I loved this one. It is not a traditional romance but it hit the spot.
Star is married to a gambler and her husband is in debt to the Russian Nikolai. To pay off his debt the Russian says he wants Star for one month in his bed.
Nikolai is the ultimate Russian billionaire. He wants what he wants and gets it. This time he has set his sights on Star and he has done whatever he needed to do to get her. This was a book that had cheating/infidelity (the heroine was married) but it was wonderfully written and the reader really got a chance to see Nikolai and how he became what he is. It was emotionally charged and the sex scenes were hot. There was a touch of BDSM but not heavy.
I highly recommend this one.

3.5 Nikolai stars
I was actually waiting, biding my time, for this story to sit right with me. Make no mistake, it was an okay read and I love the way Georgia intertwines dark with light, and she infiltrates the deeeper shadows into the storyline and in this case, those shadows pulled this story.
It's Nikolai Smirnov.
and he never mixes business with pleasure.
unless it's about Star - a beautiful young woman that spiked his interest two years ago, when he first saw her - innocent and vivid in a casino. The only misfortune was she was already taken. Married.
But what Nikolai wants, Nikolai gets.
The master plan took two years to unfold, as the story unravels, we see that not everything is what it seems. And even though Nikolai's interests were primal at first, he played the game using the weakness of one man to portray the truth to a young, naive and blindly trustful woman. A woman he thought he could get out of his system once he set his plan in motion. Star's husband Nigel made a gambling debt and he fell into a trap, and then he was given a choice of a payment and he never even blinked in offering his own wife as the means of payment.
All of a sudden, Star's naivety has burned her in an instant.
She sees no way out, their house under mortgage, her sick father's hospital bills, and she herself without an income, what other choice there is for her but to go to the merciless Russian to pay her husbands debt.
Only she never would have thought that the outcome of their "sex only" payment, would turn into something more. It's a two way game...and they both, Star and Nikolai would lose or gain...depending on the odds.
I loved Nikolai, but I didn't like Star. I couldn't get into their emotional connection other than the physical one, which was undoubtedly hawt and steamy, and that was one of the "breaking points" for me, I could overlook the "cheating" element, considering the circumstances of Nigel being a total prick and unworthy cheating asshole himself, it's just that without the strong palpable reason, i was left a bit displeased with only Nikolai as a shining star of a consistent, well portrayed dark player and Star's best friend Rosa, who unintentionally stole a spotlight.

This was really unexpected of the author. I was actually looking for some more logical, heart touching and emotional read of an an alpha but somewhat soft hearted hero and the heroine to actually die for.
Bht what I got was a really really stupid heroine who got involved with a 34 yrs old man when she was merely 16 yrs old naive and innocent girl.
The guy practically locked her into his own world and married her. Even then she thought him to be her God when he didn't allow her to study, do job and fulfill her dreams.
To top it all he gambled all of their money and his 'loving' wife had to sleep with the real hero of the story a.k.a the Russian Billionaire in order to pay it all.
To call it taboo would be an overstatement as it was kinda stupid and 'over-rated'.

Bravo my dear girl, BRAVO! Georgia has done it again! Nikolai and Star are simply delicious!
So let's address the elephant in the story. Star is married. It's not what you think and I can't go into further detail without spoilers. Not every debt can be paid with money…
Nikolai Smirnov, 37 years, former Russian mob boss and the owner of Ziggurat gambling club.
Nikolai is a dark, sexy and dominant alpha man who is on top of his game, taking what he wants.

Star Minton, 23, beautiful, sweet, very naive and super gullible, is living her life as an oblivious house wife. When Nikolai sees her and learns she is married, he sets out an elaborate plan to have her by using her eighteen years older paedophile husband, Nigel, who is a heavy gambler and a major sleazeball.
Nigel chased Star when she was only 16 and proposed to her at 18. When Nigel in deep into a gambling debt with Nikolai he demands payment in the form of his wife for thirty days.
Since Nigel has no assets to pawn against his debt he has no other possibility than to adhere to Nikolai’s demands, resulting into Nikolai owning Star for thirty days.
When Nigel confesses and the events following during her stay with Nikolai, Star finally gets the whole truth about her life with Nigel but still finds it difficult to untangle herself from a loyalty towards Nigel.
“Fuck it, Star. You want him. Go on, go to him. He’s in there. Tell him all is forgiven. The debt is paid in full. Take him home and go back to playing ostrich. You’re so fucking good at it.”
Billionaire Nikolai Smirnov, a man haunted by his gruesome past, use to getting whatever he wanted. He succeeded in getting the woman he wanted desperately but in the process was losing his much needed control.
After the epilogue, do turn the pages further and read the afterword for a more in depth understanding of Nikolai and his journey to get where he is now.

