Let me start by saying that this is probably only the third or so review I've ever written, out of maybe 150 books I've read in the last couple years. There have only been a few authors whose writing and writing styles have enthralled me to the point of wanting to make sure other readers know their names and pick up their books.
Jaymin Eve is one such author.

The first book I had read of hers was "Trickery," by her and Jane Washington. After being thoroughly, beautifully entertained by that book, I set out to indulge myself in both author's individual works. That is how I found "The Walker Saga." This series lived up to my hopes and exceeded my expectations. The characters have depth, the world's explored are detailed and vibrant, and it is so easy to get wrapped up in the storyline. I read pages as fast as I could trying to find out what happens next, then what happens next, and so on. The saga really did feel like one giant book, and I was all the happier for it. The main character, Abigail, is awesome. She is fierce, yet compassionate. Funny, yet focused and persistent in her mission. She is young, but we never see her act like a child. She steps up and handles everything thrown her way with poise and some perfectly aimed humor, helped along by her best friend, Lucy, who is the perfect catalyst for ensuing snarkiness and hilarity. These books do have cussing, and for that I am grateful. It always puts me off when there's action and really hard stuff going on in books, yet none of the characters utter a single bad word. I mean, really. People cuss. It's less believable and relatable when there's not a single person with a potty mouth.

For any guys that read this review and are debating whether or not you would actually like to read this series where the main character and her friend are teenage girls, please don't let that deter you. I'm a 32 year old guy, a former combat Marine, and I can tell you the author, Jaymin Eve, has written these books in such a way that it doesn't matter if you're a guy or girl, the story is phenomenal. And I would urge anyone who enjoys this writing style to check out Miss Eve's other works.

I assure you that you won’t regret reading this series. It is an amazing, awesome, and fantastic read. I had read another series by Jaymin Eve and I really liked her writing style. So I thought of reading more books written by her. The cover and its summary immediately captured me. I thought, why not give it a try?🤷‍♀️ If I didn’t like it, I can always keep it down. I really love Abigail Swish, the main character. She is witty, smart, understanding, compassionate, loyal, and has many more admiring qualities. Everything about this series was amazing. It took me through a roller coaster of emotions. I felt everything the characters were feeling, be it frustration or happiness or betrayal or love. This is a series every fantasy reader should try.

Book Two
An enchanting read!

Secrets are revealed and loyalties challenged but with her best friend and soulmate by her side, can she really lose out?

Another glorious, enchanting and compelling book in this series. I am so glad I finally picked up book one and just started reading it. It is so amazing when you start a book, get addicted and read all the books in the series - such a positive and amazing feeling - and this is what happened for these books! So eager to read the next book especially after that ending.

Compelling writing. Gloriously written. So flawless and addictive.

The world building in this series is so magnificent! The author pays attention to all the details and describes it so perfectly well.

Full of secrets, power, seven worlds, bonds, friendship, family, prophecies, loyalty, trust, love, action and adventure.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/fantasy romance.

Book Three
A sorching read!

Will her chance to save her mate be the catalyst that destroys the worlds?

Another incredible journey with the heroine and her family and friends as they race against time to find the halfs.

I love the bond between the mates, between family and between friends. Love being a witness to something so incredible.

Also, that revelation at the end - wow! Can't wait to see how everything turns out.

Again, the world-building in this one is so incredibly wonderful and so vividly described. Pure magic.

Full of secrets, power, seven worlds, bonds, friendship, family, prophecies, loyalty, trust, love, action and adventure.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/fantasy romance.

Book Four
An earthy read!

She must break the melding bond with her mate; if she doesn’t, everyone will die...

Aww, my heart! My heart broke for them but I am so eager to see how everything will turn out.

Once again, so well-written and expertly described. Pure perfection as well as engaging!

Full of secrets, power, seven worlds, bonds, friendship, family, prophecies, loyalty, trust, love, action and adventure.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/fantasy romance.

Book Five
An angelic read!

