Christmas is a magical time around Sodor and this book's illustrations and fun (and numerous!) flaps show us just how magical it is. No one is left out at Christmas, and while I could guess some of the stuff behind the flaps, there were plenty that I was surprised by. The kiddos spent more time on the flaps then listening to the story, so I didn't focus much on the words. There are so many flaps to search for that reading the story isn't even too important. The still get plenty out of it and have lots of fun.