Oo My!! This was an AWESOME book! I have really enjoyed the majority of Georgia Le Carre's stories but this one is one of my favorites so far! It's the story of Nicolai and Star. It's a darker story, dipping into . It has several steamy moments and I couldn't have imagined for a better epilogue .

That was absolutely terrific!!! Gripping from start to finish and filthy on a level that I adore...You know what I mean!!!
Beautifully written as only Georgia Le Carre can write (I can spot her conspiracy theorist mind from a mile off!!).
The story is elegant, sexy and totally dirty (or rather DIRTY!!!) but as always, she keeps it real...or as real as one can keep a billionaire's love story!
Book 2 will be a drop everything read for me, I love this genre from GLC, she writes smart smut to the nth degree : )

5 stars It's not secret that I m in love with georgina writing , It's raw , deep , and in every book I m learning something new . Her ability with words is magnificent . Submitting to the billionaire have every aspect I love in my dark romance book : alpha hero , Innocent and likable heroine , drama . And I absolutely loved the epilogue , I always say book without epilogue it's like sex without orgsam it's not satasafitying .

I LOVED this book. Another hit for Georgia Le Carre!!!! Nikolai and Star are some of the best characters I have read in a while. This book sucks you right in and makes you take notices. I got upset when I had to put it down. This is a hot and steamy book, it pushes the edge. LOVED IT! I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

4 Sexy Stars
Since I read the sneak peek of this book, I was sold on this story and was so looking forward to have it.
Nikolai Smirnov is the perfect hero alpha, smart, sexy, dangerous, dirty talker billionaire...while Star is the innocent good heroine we all love. Their love story begins as a gambling debt that need to be paid, but nothing is like it looks...Nikolai is the master puppet of this story.
I loved the first half of the book, it was a 5 star read for me, while the other half was good, but a bit rushed and cut shortly, even their reunion was really short described.
I would have wished for the story to be longer and certains parts of the story to have their own space in the book.
Overall I loved it and I recommend it if you want to read a steamy sexy story.

What a great book. Have read a lot of books where the daughter was paying the debt, but never one where the wife had to do it! Loved how real the characters were. Had some tears for Nikolai's childhood. I'd recommend this to anybody.

Patience is a virtue. Dark and intense main character, Nikolai is cold and doesn't deserve love. Star, the beautiful, innocent and naive woman has to pay her husbands debts. They collide and it's explosive! Georgia keeps it real and believable. You are enthralled from cover to cover. Great read!

I have never been disappointed by Miss LeCarre since reading her first book. I wasn't sure how this book could have a happily ever after, but the author makes it work beautifully. I laughed. I cried. I cheered. I sighed. Definitely worth another read.

This was another sexy and exciting tale by Georgia Le Carre. Star is a young woman who is married to a man with secrets named Nigel. When his secrets start to unravel and he finds himself in a jam what is he to do? Enter Nikolai, the mysteriously sexy brooding alpha who will make Nigel an offer he can't refuse. Nikolai wants Star bad and Nigel's secrets will help him get what he wants. Will Star be able to forgive Nigel for giving her to Nikolai? This book was fantastic. It was a little dark, seductive, sensual, intriguing and thrilling. I was mesmerized from beginning to end. This author is blessed with a talent of writing stories that draws you in and keeps your interest between the riveting, steamy pages of her books. From the first paragraph of the story, I was drawn to the dark Nikolai. He appeared sinister, cruel, and unlikable, but then you gradually get pieces of his background throughout the book, so at the end, you come to understand his character completely. Alpha billionaire fans, you must read this unique story. It's compelling and so worth the night of sleep you're going to lose once you start:)

The heroine is just dumb and whiny and not at all likable. It was never clear why the hero was so interested in her. This is the third book by this author that I have read and I admit that I am just not a fan. The hero in this book (and pretty much the other two I've read) has had a very traumatic childhood and grows up to be a domineering a**hole. Some of the things he does are borderline cruel and abusive. The heroine is spineless and pretty much rolls over whenever he lashes out.

