A chunky A to Z board book about some of the coolest dinosaurs for young enthusiasts who are fascinated by these incredible creatures.
Each page of Dinosaur ABC focuses on a different dinosaur, from Allosaurus to Zephyrosaurus. There are large photographs of lifelike models, simple facts, infographics showing their sizes, and pronunciation guides.
Dinosaur-mad kids will learn about some of their favorites, such as Triceratops and Diplodocus, and meet some they've never heard of before, such as Nodosaurus and Yingshanosaurus. The text is aimed at young readers, and the facts are easy to digest.
All this adds up to a perfect first dinosaur book for preschool children.

This is hands down my dino-obsessed son's favourite book, but they definitely did not choose many main-stream dinosaurs to feature! It is really entertaining listening to a 3 year old try to pronounce "Quetzalcoatlus" and "Euoplocephalus", but would it have been better to replace the "Stenonychosaurus" with a Stegosaurus or something more mainstream? Same for the Baryonyx with a Brontosaurus?

Not for babies! Realistic photos of dinosaur models may be scary for some kids - take a look at the cover! Pronunciation and age-appropriate factsgiven for each dino - very helpful.
