Rate this book
Great minds think alike...the greatest minds think like Nikola Tesla.Genius modern day inventor, Desmond Wright, longs to build something to change the world for the better. He's given his chance when a mysterious old man presents him with a relic from Nikola Tesla himself--documents detailing his efforts in constructing an endless energy machine, the Earth Battery. Unknown to Desmond, however, is the existence of a secret government organization known as the Combine, hell-bent on securing the machine for their own sinister ends. Now Desmond must set on an action-packed adventure to uncover the mysteries behind Tesla's last and greatest invention before the Combine can corrupt it into a weapon capable of shattering the very foundations of the world.

Just finished.

It reminds me if the adventure stories I read as a kid. I liked them then and like them still.

I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway.

Overall, I liked this book. It was a fun, quick read. Not terribly complex plot-wise, but I don't think it was intended to be. More along the lines of brain-candy. One thing to note, the romantic subplot is really underdeveloped, which caused the romantic scenes near the end to feel flat and uninteresting.

Nicely done.

Interesting and fascinating concept of free energy. Well played . The hero and the villian both were easy to visualize.
