One bad decision forces a change on Zara and Rider that they never saw coming. The president of the Renegade Souls MC is inked, foul-mouthed, unfiltered and gorgeous as hell and Zara wanted him instantly. Their attraction blazed hot, but in the midst of a turf war Rider screwed up royally with the one woman who grabbed his attention.
She wasn't a club whore, she was pure and beautiful and far too good for his dirty hands, and yet he wants her still more than he ever did, with her broken body and scars touching her soul. He wants her. There is no easy path back to each other.
Gang wars. Brother loyalty. Endless love. Dirty wicked things with ice cream.
Disclaimer: Some trigger warnings before the Happily Ever After. Recommended for 18+ Though not descriptive, this book deals with sex trafficking and rape.
I write steamy, emotionally driven contemporary and MC romance, featuring tough-as-nails alpha men who only show their soft side for their person.
My books are packed with dirty talk, detailed sex scenes, and swoony, slow-burn chemistry that explodes. I lean into dark-lite themes, sometimes forbidden tropes, but I always deliver that satisfying, well-earned HEA.
Currently, I’m riding with bikers and bad boys—but one day I’ll be bringing you the dirtiest, most seductive vampire in paranormal romance. If you love intense love stories, broken characters, and men who love hard and fight harder, I’ve got something for you. 🖤
Virgin goes to an mc compound with her friend, hooks up with the P Goes back the next day to what seems to be a club whore about to give him a bj(he set this up just to push her away,he didn't want the woman) She leaves 3 years later he's had lots of OW but has never forgotten her, raids a rival mc and finds none other than Zara the woman he can't get out of his head She's been held captive, is dirty and beaten and has been violated until she thinks she's broken
Just a bit too much for me. Hopefully I'll remember to let this be the very last book I ever try without getting safety details.
Gah, all my feels STILL with a re-read. I bloody love and adore that Prez and the love he has for his Icy.

Original Review:
You have to be reaaally confident in your story to begin it with sex between the hero and heroine, because where do you go after that? But, oh my god, the frisson is so palpable between Zara, the over the top naively innocent preppy girl with the hot af biker that it just worked instantly. I wanted it to be that soon.
"He didn’t do prom queens, she was going to be his first, but his thirst for her innocence rang strong.
Dirty Salvation is the debut novel from a new author and you'd never know it by the story content and the excellent weaving of characters throughout the book. It's effortlessly and it took no time whatsoever for me to become invested deeply in what happened to Rider and Zara ( as well as the other bikers, which I'll get back to! )
With all book heroes Rider is flawed and he fucks up, I love that he wasn't perfect and he knows it, which has a devastating knock-on effect that travels through the book and it's that story matter that the H/H have to figure out to see if they have a future.
What I LOVED about Rider right away, he's an unapologetic MC president. He doesn't mince his words when he tells Zara HE WANTS HER. Oh my god, those were some of my favourite moments, he was just so open and articulate in his rough badass biker way in breaking down every wall Zara had and this girl put up every wall there was, for good reason.
The subject matter in Dirty Salvation is not fluffy, it has dark elements that might be triggers for some, but were wholly needed for the story to pace as it did, we needed to see the bad to get to the good and when the good happened it is gloriously delicious!
For a debut author, she nailed it for what I love in my romances. Nailed. It. I could have happily read Rider and Zara ( and the ice cream. Oh wow, THE ICE CREAM! read it and see that hot scene! ) all night long.
In a lot of ways this was Zara's story. Her salvation, her walk through a life that was not always good, in fact it was downright horrifying at times for that poor girl, but to see her blossom from start to finish, going through the amalgamation of changes, I loved it. A real gritty heroine who wasn't two dimensional.
A truly worthy story. For those who love the MC genre, or a fan of darker romance and epic love between two characters who need each other. Dirty Salvation is for you. What I loved is seeing the birth of an MC queen coming into her own, into the power that entails running with an MC gang of outlaws. We see Zara in the first steps and I can't wait to see how she does.
