changes was a 4.5-star read for me, and Adam and Dean hold a special place in my heart simply because I can relate quite easily to them due to their ages. While you might be able to read this on its own, I strongly recommend reading all of the stories in order as they continue to build on events in the past books—it really will heighten your enjoyment of the story to read them all in the order they are listed. As with the other books, this one is meant for readers 18+ for adult language and M/M sexual content.
Choices and Chances is the seventh book in the sexy, fun, and meaningful All Cocks series. Each one can be read as stand alone. I have read the whole series and have loved each one. I met Adam in Live for Love as Beau's doctor. And met Dean at the end of Hide and Seek where he meets Adam. You do not need to read those to be caught up. You will get their full story in this one.
Dean was starting over. After being married to his wife for thirty years, they grew apart and have been living separately for the last two years. Now...he just needed to tell his Dusty. He also needs to tell him that he is bi-sexual. He wanted to do this in person so he was off to New York City. He expected to be shocked by the news. But what he wasn't expecting was to meet a man that could change his life forever. He felt like a teenager again when he laid eyes on Dr. Adam Chase.
Adam didn't know what he was walking into when he was asked to go to Dusty's apartment. What he never saw coming the gorgeous and adorable Dean Anderson. Dean seemed to be a little nervous but it was so cute. He wasn't sure if he was ready to date again even after it's been twenty years since his husband's death but when he saw Dean, he knew he couldn't just walk away. He needed to know more about this man. He intrigued him.
Dean and Adam spend time together and it's beautiful. Hot. Fun. They are also welcomed with opened arms into the All Cocks family. Which is one of the most important parts of their story. These two have to go through so much in a short amount of time that family is everything. So is love. Will this be Dean and Adam's second chance at a forever kind of love? What does Dusty feel about his father and Adam's relationship?
Overall...it's a wonderful addition to the series. I loved that it was about men in their fifties that were taking a chance on their each other for this whole love thing. It is one of the more emotional books to the series. To me anyway. It was also great to get caught up with the rest of the characters from previous books.
Quotes:
“You are an Easy-Bake Oven away from being a teenage girl right now, man.”
“I hadn’t been on a date since Ronald Regan was president until last week, so I’ve got you beat.”
“Can I get you something to drink, Adam? Beer, wine, bleach to clear away all the images that are gonna break the bank with all the therapy I’m gonna need?”
I'm so glad I just read the 6th book so it was still fresh in my mind, because this takes place along the same time frame as well as picking up right after the ending of the 6th book. In the 6th book, we met Dean, Dusty's father, and Adam, Beau's doctor and friend of group. For this reason, and the fact that so many characters appear who were in previous books, I definitely recommend reading this series in order rather than just start with this one.
In this story we first get to learn a bit about Adam's past and his previous partner, as well as read about Adam and Dean's first meeting from their POVs rather than Dusty's.
I really, really enjoy stories with older characters who get a second chance at love, and I really enjoyed Dean and Adam together. I thought that their chemistry was great and I really love how they become a part of this group of friends and family with the All Cocks members and their loved ones.
I don't want to give anything away, other than say that, yes...tragedy definitely does strike, so that raises some conflict and angst in the middle of the story, but everyone really comes together to help make things work for the best, and bring a happy ending for everyone by the time the story has come to a close.
I have really enjoyed this series, look forward to more!

This is the seventh book in the All Cocks series and I think this is my favourite of them all. Second chance at love, older dudes, kind of insta lust but leading to forever love – oh yes it had all the right elements for me to fall for these two guys.
Dean is the father of Dusty (one of the mcs of the previous book) and Adam is gorgeous Beau’s doctor. Both were introduced in book six and it was hinted at them being caught in clinches so I was dying to find out all about what they were up to. Hot stuff is what! These two were certainly passionate about each other and the intensity between them was scorching. The chemistry was so tangible it was heating up the kindle. I loved that they were older and wiser (mostly!) and they didn’t pertain to all that unnecessary angst and uncertainty. They knew what they wanted and they just went for it.
Both had been married before, Adam to his college sweetheart who had sadly died after a decade together and Dean had been married to Maggie for thirty-ish years or so. Dean had always known he was attracted to both sexes so there was no soul searching or any question of a GFY scenario.