Georgia Le Carre has stolen my heart again with Submitting to the Billionaire. I was hooked from the very first page. I have read many billionaire romances but none with a plot like this. I found myself loving the characters minus one, instantly! It was completely unique with a air of mystery. This book brings the feels, it's a emotional ride to happiness. While also spinning a fine web between a erotic, all consuming and completely off limits romamce.
Star Harrington has a happy life with husband Nigel and is planning for the future. But when secrets come out Star finds herself tangled in a web of lies. It leaves her doubting everything, including the one person she thought she never would.
Nikolai Smirnov was a billionaire haunted by his past. He knew how to get and buy anything he wanted. But one purchase had him slowly losing his control. And to a man like Nikolai control was everything.
The chemistry in this book is off the charts. Its the perfect forbidden romance with a air of mystery that leaves you wanting more. And I loved the ending! It offers you a look into the mystery of Nikolai that you so desperately crave. Definitely one of my favorite reads of Georgia's. I highly recommend, 5 stars well earned.

It offers you a look into the mystery of Nikolai that you so desperately crave. Definitely one of my favorite reads of Georgia's. I highly recommend, 5 stars well earned.

OMG what an awesome story line Georgia Le Carre doe`s it for me with every book. I absolutely
loved this book. the story of a woman deceived by a man she`s adored since she was 16 now at 22 Star`s life is changed dramatically by the man she loves. Then there`s Nikolai Smirnov a sexy Russian
who will teach her husband Nigel a lesson he will never forget. I love these Russian gods in Georgia`s books and the Hot and Steamy sex scenes that they produce. You can guarantee when you pick up one of Georgia Le Carre`s books you just cant put it down until you`ve devoured it. The Chapter at the end of the book about Nikolai`s early life was a real bonus as was the short story

The plot is nothing new: wife repaying husband's debt by means of her body. But this one is a relatively good story. Star grew a backbone and built a career in the process while Nikolai found closure of his old torment (his little brother's death).
Having read so many, I have grown somewhat immune to (or, overlook) stalkerish behaviour by romance heroes. So, Nikolai's two-year planning/plotting did not surprise me at all. The flashbacks of his days in the orphanage were heartbreaking and painful to read, though.
One more thing: Knowing most of the "theme" songs, I was almost proud of myself this time.
A solid 4* read.

I have to say that I love this book. It was amazingly written and has a fabulous plot to it. The characters were extremely well developed. I loved Nikolai and Star. They were so good together and have amazing chemistry. I have to say at first I didn't think I would like Star's character but she is absoultly loyal and is stronger than she acts. I loved how the book had some drama, and mystery to it. This is definitely worth reading. I couldn't put it down until I got to the end to find out what happened. This is a must read and you will enjoy all the in's and out's of the book. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.

This was a surprising and interesting story.
Star is loyal to the point of blindness to her husband, but she is a good woman. Any man would be lucky to have her. And Nikolai wants her. He is Alpha and sexy, but broken. His past made me cry. He may think he is no good, but as her husband has tore her down, he builds her up. The way they get together is odd, and the fact that she's married made me uncomfortable. Her husband is a good liar and a bad man.
Submitting to the Billionaire was dark and sexy, serious and sad. I really enjoyed it.

Oh my gosh. Georgia has written another fantastic book. Nikolai is a dark brooding piece of man meat who goes after the one woman that he wants. Star met her husband and soon after married with hopes of starting a family with him until he drops a bomb that changes everything that she has ever known. When a deal is made to wipe her husband's debt clean will she submit to the billionaire?
This book was amazing and an absolute must read!! There isn't a book of hers that I've read that I haven't loved. I'm excited to see what's next.

This is a dark romance so not for those faint of heart. There is violence and some very steamy scenes. The story will also pull you emotionally. The husband who ends up causing his wife to sell herself to save him. She is very young and naive but her heart is always full of love. The Russian boss who holds her contract screams sex god. But his own past will tear you some but his stone cold heart at times makes you hate him. But this is still a romance, so who k own what will happen.

Absolutely loved the story of Nikolai and Star. This book will take you on a sometimes dark but erotic journey that you will be unable to put down until the last page. This story follows the life of Nikolai from childhood and the dark side of Russia and Star who was targeted from the age of sixteen by an older man. This book is worthy of a five star read at the very least. This a must read by a very addictive writer.