Besides the love story I'm slightly obsessed with now, within the book we see the MC world V.Theia is building, glimpses of the other bikers to wet your appetite, to make you want that characters book ( HAWK!! I need Hawk's book like now!! Chapter 25 is worth it. so worth it. ) it's not always easy dropping in secondary characters, one of my pet peeves is a book crammed full to the brim of names you just instantly forget, what I loved about DS is it just teases you, you meet these new faces from both protagonists and antagonists POV and it all just enriches the story.
Did I mention I can't wait for HAWK's story??? The Vice President's story will break me, I just know it. We're given just enough intrigue to this bad complex man to want more.
“It’s you I want. I just made you come hard, Icy. Don’t ever think you’re no good, fuckin’ ever again. It was the best orgasm I never had. Now I’m going to have you…”
Rider makes my heart sing a little.
Can't wait for book two; Preacher Man! Seriously, add this book to your TBR! you won't regret it. It takes a lot for a new MC series to impress me. This one is going in my favourites along with Lauren Gilley, Kristen Ashley and Madelaine Sheehan.
This is V's debut novel and damn, has the girl smashed it! I have a soft spot for a biker romance, but damn, did this book put me through the ringer! This is the story of Rider and Zara and how they found their happily ever after. However before they could get there, there are so many twists and turns that will have you laughing, crying and begging. Yes, begging because Rider is a very sexy, bad boy biker who is completely unapologetic for who he is. He is going to melt your heart and make you believe that everyone has a heart. Zara is a cutie pie who has been through hell and back and is trying to find herself in this new world. Along the way, there are some sexy men who you will meet and damn if I am not ready to hang out with them now!! This story is full of excitement, intrigue and the sexiness is off the chain! You are going to laugh, cry, feel your heart be shattered and then put back together again, overflowing with love. So grab some tissues, a tub of your favorite ice cream, a nice comfy blanket and chill with these sexy boys for the next few hours!
I'm not gushing, YOU'RE GUSHING! shut up! It's no secret I love me some MC romance. Really love it, but it's incredibly hard for an author to get it right. They're either TOO over the top brash and forget it's meant to be a romance that appeals to women readers, or it's insta-love and the book just loses me. I mean let my alpha work for it a bit!
So, having said that; I can tell you I love this book. I didn't just like it. I bloody loved it right from page one! It's up there with my favorite Motorcycle club writing authors. It had everything. Love, angst, intense flirting, dirty talking bikers, and brotherly love.
So the nuts and bolts of the story is about Rider Marinos and Zara Freeze. Two people from two different spectrums of life. One is academic the other is a law breaking outlaw trying to bring his club back into line whilst fighting gang wars amongst another club Ugh. I hated Hades, but a tiny secret part of me liked that asshole. Ughh. He does some terrible shitty things, really bad, he cannot be redeemed, but I secretly, shhhhh, wanted his story to know why he was the way he was. You gotta love an author who makes you like the baddest antagonist You'd think it wouldn't work, what would they even have in common, but Dirty Salvation delivers so good so hard so hot! This is their salvation to a life together with a whole lot of dirty thrown in. The love scenes, the flirting scenes, the scenes that are all frisson between the two main characters is scorching, the dirty tongue on that biker... my god, does he kiss his old lady with that mouth? (spoiler: yes, he does ) He holds nothing back and I felt a little like Zara did, all hot and bothered and out of my depth with this epic alpha-man.
Weaved perfectly through the love/and heartache story, we meet the other club members. Each of them with their own personality. I have already attached to Hawk, so back off bishes! But I loved Preacher, he seems so fun ( and filthy ) and I am INTRIGUED about TEXAS. He doesn't seem like he'd fit in with an MC, so of course I want his book to tell us more.
Some scenes are hard to take, dark in tone, but they had to be for the story to tell its full backstory. The bad guys are extremely hateful and bad and then you have our heroes, all filthy great guys with their own flaws.
No one said a biker was good, but what he can be is GREAT. I freaking loved Dirty Salvation and already anticipating Preacher Man book two in the Renegades Souls MC Romance Saga.