This book brought all the characters from the previous books together, more so than the mentions in previous books so if you have not read any of the series to date you will certainly be lost. Even I was at times and had to pause and work out in my head who was with who and what their story was. To be fair though the author does reiterate these to ease the storyline.
Although the romance element was angst free and a smooth (and steamy!) journey the backstory was deep and at one part so heart wrenching it had me in bits. However through the tragedy comes hope and a wonderful happy ever after. I so love this series and the characters that I actually feel a part of the family. So rewarding and enriching to read, I always leave the books with that warm and cherished feeling. A fabulous addition to the series and one definitely not to be missed. Five stars.

The All Cocks story continues here in a bit of a different way. This time, it’s about two older men who we met recently, Adam the doctor, and Dean, Dusty’s father. Choices and Changes overlaps the previous book for a bit, but this time we are getting to see things from the other side. For example, we know from the last book that Adam and Dean meet when Adam comes to the house to check up on David after he was attacked. There are a few other events that are shown from Adam and Dean’s side as they occurred previously as well. I really enjoyed seeing it from this perspective.
Back to the guys though. Adam is the sexy doctor who has finally decided to let himself love again after losing the love of his life to HIV almost ten year previous. Dean is starting over relationship-wise as well after splitting with Dusty’s mom (they remain best friends which was a nice change). He is bisexual but it never became a factor as he was happily (or so he thought) married for years.
What I found refreshing was seeing two older men who felt an instant attraction and decided to get to know one another. There weren’t any games, no going back and forth about their feelings, etc. They clearly felt the same way and were enjoying their time together. One thing that was different here was that most of their sex happened off page, but it didn’t detract from understanding their feelings or how much they came to love each other.
I’ve been a fan of the All Cocks family from the beginning, and that family has grown quite a bit since then. They all come together here to support one another and welcome Adam and Dean into their family with open arms. There is some turmoil/angst towards the end, but the strong support system helps them all through. It is always great to see the other characters again and there are a lot of them at this point, but it isn’t difficult to keep everyone straight, who is with who, etc. I can’t wait to see where this story is headed next and look forward to seeing these guys again.

This is Book 7 in T.M. Smith's All Cocks Stories series. Listen, these books really need to be read in the appropriate order to really understand this story. The All Cocks series has a lot of characters, and they all make an appearance in this story. I've read and listened to the books in this series multiple times, and it's still a lot for me to keep up with everyone. I couldn't imagine the difficulty if you just decided to jump in with this one. And every story in this series is enjoyable and many will bring tears. An example of how these stories connect, Dean Anderson (MC#1) is the father of Dusty who works for All Cocks and Dusty's story was Book 6; Adam Chase (MC#2) is the Doctor of Beau who is partnered with Will, a former All Cocks employee and their story was Book 5. See where I'm going with this?
I knew a little about both of these MCs going into this book and was really looking forward to their story! They're both likable, sweet guys that you want to see find happiness. Nothing in this story changed that feeling. I learned a little more about them and saw how much they cared for each other and all of their friends and family. I loved seeing how their life was coming together, and how their relationship built so quickly. These are two men who both were married previously, they're adults that have no interest in playing games. They know what they want in life and are willing to work to get it. All of these characteristics are some of my favorite reasons to read books with "older" MCs.
What I was a little disappointed about was that this felt less like their love story and more a collection of stories about everyone involved in the All Cocks family. They were overshadowed by the everyday lives of everyone else, and then even more so by the tragedy that was written. I felt like I knew what was going to happen in this tragedy, and I hoped I was wrong, but sadly I was not. And yes, regardless of how I felt about this tragedy, I still cried when it happened because the author can wring a tear from a turnip with her writing, but I still didn't like it!
In the end, Dean and Adam found happiness, a house big enough for their boys and close to their new family. The many other characters in this story found happiness in their situations, except for the poor people affected by the tragedy, of course. This was another great addition to the All Cock Stories and we have plenty to look forward to!
Choices and Changes is book 7 in the All Cocks series. You could probably read this alone, but I suggest you read the series to better understand who all the characters are.
