I stopped walking. Carly looked back at me with pleading eyes. I looked over my shoulder. It was him. I couldn’t see his face as he wove through bodies and tables in the bar. He moved with the same lazy gait that he had that night. Women’s eyes all around flicked to him as he cut between them. Men eased out of his way when they saw him coming. He didn’t seem to notice the immediate reactions of those surrounding him. It was clear that he had one get to the bar. My eyes lingered on the line of his broad shoulders and how his muscles moved beneath the thin fabric of his shirt. I couldn’t help but let my gaze fall to his bare forearms. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, revealing arms decorated in veins and bare wrists. The rest of him was impossible to see through the sea of people in the bar. He was hidden behind red dresses and swirling skirts as he made his way through a few intoxicated dancers. I still couldn’t see his face as he grew closer. Carly was tugging on my elbow and pleading with me to go with her. He was too close for me to miss my chance to see what he really looked like. I would finally have the opportunity to find out if he was really worth all the fantasizing that had consumed me for the last week. * Switch is a Bad Boy Romance with an HEA, no cheating, and part of an exhilarating series.
What a freaking disappointment!!! This book had all the right elements to by awesome! Key word HAD! Good characters, good secondary characters, decent storyline and heat. What pisses me off is the unanswered questions, why is McCoy called McCoy? Why did the story just end, just stopped! Why did an innocent ex turn into a walking talking psycho?! And what ever came of said psycho after the attack?! Well if you read this book you’ll never get these answers. No epilogue, it just ends at 72% and you get introduced to this authors next book. Well after ending this book like she did why would I read the next one!?! So much potential so little of it fulfilled! Sucks!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This is the first book by this author for me and won't be my last. I really enjoyed this book and the story of McCoy and Veronica. The part one on the cover eludes to more to come and I can't wait. McCoy, a cocky bad boy looking for trouble until one night his eyes meet Veronica's and she can't seem to stop thinking about him. Will McCoy transform into someone Veronica can rely on and love? Will her ex cause issues with their blooming relationship? I highly recommend this book, can't wait for more.
I fell in love with McCoy before he even spoke a word - that's how well the author set up her story and described her characters. This was a wonderful love story, Veronica learning to respect herself by finding a man who treats her right and McCoy finding that he's capable of more than he thought his past would allow. This is the first of at least three parts, so hopefully we'll find out more about McCoy in the future installments. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Wonderful bad boy romance. Well written, fast-paced but flows flawlessly. McCoy and Veronica are great characters with incredible chemistry. Can't wait to read more from the series. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book
I would say not HEA but H for now. It just ends with a few unresolved questions at least for me. There is another book McCoy to continue their story but I'm not sure I'll read it.
Veronica meets McCoy briefly one night on the street. And for days, she couldn't get him out of her mind. He had a reputation as a tough bad boy but when she looked into his eyes, she saw so much more. It's a pleasant story as Veronica & McCoy get to know each other. Then, Jason, her ex gets involved and adds a lot of tension, suspense and excitement to the tale. Great story, moves at a good pace and holds interest from beginning to end. Recommend this tale for all romance lovers. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five stars.
If you're a fan of bad boy romance, the Switch by Michelle Amy is the book you need to read. The characters are great, the story flows very well, and the writing was easy to read.

Headline: Wowzers! McCoy is HOT! I LOVED this book! I feel in love with McCoy pretty much right off the bat. I absolutely adore a bad boy who ends up being a better man the “good” guys. McCoy and Veronica’s romance might seem like it moved a little fast, but it still felt so natural. The story was in no way rushed. My only tiff or confusion with the book is the “Part One” on the cover. Does that mean there is more coming? Because I want, NO, I NEED more. I need to know how their life progresses, even if it’s just a few more chapters, Maybe from McCoy’s POV. Please Michelle, don’t leave me hanging! I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers. Happy Reading!
Great romance. Quick but filled with enough drama to hold my attention. Couldn't put it down. Love McCoy. Veronica is strong and brave. Carly is funny and sassy. Amazing charaters.
This is book one in a series. I really enjoyed this book. Was a great start to this series and really grabbed your attention from the start. This is a good girl/bad boy book with some sexual content, no cheating, scenes of violence/physical abuse and a soft HEA as this is a series. I loved the characters and thought they really brought out the best in one another. Can't wait to see what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