There's a new Prez in town and he's called Rider. I'll bring my own ice cream.
I won't spoil it. But the last line of the book got me all in my feelings. Perfect.
A definite new crack-book. Can't wait for #2 Preacher Man.
I finally finished Dirty Salvation!! (meh...Life has taken me away from reading lately) I'll be honest, starting out I really struggled with this one, to the point of dnf a few times. But I pushed through and I'm glad I did. I ended up liking this debut novel. I think the biggest problem I had was the 3rd person POV, if you read my reviews, you'll know I always struggle with the 3rd person. I really had a hard time connecting with the characters until way later on in the book. But once I did, I couldn't get enough of Rider, Zara, & Hawk (I need more of Hawk!) I felt like this was a decent debut novel. I could actually see V. Theia grow as an author throughout the book, which was cool. The character development was good also. Zara really shines through the book despite everything she went through. And Rider what can I say about Rider, he's a badass biker who's swoony at times, sexy all the time and just loveable. Overall, despite my initial struggle, I liked this book and I'm looking forward to what V. Theia has in store for us.
Who doesn’t love a dirty talking, hot as f*ck badass biker with a body the Club girls will fight over. Rider, President of the Renegade Souls MC is all that and more. He’s fought his way to his position in the Club and made sacrifices for his Club to make it great. He’ll protect what’s his fiercely. Zara is both emotionally and physically scarred but with the support of her badass biker President she is trying to repair herself from the trauma of her past and to gain back her independence. Together with their insatiable need for each other they face their demons and the constant threat of a psychopath. This is a debut novel and a great read at that. The chemistry between Rider and Zara is hot, hot, hot. There is great character building throughout the book. I can feel a series coming on and I’ll definitely be lining up to get my hands on the rest of the sexy, dark and tormented souls of the Renegade Souls MC. I recommend this read.
It takes a lot for me to attach to a new Motorcycle Club series. I've read scores of them and not many stay with me afterward. It's always hit and miss, I like so few that it's usually 90% sure that I won't like it. Dirty Salvation by new new author V. Theia has broken that first book mold by racing to my top list of faves instantly.
Rider. You need to meet Rider. Trust me.
The story jumps right in on chapter one, when the heroine meets the baddest ( and hottest ) president of the Renegade Souls MC. He's cocky, self assured and tells Zara he wants her. After a night together, Rider makes a decision and everything goes to shit from there. It's one of those Nooooooooooo don't do it, Rider! moments. Their paths cross again years later in the most bizarre way, shocking way, instantly bonding them, pushing the pair together and that's when Rider's INTENSE alphaness comes into play because he's not letting nothing or no one, even Zara's own fears, get in the way of them being a hot as hell couple, no matter what he has to do.
You have to love an alpha hero who just goes all out to win his woman. He will kick ass and take names later.
Rider is bad-mouthed, a real dirty-talker, he has great love for his club, and his brothers, I loved some of the scenes he has with the boys around the MC table, they're all so close you can feel their togetherness, and it makes you want to read more of these bad outlaws who the author teases with their own back stories I hope we see in future books. cough-Hawk is mine-cough-And Preacher-cough
Zara is out of her comfort zone with Rider, and throughout we see her struggle to fit in, to find her place and to grow confident within herself again. Dirty Salvation has some really tough issues that venture into the dark romance genre, I loved the contrast, she wasn't afraid to tackle those hard issues, even showing us in graphic detail. And DS has one of the baddest/oddly appealing bad guys I've ever seen. I wanted to like him but intensely hated him.
One of my fave quotes was: "Let me set you on the correct path since all of you seem to be completely fucking blind to the facts. Or just plain dumb about it. Either way you’re pissing me off. You see him there?" She pointed a long finger towards Rider. Noticed his lips were twitching, his trained gaze alive with amusement. He widened his stance, winked at her, arms folded across his massive inflated chest, ignoring the needy-greedy woman at his side who was also staring at Zara. "I think you all know the president; you've probably even fucked him once upon a time." Snickers and guffaws went around the room again. Every set of biker eyes watching the show avidly now. "I don't care. What I give a flying fuck about is you disrespecting he has someone. Me. So, you can take this as your first and only warning I will give; Try to touch my man’s crotch one more time, you proposition him in any way, and I will drag you out of here personally by your slutty fucking hair and it'll be the last time you get through those doors.”
