From the day of their fateful meeting with the sultan, the princess loved no one else, sacrificing all just to be one with him. Defying every norm she married him. But their happiness was short lived. The Mughal Emperor Akbar wanted Mandu and commanded his general, Adham Khan to march on it.

Okayish book. History is not accurate though. Baz Bahadur was alive, he even took help from Hindu kings. Do visit Mandu, you can still see those palaces that are mentioned in this book. Even Raja Bhoj constructed his fort, it was one of the largest fort in the world. However, his most visible legacies are Bhojeshwar temple in Bhojpur and a huge lake that he created using an earthen dam in Bhopal.