Speaking of characters, I love stories about older men. Dean andAdam are perfect examples. Dean is Dusty on of the All Cocks models father. He has recently divorced and moved from Texas to New York. He is bi-sexual, and his divorce and move is amicable. Actually, his ex is pregnant with her new boyfriend, and they are all good friends. Adam is a Dr specializing in HIV patients. One night Dusty and his dad are at the home the All Cocks owners and Dean meets Adam. They hit it off immediately. I love this series, and each book gets better and better. This one is a tear-jerker. Just as you think things are smooth sailing then Bam! Something happens that leaves you in shock. You get cameos from some of the other characters in the series which is always good. I love the diversity of the characters and how well developed they are. I also love watching some of them grow as the series goes on too. Adam and Dean are so sexy and made me swoon. The story line is interesting, and you have the romance between Adam and Dean then you have a few subplots. If you like a good tear jerker, older men, Drs, porn models, good comradery, a touch of humor and a great all over romance wth some hot man-sex you will love this book.
i really enjoyed this one.. good twists... the only issue i had was the names confused me at times but that is on me not the author.. i have a hard time keeping track of so many people haha.. it was well written and a very enjoyable storyline. very good
Dean did the unthinkable in his marriage, but it finally made him see that his life was meant to be spent with a man. So while him and his ex are still really good friends he sets out on a new adventure. Telling his son was the first step. In walked Adam and everything else just fell into place. Dean is the kind of dad that's always there, he's kind, generous with is love and is amazingly sexy for his age. He is a southern man at heart. Adam is a doctor that helps people with aids and HIV. He is also from South Africa so he had a sexy accent to him that you can not get enough of. He likes to help people. He is smart sexy and funny. He's been through some tough times already but that hasn't stopped him yet. These two foxes meet and things just go from zero to sixty fast! You can not get enough of them guys. You won't be able to put this book down if you are a fan of the series. I'm sad about the ending so be warned it will make you cry. Very well written and a good edition to the series. 5 stars.
I truly don't understand how the author keeps making this series better and better. I don't know that I would say that this is my favorite of the series, but it is up there in my top favorites.
Life is unpredictable and that is what Dean and Adam, Dusty and David learn most in this book. One moment everything is fine and the next anything can happen.
Second chances and love and life are rare and need to be cherished, which is exactly what Adam and Dean have.
Adam has spent years being married to his work after his partner of ten years succumbs to his deadly disease, while Dean is freshly divorced from his wife after realizing that they are no longer in love with each other.
This story is very well written, I read it in the matter of a few hours, I just did not want to put it down. And I can't wait for the next one already.
I WAS SO EXCITED for this book!!! I've been waiting since Dusty and David's book and yes! Adam and Dean finally get their story. and what a story it is - with all the feels! One of my favorites - an older couple getting a second chance at love. These two were well worth the wait. I've said it before and I'll say it again. TM Smith gets better with every book. And of course, love, laugh, and as always, catch up with the rest of the All Cocks crew where there is NEVER a dull moment!
I love this series. This book is about Adam that is a widow and Dean who is now divorced from his wife. Dean is the father to Dusty that we met in previous books
This series continues and we get to see everyone from the past as don't forget they are a Family. I love this family
So Adam and Dean meet and sparks fly. I love that it is a story of characters at midlife and getting a second chance of love. Boy do we go through some huge heart break and these two men are the rock for each other and the kids. I don't want to give away what happened but I cried a lot.
Highly recommended to read and if you haven't started at book one , you should
There comes a time in every man’s life where he has to make a choice between what is right and what is easy.
Born and raised in Fort Worth Texas by open-minded parents, Dean Anderson realized early in life he was attracted to both sexes. Equal opportunity, he picked his lovers based on personality and common interests. He met Maggie in college, fell in love, got married and started a family. And they were happy…until they weren’t.
Adam Chase’s mother is South African, his father American military working at the US Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa. His parents’ positions in the South African and American governments awarded Adam dual citizenship, and he attended University in America, at Berkley. In America, Adam is lives openly as a gay man, something that could get him killed in his mother’s home country. He met his husband, Patrick Carter, at college and they too were happy…until Patrick died.