Damn! It was one of those YES, girl, moments. When Zara found her backbone. A pivotal scene in the book.
A truly beautifully written hard hitting romance within the MC life that has you cheering for this couple who against all odds love each other deeply. A definite HEA with no cliffy ending. I loved getting to know Rider and Zara. Preacher next! And from what we saw of this giant manwhore, his book is going to be just as glorious.
A side character to look out for because I loved him so much; Hawk. And chapter 25. you're welcome! Unf.
Dirty Salvation, V. Theia's debut novel was captivating. This book has everything I love about biker romances! There's a hot and steamy leading couple, badass bikers and action packed club activities.
My heart hurts for what happen to Zara and I love seeing her growth though this novel. Rider was absolutely perfect! He a dirty talking, sexy alpha male with a sweet and heart melting side that just makes you swoon! I love him!
I cannot wait for more of the Renegade Souls series. V. Theia has a way of leaving you wanting more by giving us a taste of others bad boy bikers and their potential love interests! I definitely recommend this one!
I'm so glad I went back and read the beginning of this series. I've wanted to know Zara and Rider's story ever since I read Preacher Man, and man, what a story it was. Zara was put through hell. I'm glad those bastards who hurt her got what was coming to them. One of my favorite parts of this story was seeing her blossom and recover. Rider, I really wanted to smack you in the beginning, but I came to adore you. Once he got Zara back, there was nothing that could make him give her up again. Plus, I loved his filthy mouth. Lol I liked getting to know the other bikers and seeing the dynamics of the club. And now, I'm like everyone else..... Pining for Hawk's book. Lol
3.5 stars This is a second chance MC romance with some dark themes. Rider is the Prez of his MC and he and Zara have a brief moment one-night before he totally messes things up resulting in some tragic consequences before reconnecting three years later. I did enjoy this mostly but there were some things that I wasn’t really a fan of. The time after these two first met and what Zara had to experience for three years before these two then reconnected it just seemed a bit extreme. But saying that this wasn’t actually especially dark as these events were not told In current time just as a backstory.
The narration style itself was quite wordy with lots of inner monologue which isn’t my favourite style though I did think this was well written I just felt it also had a lot of unnecessary words as well.
I did like Rider here he was definitely my favourite of the two as for Zara well she was ok she was a little bit indecisive and lacked backbone which considering her background did fit somewhat but I also felt she was this way before her life took that darker turn.
I liked the emotion this imparted and Rider was a king among men treating Zara like a Queen after their paths crossed again. He was patience personified and just really sweet with it whilst still being all alpha and the two definitely had some intense dirty chemistry together.
I did find the finish slightly anti-climatic though I would have loved to have seen Hawk really get his comeuppance though I did appreciate Zara going totally postal on the captured men who had tormented her.
Overall this had both positives and negatives. I would have preferred more emphasis had been on the gritty MC lifestyle and less of the hearts and flowers but I did think Rider and Zara’s connection was beautiful. This isn’t especially dark instead it just deals with some dark themes there’s also no cheating. I would read this author again and will most likely try the next book in the series.
Debut novel by V Theia and it's definitely an intense, hot ride. I generally stay away from MC books unless they've been recommended, this one I picked up by chance after seeing the teasers on Instagram and I was pleasantly surprised by the talent of this author. Her writing flows perfectly and she really does pull us into the story, making sure we fall for the characters.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Dirty Salvation puts Rider and Zara in the spotlight in book one of the Renegade Souls MC Romance Saga series. A hard hitting romance that left me wanting more.
