Inside the Glades

Rex Hazarika always intended to be successful in life. It was an expectation driven into his head by his overbearing father. Even at a young age, Rex strived through adversity. A first generation American in an affluent school during the 1940s wasn’t easy, but he persevered with the help of his childhood friends. They were like family to him. But like so many things in life, this came to an abrupt end when a horrible tragedy drastically changes Rex’s life forever. Instead of the college bound path, like his father expected, Rex finishes high school and drifts from odd job to odd job with his childhood friend, Calvin. Mostly hustling or looking for a get rich quick scheme. Eventually the two land jobs as struggling paranormal investigators. Chasing phantoms and legends, but to no avail. This is before they get a tip of a lifetime about a strange creature lurking in the nearby Florida Everglades. Rex and his companion spend the last of their funds to chase this creature and document its existence. It’s a last ditch effort for success and wealth, but they soon find they are the ones being hunted. Bizarre occurrences, gory violence, and death mark their journey and they quickly realize they have found more than they bargained for inside the glades!