Two lives converge, and it would seem fate is giving them each a second chance at happiness, together. Dean stays in New York and moves into the apartment his son, Dusty, shares with his boyfriend David. He and Adam are quickly welcomed into All Cocks’ vastly growing family. And then one phone call changes everything.
The men of All Cocks are about to learn that death is just another part of life, a road everyone travels eventually. Choices are made, decisions that change their lives irrevocably. They rally together, drawing strength from each other as their close-knit family experiences the best and worst life has to offer. But that’s what families do, right?
My Review ~
Choices and Changes is the seventh book in the All Cocks series. This is very much a series with the books and characters tightly interwoven. I highly recommend reading this series in order for the best reading experience.
I know I probably say this with each new installment in this series, but Choices and Changes has easily become my favorite book in the series. Maybe because the characters are a bit older and while there is a touch of angst in this story, the bulk is focused on Adam and Dean. Both men are in their 40's and have had previous marriages, Dean's ending in divorce, and Adam's as a widower. While they have vastly different experiences behind them, both men are very similar in what they need and want in their lives. Even if neither man was expecting the other at the time they met and started dating...but those are the best kind of surprises.
I really enjoyed that we got to see Dean and Adam's journey from flirty first meet, to first date, to smexy hot first sex, and to a solid long term relationship. There were no games between them, no huge communication issues, no white lies, and they didn't hide things from the other. Adam and Dean were just a refreshing walk through how a relationship should develop, at least for this reader/reviewer. That isn't to say that this book is angst free, there is a crisis toward the end of the book that changes things for Dean and Adam, along with Dean's son Dusty.
There is a lot of story packed into Choices and Changes, and we get to visit with the entire cast from the All Cocks world. I really did enjoy seeing everyone on stage even if it was for short snippets but it was fun to see the couples, and thruples together and happy.
This was a fantastic entry into the All Cocks series, and seeing everyone building the lives and families that they deserve is probably the cake topper to this particular story. I highly recommend Choices and Changes for a devour in one sitting kind of book.
After 30 years of marriage, Dean and his wife Maggie have grown apart and agree to an amicable divorce. They remain close friends, but Dean leaves his Texas home to join their son, Dusty, and his boyfriend, David in NYC. When David is attacked at school, William brings Beau's doctor, Adam over to check on David. When Dean and Adam lay eyes on each other, it's instant attraction for them. Adam has been alone for nearly 20 years, after spending 10 glorious years with Patrick, the man he loved more than life itself and who passed away from AIDS. Adam has spent the last 30 years being the best doctor he can be, but after losing Patrick, he's never wanted to open himself up to the possibility of love again. Not until he sets eyes on Dean.
I'm going to start by saying, I wouldn't suggest you read this book as a standalone. It's book seven in the series and the characters from the previous books play such prominent roles in this story that if you haven't read the first six books you'll be really lost. I've read the first five, and I have a hard time remembering who's who.
I've met Adam before, but because I didn't read book six, I was a bit lost with what was happening in Dean's portion of the story at first. I really liked both of these men. They are lovable characters and it was amazing to see both men open up to one another and give love a second chance. I really enjoyed the beginning of the story. I loved getting to see what Adam and Patrick's life together was like. It was interesting and I kind of wish the author had given them more page time. I'm aware this would have made the story much more heartbreaking, but I think it would have helped me understand Adam better.
While I liked this story I wish it had felt more like Adam and Dean's love story. I found the focus too often strayed from the main characters to the secondary/previous books' characters. Reading the book felt like reading an extension of the other characters' lives, rather than Dean and Adam's story.
The story was good, but the pacing felt choppy at times. It jumped from scene to scene and sometimes it took a bit for me to get my bearings and figure out what was happening. All in all, it was an enjoyable read filled with heartbreak, but also healing, love and family as well. Recommendable.

