I finished this book yesterday and it is still replaying in my mind, which is kind of appropriate given its themes of dreams, time travel and reincarnation. There is no review I could give that would do this amazing tale justice, in part because the ending touched me in such a profoundly deep way I have no words for its impact.

Though I sometimes had issues with some of the decisions the main character makes and how he justifies certain things to himself, I found myself (and still do) liking him. In matters of character, plot and depth, this is not only the best sci fi book I have read in many, many years, it is one of the best books, period.

I came for the time travel (and it does not disappoint at all on this level, making you think to the point your head hurts) and stayed for the beautiful and complex emotions that make this an unforgettable and very special read.

I couldn’t put this book down. The characters—Wendy, Myra, and especially TJ—stayed with me long after I finished. The story kept surprising me, and I was completely shocked at more than a few parts. The ending absolutely floored me—in the best way possible.

It gave me the happy ending I didn’t even realize I wanted.

It’s emotional, clever, and satisfying—a story about time travel, yes, but even more about love and sacrifice.

Fresh take on time-travel!

I have this 5 stars because it is a refreshing, fresh take on time-travel and the associated romance. I was so drawn in, I read it on one sitting. This one ignores the tired tropes, but it's just as satisfying all the same. You won't be disappointed!

I loved it and it would've been better if the last chapter wasn't in it.

I also felt the ending with T.J. wasn't good enough. The rest of the book was good thought and I couldn't stop reading it, but the ending was so so.

Time Travel for Love and Profit

To travel or not. To change history or not. Who will win time or you. Would you want to own such a watch to travel? Could you get rich with stocks? Would your one true love love love you and what would the chances be? Would you even be born if history was changed. If you were born again would you make the same mistakes again? The only way to find out is to read this book.

I actually have not finished reading this book yet but its so good I just had to share. If you read a lot you know that it gets harder and harder to find a "really good" book. You really have to put time into filtering and looking for even a decent read. Then out of the blue - you hit the jackpot. That's what this book is. So surprisingly good at every turn. I really enjoy the author's voice and style of writing. This is a great story and I am loving every second of it.

I'm not good with reviews, but I'm lying here in bed after just having finished it and my mind is reeling. I'm slowly putting it all together and what it means. Things coming together and slowly making sense.

I honestly don't know what to say, but I recommend this book. This feeling I'm having after finishing it is why I love reading.

Head Spinner

Keeping track of where, when, and occasionally even who the characters are is just part of the fun. Loved it.

Well, this is the first book revue I've done in a while. Not that other books haven't interested me because they have, but this one is awesome. This book made me think more about the paradoxes of time travel than any other. I suppose that ok, I time travel back in time today 25.10.25 to 25.09.25. Now that's the moment I do it. So, on 08.11.25 I time jump back to 25.10.25 just before "first me" travels to 25.09.25 and then travel with him to 25.09.25. Now, how many "Me's" are there when I get there. technically there'd be three of us in one place. The mind boggles as did Jeff Abugov's book. One couldn't help but like TJ and the rest of the cast. (What a great TV series this would make) I loved every bit of it. Great storyline, great characters, a hint of fun, and filled with pathos, warmth and love. Not since Audrey Niffenegger's "The time travellers' wife" have I enjoyed a book so much. The last few pages, well, get ready to be blown away.

The adventures of Marty Mcfly meets “The Reincarnation of Peter Proud”

Great story fueled by phenomenal Writing! Jeff Abugov knows how to win an audience with great character development, ent and spine-tingling narrative. I could not put this book down! (And yes!!-am contemplating re-reading it and experiencing the thrill all over again.) This story takes the temporal “grandfather paradox” to a whole new level. The main character,T.J., not only comes to find himself in the posession of a time travel device, but winds up interacting with his own past-life in another body. As in any great story, love and obsession lead to complications through which all the key characters grow and develop. Read this book and you’ll be swept away and inspired!

Time Travel for Live and Profit is a clever, fast-paced, and genuinely fun read.
Jeff Abugov blends sharp humor with an inventive premise, delivering a story that’s both smart and wildly entertaining. The characters feel alive, the dialogue snaps, and the plot keeps you hooked while never taking itself too seriously. It’s the kind of book that makes you grin while also admiring how tightly it’s put together. Highly recommended for anyone who loves imaginative sci-fi with heart and wit.

Woke slop

Unapologetic anti-white racism on display in the opening pages. Cringe inducing "couth" main character who shows a homeless man how to steal and get away with it regularly. Blech.
Read The Pages of Time instead. Excellently crafted time travel story, I got it from Bookbub

TJ's blatant disregard for the space time continuum never failed to impress! The author has become my go to for summer reads 😁
I loved loved loved zombies vs aliens(....) I went looking to see if he had any more out and this did not disappoint.

I liked the voice, but it got to be a bit of a repetitive slog, so I skipped a bunch of chapters in the last half of the book and jumped to the end.

Can not put it down, makes you suspend all belief, grabs you with the first sentence. My criteria for a great book. This book nails all three! Just read it, you will not be sorry.
