Do Justice: Practical Ways to Engage Our World

Rate this book
Justice cries out for action—from you—today.

Social justice is no longer a hidden topic. Christians now understand that it is indeed biblical. But it may not look the way you think; it may not sound the way you’ve been told. Do Justice is a hands-on-guide that will allow you to dive in and discover what you can do now in your corner of the world. Hear the stories of brave men and women who have gone before, and be inspired by the work of others as you make your own action plan. After all, God doesn’t expect you to do everything, but he does ask you to do something. What is your something?

Great book on becoming active in Biblical Justice (and real Social Justice) issues. The whole book is kind of like a foot our hand calling followers of Christ to be active, as does the Bible, in making a difference in the physical, mental and spiritual lives of the have nots (whatever it is that they do not have). But, then as a foot our hand has toes and fingers, which, though smaller, are just as important to the effective working of the hand or foot, Brown takes the reader into several ares where Biblical Justice can be worked out. It doesn't stop there though, she tells the reader of those who are already involved in these areas of justice, it reminds me of the ways my wife decorates her fingernails and toenails, even though the nails are decorated, they still serve an important role in the health and vitality of the hands or feet.

A great book to help someone begin the process of seeing where they fit in doing Biblical Justice!

I wrote this book to -- hopefully -- inspire others to step up and find a practical plan of action on actively taking part in justice in our world. I hope you are inspired by the stories of men and women, from many different walks of life, who I had the honor to interview in these pages. They are doing justice...may we all join them!
