About the author

I wake up every morning thinking about the story I have yet to write and the pictures I have yet to paint. I am compelled by nature to create. Like most modern women, I wear lots of hats. I am the parent of six beautifully adult children, a registered nurse by profession, an artist and illustrator by passion and a writer because if I don't get all the stories in my head on paper soon, my brain will surely pop!

Favorite things: The smell of oil paint being applied to canvas, animals big and small, the Northwest, oceans, mountains, rain and iced lattes.
