She was light in my arms, her head lolled over my bicep as I carried her with quick strides to the elevator. The metal rod I’d hit her with caused a knot to rise on the side of her head instantly. I crinkled my brows as I stared down at her beautiful face and the wave of her soft caramel hair, trying to reign in my anger.
The way she looked at him, cried for him, let his blood cover her…
It was too much.
She loved that man, but I was the only one allowed to have her heart.
Shoving the knife in his side, twisting it deeper while watching his eyes widen with fear was exhilarating, the best revenge I could get. The last kick to his temple to shut him up after I hit Jamie over the head had sealed the deal. He might have made it if he could have kept his mouth shut, but I doubted it. Watching the blood drain from his lifeless body after pounding him with my fist in the face felt too amazing.
That face kissed my woman. Probably in too many places.
He had to die.

"Hide will blow your Sherlock's mind into oblivion leaving you hungry for justice."

This is it my dear co-readers! What I hoped and fingers crossed after finishing Obsession, the first book of the Obsession series. Being surprised by the kind of story Obsession was, and afterwards, pleased for the change of scenery, the too much sweet love stories made me crave for a little change lately, I was counting that Hide would add more suspense and mystery into it, complicating more the storyline. And oh boy!!! I felt more hooked than ever with every passing page.

Finishing Obsession with a scared Jamie running away from Mitch, too many unsolved answers were floating in my mind. What happened in her past was still a mystery, which only flued me to find out what had happened. It was clear that Hide will unravel every little secret Jamie kept so far, so I couldn't miss it for the world! Moreover, being left with the sense of fear, I was impatient to see where the author would take the story after leaving me with the best impression for her skills. I sincerely can say, she catapults it at many levels above of what I was expected.

My fingers aching to reveal everything to you but I can't play their games, if you understand what I mean. However, I won't keep to myself the fact that at the beginning of Hide, the reader would view Jamie's closure with Mitch getting into a baby steps relationship with word "Love" floats above them. Finally watching her accepting her feelings for Mitch and let down some of her mile high walls, it warm-hearting my core, admiring her strength to finally decide to move with her life. Yet, don't expect a quick happy ever after! Jamie's life is going to change, after all the happiness, in a split of a second. Watching her world, she so hard create, crashing infront of her eyes, for a second time, was reveting and overwhelming. No one deserves that kind of life, especially someone who was urged to live it twice!

Rod, after seven years living into the shadows, shows his face with the most horrifying plan. The resolt was that everyone thought that Jamie was hiding from an unknown person from her past, someone who stalking her, letting Rod easily hide her from them. Yes, he kidnapped Jamie for good, determining to be his forever. His strategy was detailed planned in every aspect, from her kidnapping to how and where they are going to live together, plus to how he would manage to mislead everyone to find her tracks. Showing his best behavior to smooth Jamie's feelings for him, his patience and determinetion to make her love him again, Rod isn't an easy one to play with. He planned everything!!

The achiness in my fingers is still here but I'm keeping it at bay guys! Don't want to spoil more the story, so I won't reveal anything about Mitch, Nathan, Becca and Jamie's parents, all the people who love her and care for her so much. My hind for you is that Hide isn't written only from Jamie's POV, which is a welcome change and a helpful one, because helps to have a comprehensive knowledge about what is going on throughout the story. Everyone, including Jamie are showing their best of their character, strong and ready to fight for their love ones, making hard decisions and listen to their intuition, never quit from their goal, Jamie's rescue. However, don't expect to see a happy ending here either! Seek, is the third book of Obsession series, and only by it's title I understand that horrible situations are going to unfold there before the end. If I was hooked with Obsession, now I'm captivated by Hide! Can't call this series an erotic thriller but includes many similar scenes inside which, if you are into this genre, you are going to like it very much. I loved the interscribable, well versed narration the author made for both books, they never left me hugging through the story. Contrary, I turned the pages like a thirsty reader I am, fascinated and at the same time impatient with where the story was going. Hide is a gripping story until it's end, with breathtaking and, also, action-packed moments, any reader that has it in their hand would devour, asking for more. My recommendation for this book and the whole series is 100% guaranteed.

So until then my friends, grab your copy and what ever floats your boat (I suggest something strong), and start reading Hide.

Suspense at it brilliant best

HIDE
is Part 2 in The OBSESSION Series and it is just as exhilarating as the first part. In fact the author raised the bar even further with HIDE. There was more mystery and more suspense, which kept me totally glued through to the final word.

With OBSESSION concluding the way it did, my mind was full of so many unanswered questions. Jamie's past was still a complete mystery, will we find out what has her so terrified? Will her new relationship with Mitch bring her the peace and happiness that she craves so desperately?

Step into the picture Rod, a man who has an unhealthy obsession with Jamie. A man who believes that she is his. His emergence will, most definitely, change Jamie's life once again. He has meticulously planned everything from the very beginning. There lies the dilemma facing Mitch and those who love Jamie, how do they rescue Jamie from a man so apparently deranged?

Once again Ms Page ends her story on a cliffhanger. One that will instantly have you looking for the next instalment, SEEK. Again superbly written and brilliantly executed. Another highly recommended read.

And now this series gets even more intense! I am totally addicted to it, dying for the next read. I feel like I can't read fast enough, I'm dying to find out how this ends. Poor Jamie for what she is going through, everytime she finds happiness it gets ripped from her.
