As much as I didn’t want this story to end, I can’t lie and say Rafiq didn’t do a damn good job proving he was bigger than what people thought of him. He definitely came a long way in which he didn’t allow his circumstances to get in the way of him being the man he needed to be. Yes there were people that were bent on destroying him but karma changed things drastically. Omg Kendra needed to learn how to move on and stop trying to be so vindictive. She allowed the past to get the best of her and complicate things further. Brandi sure made a big step and thought about what was best for Lyric for a change. Lawd Vanessa has got to be the most vindictive bitch of them all. That’s one mother I didn’t like at all!!! Aye Soraya is my girl because through it all, the past, the lies, the hate, and anything that was meant to break her or Rafiq she stood strong beside her man. There were times I questioned those Rafiq and Soraya surrounded themselves with but it was good knowing they got rid of the snakes before allowing the foolishness to destroy what they had. What could have possibly broken even the strongest person only made Rafiq go harder to prove him coming such a long way wasn’t in vain. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and can’t wait to see what other craziness Yo Loni thinks of.

Great

All I have to say is that is how you end a Series. Drama and Twists kept you until the end. Ready to see what's next for YoLoni.

Another Great One

I loved this book! This book was action packed and a real page turner. There was so many people gunning for Rafiq! I had to go back and re-read some part, because I thought I missed something. This was an awesome job! I really enjoyed this book!

Must Read

I enjoyed this series from the beginning of book 1. This series has been so drama filled and book two definitely brought the most. The jealousy and hatred some had was beyond crazy this book also built plenty of relationships. Ra and Raya are so cute together. Raya was a strong woman for toughing out plenty of the situations she was placed in. So many tried to knock her off her square, but she wouldn't let that happen. She also made sure to hold Ra down! Ra loved her whole heartedly! He would go to war and back for Raya and his kids! The friendships that were built in this book were amazing. TJ and Za were too funny for me. Those little boys were a trip. Little Lyric had her moments as well. Za was so much like Ra that it was beyond crazy. Mama Gwen had me laughing. She played no games when it came to her daughter! I was glad that Brandi got her life together because in book one I couldn't stand her! She grew up in this book. Kendra continued to work my nerves, but soon got what she deserved! This book most definitely ended on a good note!!!! I'm so ready for Angela's story!

decent

This was a decent book not better than part one, it seemed to much. I wished his mother didn’t have to be unalived or Kendra for that matter. For me it’s better for ppl to have to sit back and watch the ppl the despise win. In this case I understood where Kendra’s emotions were coming from when it came to what happened to her father. But she just went about everything the wrong way. It would have been much better if his mother could have stayed alive and hit rock bottom instead. I loved the characters but I’m super happy it’s over. Part 2 was too long for no reason. It was getting boring and repetitive. Unfortunately this was my first and last book by this author. The amount of mistakes in this installment was probably worse than the first book. If she doesn’t care to put out quality work then as a reader I don’t care to read and edit her books as im reading.

Rafiq IMHO was portrayed somewhat weak, but Soraya is the real MVP. She was smart, a go getter even though her past was questionable she overcame those obstacles.

Rafiq was not street smart and was not about that life. Thank goodness for his uncle Omar, his siblings on the dad side and his dad who got his back. He never look at the big picture and just loves basketball.

I cannot recall a hateful, spiteful mother like Vanessa. She was pitiful and all about her son’s money. She went to full lengths to get his money and destroy his career.

Kendra Kendra I never trusted her from book one, but GF was evil Woosa. She took it there. All Rafiq past women were scorned and very dangerous.

Now it looks like the author attempted to redeem Brandi, but I’m not falling for it. A leopard don’t change his skin IJS.

I think I may have enjoyed this installment even more than part one. Soraya and Rafiq truly came a long way, from a one night stand in their teenage years to their happy ending. No matter what obstacles they were faced with, they made it through together. The entire book was entertaining. Each character contributed to this. The author did an excellent job showing her character's growth and loyalty. I would've given this read FIVE stars however there was an exponential amount of editing issues, which did not interrupt me from reading but could not be ignored. All in all, this was a good story and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Loved it!!

Great read that didn't drag on and on!! Loved the storyline. Loved the characters. The editor could be a little more thorough, but it wasn't so bad that it was distracting. Loved the young sibling's relationship. It was all the things we read this book genre for. Will definitely read more by this author.

Drama with a happy ending

Rafiq and Soraya had more than a lil bit going on . They had so many snakes around them. I loved how Soraya stepped up for lyric. That made ra fall deeper in love. Overall this was a great read where the enemies got what they deserved and end with a HEA. Looking forward to Trey and Angie

Another Good One

Just like the first book this one was good also. Although Vanessa was being greedy and vindictive she didn’t deserve to die. I was happy that Kendra grimy self got what she deserved and Rafiq and Soraya got their happily ever after.

Whew Child

I thought Philly was "The City of Brotherly Love"? Clearly everyone didn't get that memo. Rafiq had some bat shit crazy folks in his life. How could a mother want to ruin her own son. I swear it's not meant for all women to have kids.

Revenge is so deadly

All those years of pent up frustration and anger. It is really bad to hold onto something no matter how hurt you are. You have to learn to forgive and let go
