It's not a bad concept...sort of a choose your own adventure where kids make decisions based on what moral choices the character should make...to lie or not to lie. It was a bit didactic for my taste but my kid liked it and wanted to take the story through all its iterations. He wants to try the others in the series. If he learns anything from it, I'm all for it.