I’ve read every book in this series so far. Each one telling a story of fractured characters finding the glue to put them back together. We’ve dealt with so many serious issues, watched glorious happiness fall upon deserving characters, and through it all we’ve watched a family grow. In Choices and Changes, the family element becomes most evident. Dean, Dusty’s father, and Adam are the MC’s here. You saw Dean in the last book and there was minor overlap from then to now. It wasn’t repetitive or anything. It showed some behind the scenes stuff we only saw mentioned in the other book. I liked that. I also loved that the author is using middle aged characters. Adam and Dean are in their 50’s I believe. It’s refreshing because I don’t get to read, too often, older characters. I really liked Adam and Dean in the other book and that appreciation only grew stronger here.
There is such a dark element at work here in this book. It sort of surprised me but the reader will see it coming. You’ll find yourself stopping before reading the next page thinking, “If I don’t turn here it won’t be true.” But, you have to turn and you have to deal with all the emotions that go on.
It is in that dark time that we really see how big this family has grown. How much love, support, loyalty, and friendship has molded these people into an impenetrable unit. Dean makes mention to it and you just feel it. It’s not just, “oh, look, people.” It’s, “WOW all that love!”
Only issue I had with this book is the same issue I had with the last one. Too many characters with similar names. David, Dean, Dusty. Micah, Matthew. It actually confused me a few times. I had to stop and try to remember which was which. A break up of names would have made the flow better for me.
It’s a great series with raw emotion and tons of love!
Book 7 in the All Cocks Stories is different in a lot of ways but still revolves around the group of men who have declared themselves a family. This story is about an older couple who have loved and lived but are now ready to make changes to their lives.
Adam Chase found the love of his life at College and it was a case of love at first sight. He had a happy life with Patrick, his husband, until HIV took him from him a decade ago. Adam is a doctor who specialized in infectious diseases as a sort of tribute to his husband. A decade on and Patrick is still very much a part of Adam’s life – whether it’s just a thought, a memory or simply looking through his old photographs the love that Adam still has for Patrick is clear even if he feels he may now be ready to move on and find love again.
Dean is Dusty’s dad and is currently going through a very amicable divorce. His first job is to tell his son what is happening in his parent’s lives and his second job is to just stop and breathe and think about what he is going to do with the rest of his life. Dean decides to move in with his son and his partner David while he adjusts to his new circumstances and that is where he meets Adam when the Dr is called in to tend to David – there is a crossover in the story here from the previous book.
The love affair side to this story is pretty much angst free. They meet, they smile at each other, they go for dinner and they talk. They share their pasts and discuss their hopes for the future. They fit into each other’s lives so easily and smoothly – it’s refreshing to see it happen and it was also wonderful that the author didn’t make Dean’s soon to be ex-wife the awful over the top female as so often happens in gay romance books. Maggie was also moving on with her own new chapter in life and she was extremely supportive of Dean and by extension Adam.
The blurb alludes to a tragedy and indeed there is a whopper of a shock thrown in but as you would expect from this self-made family they all pull together to offer their support when it’s most needed. I’ve been along for the ride with this group of men from the start and my best advice to a new reader to the series would be to start at the beginning. There are a lot of men, a lot of stories and keeping them all straight can sometimes be difficult but is always so very worth it.
Choices and Changes is book 7 in the All Cocks series and really, I can’t stress enough that these books need to be read in order and can’t be read as standalones. There are a lot of recurring characters and most of them show up in all the books. Keeping up with them is not an easy task even when you know who they are, imagine if you don’t?
We met Dean and Adam on Hide and Seek, book 6 in the series, and from the moment they met, it was obvious they were attracted to each other. They are both older than the rest of the guys, had great chemistry and were just perfect and supportive of each other and Dusty and David, as they dealt with the aftermath of David’s attack and its repercussions.
While I didn’t quite see the point of a crushing event happening later in the book, it was a good example of how all these guys are more family than simply friends, having each other’s backs to help when needed.
Overall, the book was really well-written, perhaps less angsty than other of the books in the series, although TM Smith more than made up for it near the end. I would’ve liked to see more of Dean and Adam’s relationship and have less interference from outside sources, but it all had a way of working out in the end. Very recommendable!

I'm voluntarily reviewing a free advance reader copy I received from the author.