I enjoyed the dual Points of View aspect told in the third person. Not only do we get into the head of both lead characters, we see insights into some of the other members of the Renegade Souls leading to intrigue of those characters back stories that hopefully will be told in future books. Preacher Man is book #2 in this series and it gave a great teaser to him and his heroine and what will transpire between them.
With any dark romance you have to expect some content that isn't flowery and mushy ( although it does contain hot sex scenes and memorable romance words and great lines you'll want to highlight on your kindle ) that has details some might be uncomfortable will. I personally don't mind these books, it all adds to the rawness of this story, and while it doesn't have too much graphic detail of just what Zara went through, her reactions were enough to gauge exactly what she went through, concentrating more on her rebuilding her life with the help of Rider, it does show her mental and emotional struggles and inner war with herself, which I enjoyed immensely, you have to go through the bad to get to the good, and this was Zara's life lesson.
With any fictional story it has to have some element of fantasy, of course the timeline would not be true to life and I liked that, because the connection with Rider and Zara is visceral on the page, it kept me turning them to the very end, it didn't feel rushed, there was no instant-love story, these characters worked for it and there was some really gritty scenes ( the shower scene with Zara ) that showed the author wasn't only interested in getting to that HEA, but showing the turmoil of a sweet girl who had been through the worst time of her life and the man who was determined to fight for their life together.
Rider was a hardass president who didn't hold his punches or his tongue. We see Zara go from a sweet naive virgin to a thick skinned strong woman who grabs onto happiness with both hands.
The book has a guaranteed happily Ever After. There's no cliffhanger with the main couple, but what we do get as I mentioned previously is snippets of the other bikers lives, giving a thirst for their stories. I loved this aspect in books, so we get to know all the characters, secondary included, without it feeling crowded.
I already feel like I know the Renegade Souls MC members very well.
A brand new author delivers a stellar debut book within the MC genre. A great addition to the great MC books that are out there. Romance at its best. The author knows how to give a steamy twists with a trueness of dealing with rape, murder and brotherhood and even some lighthearted scenes to cut through the darkness.
Things aren't always rosy, things aren't always happy, but Dirty Salvation show these men and women have struggles they can overcome for a great love.
Author has a way of making me want more, which is very rare. Already wanting to read BOOK TWO.
Who would ever have thought that virgin, Zara Freeze would end up having a wild and crazy one night stand with Souls President, Rider Marinos. He stamped her V card and rocked her world. But a cruel twist of fate made Rider reject her when she turned up at his club the following day. That rejection had consequences for Zara that no one could ever have even tried to guess at.
It took one act of violence and murder to reunite them and send them down a road of broken spirits, vengeance and really hot sex.
No rating...... Skimmed after quarter of the way mark:(
OK, so this story did NOT play out al ALL to my liking..... It was way too wordy and not enough actual "dialogue" for me, one of my pet peeves, and Zara..what happened to her NO just a big fat NO for me! Will I continue, not sure but right now, no:(
Great debut. I was hooked from the get. Give me some some sexy, dirty talking bikers and I'm in. Hawk is mine girls, so step off. I like the tidbits we got to the rest of the boys. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
First let me start by saying I normally hate and despise reviews that begin like this, “I normally don’t read (said genre) and for that reason……yada yada yada.” After those words, the reviewer normally begins to berate the book. But I am in favor of these type of reviews if said book changed (like the one above) the readers view on said genre. That would be the case for Ms. Theia’s Dirty Salvation. I never thought I would like MC books but through take overs and shout outs, Dirty Salvation was one book other readers and authors raved about for debut novels. I had to pick it up and see for myself and let me say, I was blown away. First, the writing is wonderful and I would never have guessed this was the author’s first book. You have Rider, the president of his MC chapter. He never tries to be something he is not. He understands he’s a rebel but at the same time, he truly cares for the community around him. Zara is a coming of age girl who sees Rider and wants him. This is reciprocated by Rider. They soon have one wonderful special night together and the feelings of wanting to be with her