“I asked you if you'd maybe go out with me tomorrow night and you said, 'sure', and I said, 'uh, like a date, maybe?' and you smiled at me and said, 'sure'.”

Joking around with her plus one at the wedding reception of her bff/unrequited love Rachel, Nic gives a speech to the audience of one, imagining what she would say if it were her who Rachel had married today. But has Rachel accidentally heard her speech and is it really unrequited love? We get to see it all from both the MCs point of views.

This one gave me ALL THE FEELS. There was a little angst and a lot of laughs. Nic's weapon of choice was self deprecating humor, so of course I loved her instantly. And Rachel was very lovable and sometimes super relatable. There were so many squeal worthy moments!!

MS. Taylor strikes another home run!
You know the song 'Twenty-Five Minutes Too Late' Well, this story is the opposite version of the song.

The h did get married, but during the reception while she was searching for her best friend, Nic aka the other h, she overheard Nic delivering a wedding speech in private. The speech opened up a can of undeniable feelings and emotions in Rachel's heart and she began to review the 1O years of friendship with Nic.

After analyzing everything, she needed to have
'the talk' with her husband, but before she could open her mouth, he told her to go and get Nic and that was what she did.

The moment Rachel walked into Nic's hotel room, it was like an independent's day firework show. They talked, argued, they did their unique silent conversations, made love, made naughty love, confessed and it was absolutely brilliant.

I highly recommend this book, this book is unavailable on Scribd / available on KU. Kindle price is USD2.99

4.5 Stars rounded up to 5 Stars. Initially I was going to give it 4 Stars as I try to be picky with my 5 Stars, especially novellas. But as I wrote this review, I realized just how much I loved this story.

I’m glad I started reading this novella without checking out the author’s other books - because I might not have given it a fair shake, if I’d start it at all. Because I really disliked Remember Me. It also helped that I got hooked right away.

It opens at Rachel (Rach) & James’ wedding reception. Nic is outside with her plus one date, Thad. They are discussing terrible wedding speeches. Nic starts giving the speech she would give if it was she was marrying her BFF and not James. When she is done she hears Rach’s voice behind her, telling them the wedding speeches will be starting. How much had she heard?

The story alternates points of view between the 2 MCs, Nic & Rach. I really liked this love story and the two MCs. The problem I had with Remember Me was that I disliked the main character who was the only voice in the first person narrative.

I highly recommend this love story.

“All for You” was really sweet and fun, with really tender sex scenes…and yes, a toaster oven was awarded! The book alternates MC POVs with each chapter, and I really liked being able to see each MC from both viewpoints.

Rachel’s wedding and wedding night did not go exactly as planned after overhearing BFF Nic giving an impromptu wedding speech to the woman she loves. Very little angst (yay!!) and lots of love. Wish I’d read this earlier….it’s been in my KU collection for far too long….but…sigh….no audiobook (too short for that unless part of a collection, I suppose).

5* for a very heartwarming story.

Oh yes, this was good. No, this was fucking great! Another author who's books are as rare as hen's teeth but so good you wish you could fill a whole bookcase with them. It is well written, rich in detail and we get to see the story told from both points of view. Together with "Remember Me" these two books are quite a treat. And definately to be added to the Pwoarrrrr shelf (if I had one ;-) Don't miss out! And please Bryce Taylor, with a talent like this you need to keep writing lots and lots of these gems <3

This is a great read. A simple story where best friends discovered that they are meant to be together, only on the wedding day where one of them marries. Bryce Taylor delivers this simple story beautifully with grace and strong command of the language. A novella not to be missed!

Sweet romantic story. Funny sometimes. Lovely characters. Still only 3 stars because I didn’t like the repetition that was a consequence of telling the first part of the story from the viewpoint of each of the main characters.

Thanks again to my Goodreads friends for recommending this novella. It was very sweet and quickly paced. Even though it was short, as Novelas are, I still felt like I knew the character's personalities well. Both of the MC's were completely likable. And let's not forget about the sex scenes....mmmmm nice.

After reading this author’s other work, and now this one, I’m noticing a trend in how Bryce Taylor likes to end her books…with a lot of steam.

I liked ‘All For You’ more than the author’s first book, ‘Remember Me,’ but I think that’s because I liked the characters better in this one. This is, however, still written in the same sort of voice and the writing style may not be for everyone.

This book starts at the reception of a wedding and, luckily, we get to experience this story from both character’s POV. I thought this was a really good move for this particular story because there’s no guessing what either of the MCs is thinking. For a somewhat short book, the reader is given a lot of background information on how these two met and how they’ve felt about one another through their 10 year relationship. There is some overlapping in the storyline, but even that was well done because it enhanced the readers connection to both characters by enabling us to understand where each is coming from while they’re going through some sticky situations together. I sympathized with both.

My original thought was to steer away from this one because of the wedding scenario, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. For a story about someone (Nic) who is in love with her best friend (Rachel) who just got married, this is relatively drama free. 3.5* again, but this one I am bumping up to 4*.

