Extremely simplified

It lacks deeper explanations of every phallacy. The examples are obvious, widely known, irrelevants, unrealistics or misleading. Not worth the money.

While I was reading the book I kept on thinking on how many situations I have seen and lived where all those fallacies happened, normally to make someone make a point, getting advantage of someone else. After reading the book I can't say it won't happen to me anymore that someone tries to take advantage, because it probably will. But at least now I know how strong the power of those fallacies are, and what people can accomplish using them!

Great primer on logical fallacies.

Don't let brevity of this book fool you. This is a very well written and instructive book explaining the fallacies of logic people employ to bamboozle others. The author, in addition to describing specific errors in reasoning, groups them together in a cohesive way that makes them easy to remember and apply. After reading through the book tune into someone like Stuart Varney on Fox News to see how these fallcies are employed and to easy it is to see through them.
