We live in east Texas along with our son and our dog and 2 cats!
We've got a 5 acre plot of land that we've lived in since 2000 and absolutely love it. OK the 800° summers can be a little harsh but the land is beautiful and you just can't beat Texans. We know our neighbors and like them...most of them...and where else can you see a hive of tractors parked on main street and it's actually considered normal.
I've been writing romance since 2008 when I wrote my first novel in 3 months. And it was a 100,000+ word count. Apparently I had a lot to say. I've written four novels to date, several short stories, magazine and newsletter articles and am working on a 7 book series right now. I write contemporary erotic romance. Mostly hetero, some same sex, menage "oh yeah" but all of it HOT!
What started it all was a dream. I think a lot of authors say that and I think if more people would write their dreams down and turn them into stories the world would be a much more interesting place. Two dreams compose two of the biggest scenes of Final Promise. One where Simon is chasing Karley through the park into the locker room, and the other when she has to confront him in the conference room. It's been almost 4 years since I had that dream and I SWEAR I can close my eyes and still see the tears streaking down her face looking out the window. My husband always tells me that I have sci fi dreams and on most nights that is so true. I could fill pages and pages of paranormal scenes with them but those dreams were HOT with a capital Damn!!
Whatever precipitated those dreams I am so thankful for. I LOVE Writing! It is something so incredibly fulfilling to put your thoughts and dreams down on paper and have someone else read it and say, "WOW!" But it's something else entirely to have a writer read your work and say, "Holy WOW!"
Now if I could just find where I misplaced my editor...

I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
Michael and Tabitha have been married for quite some time. Their meeting was almost instant-love. Michael describes that he saw her and fell instantly in love.
Tabitha is struggling with her marriage. She feels that Michael has been putting her wishes aside and not paying attention to her. And, because they have a Dom/sub relationship, she's floundering.
Without going in to too much detail, the betrayed trust is kind of the issues, but with their dynamic, they have to decide how to balance work, life and playtime.
Overall, the couple had great chemistry and the sex was fantastic, however, their communication was less than great. I do wish that they had more development in their relationship - it seems that they "spoke" the same language only in the bedroom.
However, I would really like to see the other characters in this book get their own stories too.

I received a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads
Michael & Tabitha have a great relationship, or at least they did. Tabitha is a "hot wife". That means she gets to go on "dates" with other men. Michael absolutely adores his wife and the feeling is quite mutual. The two enjoy the kink lifestyle but with the kink comes some rules. Rules designed to make both feel safe, loved and cared for while they keep their relationship open to others. Michael's business starts taking off and it's more successful than he ever could have hoped for but is that a good thing? Long hours, late nights, missed dinners and RULES being bent can cave in the best of foundations and Tabitha is feeling the fractures. Things fall apart one night especially after a missed "date". The two struggle to find their happily ever after.
I enjoyed the short story but the two characters are over the TOP lovey dovey. I mean Over the TOP!!! it got a bit sticky sweet with pet names and sayings, just a bit of a turn off for me. Otherwise, this was a pretty hot menage story.

When rules are set you have to obey them.
Tabitha was a sexy wife she was married to Micheal who had just set up his own business and Micheal could not love his wife more than he already did and because of that he let her sleep with other men in front of him. The man that was always there for her was Wes he did things to her that you wouldn't thing was possible he made her feel alive inside and after arranging a date with him to meet her at her house and then texting her husband to say he was coming round things got very electric between all three of them.
It was a good read but unfortunately I was not into the whole threesome or the sharing of the wife so for that reason I am going to give this book 3/5. The chemistry between the characters were brilliant they all bounced of each other (no puns intended).