A quick, supersexy and surprisingly sweet read. The banter between the main characters was great and the only thing that stops me from giving this a higher rating is the amount of inner dialogue. It was a little too much for my taste. This is a great read for someone looking for a book with very little angst and some very steamy scenes.

I'm...I'm absolutely wonderfully scandalised by such sexy descriptive writing. I'm clutching my pearls whilst unable to stop reading. SO good. TOO short. Just...YAS! (A novella that's too short) ;)

Detailed score: 4.5

Similar stream of consciousness view point as Remember Me -- even richer from the alternating viewpoint of the two leads.

Pwoarrrrr scenes are *fans self* although they do take much of the last third of the novel if not a little more which some readers may find a bit OTT . Some may also find the obstacle to togetherness resolved just a little too easily (although I don't think the book would have been made better had this been drawn out into a longer piece).

Overall though, really happy to have discovered this new author. Highly recommended.

I took this book because all the good reviews. I mean, it has more than 4 stars of rating. So, i'm kind of disapointed. It's not a bad book. But i didn't love it. I liked the writing and the characters were very well written and constructed, even though the book is small and there was no room for getting to know them better. Maybe that was what i'm missing in this book. Either way, good book. Short and sweet. 3.5 stars for me. But read it and judge yourself =)

I don't normally like the POV parallel stories that switch charters every other chapter because in the end it's a retelling with inner dialog thrown in. What made this one good was the date fantasies and that you really got to know how Nic and Rachel interacted with each other. My favorite was Nic and what made me like her even more where Rachel descriptions of her.

An enjoyable read

I liked this one better than Remember Me. Though still written in more as a stream of thought, it didn't drive me up the wall with over use of the period. It is told from both Rach and Nic POV and their chapters sometimes overlap in events which makes the read fun because even though they imagine scenarios differently, is roughly the same. I really liked this read and if you want something quick, enjoyable, and free on kindleUnlimited then this is for you.

According to Bryce Taylor's book All for You, It's Never too Late.

Best friends for the past decade, Nic and Rachel come together as Rachel plunges into matrimony with James. Nic arrives in London, after her flight from New York, for Rachel's wedding. She has been in love with Rachel from the moment that she first glimpsed the newly minted intern at work. By way of blackmail, she had herself selected to mentor the new hire. After years of coffees, drinks, work, play and living as closely as best friends can get, Nic has to let her go to be with James. Rachel goes searching and finds her rehearsing a wedding speech of her own to Rachel for her plus one. All of her unrevealed feelings come tumbling out and Rachel takes it all in.

Finding herself married to the wrong person, Rachel has the revelation of a lifetime. This very personal love story has two alternating narrators. The ache of longing for absolute connection runs throughout Taylor's short novel. The time frame of events only spans Friday to Sunday, but the story goes back and forward in time as the relationship between Rach and Nic comes vividly to life. The writing is top notch, with an minimum of typos. The story unfolds brilliantly in both poetic and contentious language. Words can do only so much when every part of your life is ready to implode. Somehow the story comes through crystal clear amid the exploration of feelings scary, thrilling, amazing and terrifying takes place. The writing is short and spare, but it's impact is bone jarring. I loved reading All for You.

A novella telling the story of two best friends who realise they are in love at a pretty awkward moment. The story is told in a way that I thought would irritate me: lots my introspection, scenes told and retold from both MCs point of view, whole chapters on daydreams and so on. But somehow it’s pulled off with such charm and aplomb that I just wanted to keep reading.
It’s a novella not a novel, so there is limited space for the story to develop, and this is where it lost a couple of stars for me. I like angst - when it’s fun like this. And I liked the sex - which is well-written and not dull. I just wanted more of the two MCs. More of their dialogue, more of their life together, more of how this was going to play out.
I would recommend this to anyone looking to fill a rainy afternoon with a few hours of reading fun.

I adore le angst, and established friends who are oblivious idiots in love and secretly pining for each other is one of my go-tos for those hits of instant-gratification angst (probably why I've been reading so much swanqueen fics lol). And this novella totally delivered and hit the ground running. It's concise but precise in where it needles you to elicit all of the feels and when to gut punch you with the angst. Loved both characters and the familiarity (and hilarity) in the interactions between the two friends. It felt real and very best friend-y, for lack of a better word. So. So. Good.

And for the angst-averse, it's actually pretty sweet after the midpoint-ish, so fret not for you can enjoy this too.

Fun read

It took me a bit to get into the book but once I did I really enjoyed it. Nic and Rach's relationship was very interesting to read about on both sides.

rep: lesbian mc, bi? mc

this probably would've had a bigger impact if it had more angst and ended the moment nic asked rachel if she wanted to go on a date like in her imagination. this was kinda just like the same story told twice from two different povs with a bunch of sex scenes towards the end, making it quite boring to get through

Best friends HEA by way of a rather inopportune marriage to the wrong person. Lots of remembered history but the story takes place over about 24 hours. A little more story covering the following days would be interesting.
