Book three of Lessons in Control This book is approximately 89,000 words
The Reward was a great 5 star read. I was excited once again to get more from Dean and Maya, this is book 3 in the Lesson in Control series.
Dean and Maya grow so much more in this book. Maya is also trying to get Dean and her brother to get along, but there seems to be some tension between them. Unfortunately neither one will tell her what the problem is.
Dean ends up asking Maya to move in with him. She is super excited and can’t wait to see where they go from here. There sex life gets even hotter, there are so many hot, panty melting scenes.
Are you going to give me a lap dance? - Maya I don’t know if you’ve earned it. Nor do I think you could even handle that. - Dean
I really loved reading Dean and Maya’s story. It was great watching them grow in their relationship throughout the series. Dean was a hot dominant alpha male who was very protective of Maya. Especially when Charlie shows back up. There are a few surprises and I loved the ending. I’m hoping that this isn’t the end of their story. I feel like there is so much more ahead for them. I also wouldn’t mind reading more from Selby and Alex. Selby was such a great friend to Maya. If your looking for a great hot and sexy series, 1-click and get started today.

This series has been on and off for me. The Assignment was intriguing and The Discipline was slightly annoying as well as frustrating. The Reward brought things full circle and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that I was happy with the way Jade A. Waters wrapped things up for Maya and Dean.
I've gotta say that I was kind of worried when I read the description. Part of the reason why I've had any issues at all with the relationship between Dean and Maya was because of their lack of communication. Things did get a little tense in The Reward, but it appears that they learned their lesson about protecting each other and themselves from the truth - past and present. This couple has come a long way since their first meeting and initial 'play.' The erotic aspect of their relationship wasn't quite as 'front and center' in The Reward, which was okay. It was still there, because that was a big part of their dynamic. They grew as individuals as well as a couple, which is what I always hope for in a contemporary series.
I received The Reward in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Book three of this series did not wow me. It's good, but it's a little bit too consistent in a way that is overly predictable, frustrating in the form of Maya, and slow moving. I ended up skimming a lot of the sex because there is a just a lot of repetition to it. While the formula still works, the content and characters started to become overly simple. There are definitely some good parts to this, but overall it was just okay.
I received an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
I just can't express how much I loved this trilogy from start to finish! This trilogy kept me on my toes, made me laugh, caused a few tears to fall and really made me completely happy. Jade A. Waters did a phenomenal job with writing this trilogy. I'm so sad that it's over, I hope for a surprise novella down the line.
I will say that this had EVERYTHING I was hoping for. Romance, hot steamy sex, drama and a happy ending. Ever since reading the sequel to this trilogy I was ready for these two, Dean and Maya, to have a happy ending and I got that and more.
Maya and Dean have grown so much in their relationship and in this third novel they have finally made some big steps. I was so proud of them taking the next steps and really talking things through. They definitely have matured and grew from all the hurt they experienced in their pasts.
The reappearance of Charlie was absolutely insane! I was scared of him for Maya. I wish Dean could have at least got in a good thirty or so hits on him -- I'm just saying. I loved Selby and Alex of course...they are just too damn cute. Maya's brother was a bit of a douche, but I could understand his reasoning to an extent.
Overall, this was just phenomenal. I highly recommend this to any one looking for a good, light-hearted BDSM trilogy to get into.

This book was well written and I enjoyed the story. This is a decent read! Give it a try and make your own decision.
Although this is the third book in the series, it's only the second one I've read, and just as I stated in my review of The Assignment, the first book in this series, it was an okay read, and I sort of liked it, but I definitely didn't love it.
In this installment, the relationship between Dean and Maya wraps up, but since I didn't particularly like either character from the very beginning of the Lessons in Control series, and although there was more character development in this novel than in the first, and certainly enough heat to call this an erotic romance, I simply was left wondering why I'd read this one at all, since it left me utterly unmoved and rather disinterested. The book is well-written, but I've read enough BDSM romances to know that there are characters and series that I much preferred over this one.

This is the 3rd book in the Lesson in Control series. Dean and Maya’s relationship continues to grow, they move in together and continue to move forward, however something from Maya’s past won’t allow that. What path will Maya choose. I liked this read. Lots of drama and suspense and the sex is off the charts hot. A good read.
Four Stars for the writing. You definitely should read books 1 and 2 in the series since this is a continuation of Dean and Maya's story.
Each are comfortable in their roles of their relationship but secrets and demons from the past come back to haunt them. Will they be able to fight them and still be together?
