He’s a CIA agent. She’s a bartender at her family’s pub. That’s no big deal, unless her brother is a dangerous criminal.
Elias Nader is on temporary assignment in Washington State, helping the FBI build a database of Americans suspected of chatting with foreign terrorists. When he sees pretty young Angela Stan, he’s thunderstruck, in lust, and in love. Instantly. It doesn’t matter who she is…until it does.
But when a baby is on board, a hardened spy has to take care of his lady, even if that means a Wedding with a Baby Bump.
Heather Hiestand was born in Illinois, but her family migrated west before she started school. Since then she has claimed Washington State as home, except for a few years in California. She wrote her first story at age seven and went on to major in creative writing at the University of Washington. Her first published fiction was a mystery short story, but since then it has been all about the many flavors of romance. Heather’s first published romance short story was set in the Victorian period and she continues to return, fascinated by the rapid changes of the nineteenth century. The author of many novels, novellas, and short stories, she is a bestseller at both Amazon and Barnes and Noble. With her husband and son, she makes her home in a small town and supposedly works out of her tiny office, though she mostly writes in her easy chair in the living room. She also writes as Anh Leod.

Elias Nader is a CIA agent on temporary assignment in Washington State. When he sees Angela Stan a bartender at her families pub a passionate desire of lust & entanglement swarms over him. An entertaining written novella that is well developed with no plot holes. With compassionate characters that are realistic with real emotions and flaws. This a a sweet romantic fun quick read with a bit of mystery & suspense. A pleasureable read. I volunteerily reviewed an advanced reading copy of this novella.
As soon as Elias sees Angela/Shelly he plans on changing her last name. . . but he is undercover and her brother and his friends are on his radar. Can these two have a future?
I really enjoyed the beginning. It started to go wonky in the middle, and the end was even crazier. I also didn't understand the immediate name change from Angela to Shelly, and they barely said 2 words to each other and were having sex. The chemistry felt off. KW
Elias Nader knew from the moment he saw Angela she would be Angela Nader. However, with her her brother suspected of being in cahoots with foreign terrorist it will make his mission a bit more difficult. However, no mission as important as making sure Angela has his ring on her finger and a baby in her belly.