This is one of my absolute favorite series, and I continue to love every book that comes out. The All Cocks group is one big amazing family, and I love how they are all there for each other no matter what. We meet Dean, Dusty's dad, and Adam, Beau's doctor, in previous books. I loved the relationship Dean had with his ex-wife. It was refreshing to see couples divorce and still be able to be amicable and close. I liked watching both of these guys find a second love later in life. I admit to crying a bit during the book (there is one part that just ripped my heart out). I really hope there are tons more of these books. This family is fabulous.
This book/series has been pulled and is no longer on sale. The series is being revised and rereleased with new content, covers and a new series title, Stories from the Sound. You can find the 1st book for the rerelease here.... https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
Omg, what an amazing story! Choices and Changes, by TM Smith, is a gripping tale in her All Cocks Stories series.
First of all, I love romances between older men, and this one is perfect! Dean, who is actually Dusty's father, is divorced from his ex wife, and has his eyes set on Alex, Beau's doctor. (Dusty and David are in Hide and Seek, the previous book in the series. Beau is from Live For Love, Book 5.)
Before I comment on the couple, I have to discuss the amazing and hilarious relationship between Dean and his ex-wife. Their banter is fantastic, and this alone, would make the book worth reading.
Now, as for Dean and Adam, just yum! They are such an endearing couple. Adam lost his lover years ago to AIDS, and has been alone since, so both men are newly moving on from their pasts, looking for a second chance at love.
As with the entire All Cocks Stories series, we get appearances by tons of the already introduced and beloved characters. During the course of this series, I have come to appreciate this unique and wonderful hand-picked family. And it's always fun to catch up with them in the new books.
But, omg, the tears! As with the other books in the series, this one will tug at your heart-strings and just leave you reeling.
In the end, however, the All Cocks family comes together to overcome the tragedy that strikes, and Adam and Dean are able to find their happy ending. Oh, and of course, you'll get some glimpses of their sizzling sex life!
Thank you TM Smith for this amazing series. Your All Cocks Stories are truly a fantastic and addicting world of some extremely memorable men. I know I will be reading Choices and Changes, as well as the rest of the series, many more times!
For anyone who hasn't read this series, do yourself a favor and do so now. They are just perfect! When all the tears have been shed, you will be thrilled to have read about all these men!
Probably the best book in the series (so far if there are to be more that is). The story centres on Adam (Beau's Doctor) and Dean (Dusty's father) which in itself is amazing as it is rare to find many books with older gay characters as the main protagonists and as such it was a refreshing change to read a love story about mature individuals instead of youths agonising over their orientation or twenty somethings leaping from bed to bed! Both Adam and Dean are interesting characters and really well written. I must admit that I definitely would not complain with an Adam my life (loyal and suportive to a fault) - just like Victor really but less abrasive. The biggest plus point of this series (All Cocks) is that none of the characters disappear entirely from the story but it is an ongoing tale with differing characters taking centre stage in each book but with all the other previous characters taking supporting roles, sometimes I have to admit that I had to think at times who the odd character was but it certainly kept the previous stories fresh in the mind. I really enjoyed this book, both sadness and humour balancing out nicely with a HEA to round it off 5 star read (only if you know the characters from earlier books), otherwise 4 stars.
This whole series is amazing! It sucks you in and before you know it each character holds a place in your heart! Each so different yet not. Each so many feels. This one especially! Make sure you have kleenexes next to you! I was mad, sad, bawling, happy and just everything! After I got over hating the author and finishing the book I decided I once again love the author and everything worked out in its own crazy way. Dean and Alex may be my favorites but then again I seriously love them all and it’s so hard to decide! I will however need a random little update book sometime down the line about them all! 😉
Choices and Changes is the seventh book in the All Cocks Stories series by T.M. Smith. This was an emotional read for me, I needed the Kleenex next to me at a few spots. Between the second Chance at love story that occurs between Dean and Adam, and the other happenings of the extended All Cocks family... this story had me feeling the feels. Cry, laugh, sigh and smile... I adored these guys and their stories and feel this book actually is the best of the series. I loved it.
I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
This book had me crying like a baby! I've read the other books in this series and I like that each book centers on a different couple but you get to see all the characters from previous books. I also like that this book paid special interest to family as do all the books in this series. This book is a really good read with a second chance theme with a hot sexy older couple.