again, scares him. He does the only thing he knows to do and that is to scare her off. Fast forward three years, Rider and his gang are trying to rid the world of the horrible rival gang up the road. It is not that they are rivals, that has Rider all bothered by this gang but they are into a lot of shady activities, like human trafficking. Rider and his gang storm the compound and find a young girl and a woman, begging for their lives. These two were held against their will in the rivals compound. When Rider realizes it is Zara who was taken by the horrible Hades(the leader of the rival group), Rider knows he has been given a second chance. However, trying to convince the girl he let get away that she is worth all he does for her; after the psychological turmoil that was placed on poor Zara, is a harder task than he anticipates. After this short little recap, I can’t go into much more, or I would be giving away the story. However, the story is fluid with complex characters; which make the book. This first story in this series sets up for more of the hot bikers to be showcased. A man bun has never been sexier than as Ms. Theia describes on Rider and all her bikers boast a level of hotness. I can’t wait to delve deeper into the life of Preacher, the second book of this series. What I found unique about this book was the POV. The POV just is not from the main characters point of view but from many characters, leading to a better description of the main story line. It also lent to the continuing stories of some of the other men within the MC gang since this is just book 1 of a series. I hope each biker that has been mentioned gets a story. I am rooting for an immediate Hawk story-(Hint, hint, Ms. Theia.) Not many writers can pull off such a huge undertaking of showcasing so many voices in one book but V. Theia does it amazingly! Ms. Theai has just released the third book in this series, called Tracking Luxe. This is a must read for those who love MC books. Like I mentioned earlier, Don’t miss Preacher, book two in this series. The covers is effing hot! 4.5 stars is my rating for this book and I look forward to Ms. Theia making me fall in love with the world of the MC genre.
I always loved good MC romance books! Unfortunately or fortunately, there are too many MC romance books that I found just satisfactory or fine. That's why I'm in constant search of really good one. V.Theia was a complete stranger for me before this novel, I just dived in blind and WOW! Perfection! The story and charters were so organic, so real, so captivating and without any doubts intense! The struggles and complications between main characters were unbearable, but mainly these tough complications lead them to the deserved happiness. All the guys from Renegade Souls were amazing, funny, loyal, some mysterious! Can't wait to read their story as well!
So in love with Rider and Icy. Their relationship wasn't easy but Rider the MC president fought for his woman and I loved their struggles and ultimate winning of each other.
Loved the brotherhood feeling between the men, so fun and funny. Can't wait to meet them all in their own books.
Rider is a gorgeous book hero. GORGEOUS! I fell for him with his first word. <3
I read them out of order ( my bad ) but after seeing Rider in Preacher Man there was no way I was missing out on this MC Prez and his bossy-sexy-take charge-unfiltered hero self.
It was a darker story than Preacher, it's theme was sexual abuse, entrapment and sex trafficking, and while no in depth details are given, I felt the anguish of the heroine and the strength she had to make herself better. But it was Rider who captured my heart. What a book boyfriend! The heat and the steam were some of the best I've read.
The story contains no cheating and lots of adoration from the hero. Plus a disney loving heroine ( this quirk made me giggle )
Are you ready for a fiery MC romance - tough alpha bikers who ride hard and love hard. This is the Pres book Rider and the girl he had one night and never forgot. She a good girl now broken who will claim her place and man. I just downloaded the next book can't wait
Dirty Salvation is the debut novel by V. Theia and the first book in the series. I really liked this book! I loved Rider and Zara! Rider was sexy, broody and all alpha! I loved seeing the change in Zara! Looking forward to reading book two!
Wow I am blown away. This book had me so engaged, with its strong story line, wonderful characters and hot damn the steamy scenes well be prepared to fan yourself. Rider is — no adjectives suffice!! Zara turned out to be a lot stronger than I anticipated. There is a HEA but I love how someone takes a trip to Texas... funny doesn’t someone’s little sister live there? Gotta read Preacher’s story next but Hawk is what is really weighing on my mind. Loved it recommend it definitely work the click and time to read!!!!
Great read, couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read Preacher's story next. I hope V writes about all the MC characters. Hawk in particular. (soon please)