A broken bond...
The fate of the worlds depends on it....

Another magical and emotional and incredible read! The words were haunting and amazing and emotional and lovely.

So much pain. So much love. And so much heartbreak.

This world, by far, is a favourite. They walk on clouds! Would definitely love to experience that.

Full of secrets, power, seven worlds, bonds, honour, deception, friendship, family, prophecies, loyalty, trust, love, action and adventure.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/fantasy romance.

Book Six
A mesmerising read!

Gather the Dronish half-Walker female...
And reform her melding bond with Brace...
But nothing is ever easy...

Another excellent, detailed world and journey. The vampire world was so interesting, cold and fascinating.

These characters have become my lifeline! Their amazing, strong, brave, courageous and absolutely funny.

I loved meeting the Shadow Half-Walker and seeing a spark between her and a certain Princep. I was totally shipping them as soon as I saw something between them.

The revelations that happen here - wow!

Full of secrets, power, seven worlds, bonds, honour, deception, friendship, family, prophecies, loyalty, trust, love, betrayal, forgiveness, action and adventure.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/fantasy romance.

Book Seven
A spirited read!

Will she be able to save everyone?

And the finale is finally here! I have no idea how to express my feelings for these books and the characters. I have no idea how to say goodbye to them. So I won't. But I will rereading soon.

I can't believe this journey is over. I think I need an epilogue. A long, long one. Or, a novella. If the author is reading this, please consider this. Thank you.

A finale you definitely don't want to miss out on. A finale that will have your heart racing, your palms sweaty and your breathing totally out of control.

Full of power, seven worlds, bonds, honour, deception, friendship, family, prophecies, loyalty, trust, love, sacrifices, action and adventure.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/fantasy romance.

This series is amazing, especially if you like the concept of other worlds.
The characters are very well pictured and in the end they feel like family.
Jaymin Eve has a way of making the characters relatable that truly is awesome. I am so happy to get the chance to experience them.

Wow - I was hooked throughout the entire boxset

Jaymin Eve does it again,
A Walker Saga complete boxed set: Books 1-7.

Thrilling, captivating, mystical, magical, addictive, funny, sad and much, much more.
You will laugh, cry, rejoice, have your heart broken, feel anger and happiness with in the pages of this boxed set of books.

After meeting her guardian, Quarn, Abigail (Aribella) learns she is not born of Earth but of First World & Walker. She learns that as the youngest & strongest of 7 Half Walkers it is her responsibility in finding and bringing together the other 6 Half Walkers from the other worlds in the star system and that the 7 of them need to learn and control their gifts in order to battle the Seventine before the convergence happens. Bonds are formed with mates, a melding bond formed and broken, all for the greater good of the 7 Worlds.

Abigail, (Aribella), CONDUIT, First World ... a world of unimaginable beauty in everything.
Talina, WATER, Spurn ... a world of almost all water, thus being hard for those without gills to live.
Fury, FIRE, Crais ... a world with two suns, making it impossible to live on the surface for fear of burning or suffocating.
Ria, (Queen of the beasts), EARTH, Regali .... a world of forests and beasts.
Delpine, (Angelica), AIR, Nephilius, a warrior planet. Fighting, bravery and honor are what the Angelica know and respect...
Sapha, SHADOW, Dronish... a dying planet where energy is how people survive and that energy is almost depleted.
Eva, SPIRIT, Earth ... a world where all Eva, Abigail and lifetime friend Lucy knew was that of a derelict orphanage style world where gangers ruled the streets, kidnapping and killing females.

I have to admit that I have had a couple of these books in my TBR list for like ever, the cover made me hesitate to read them, but then I happened upon this boxed set and read and read and read some more. I was totally captivated from the get go, why did I hesitate. The style of writing draws the reader in to the inner workings behind the story. You become one with the scenes, you follow the characters and see through their eyes, you get to feel the emotions that each and every character is feeling, good and bad, and it shapes the way in which you read the book. None of the characters are one dimensional, they have many layers to get through and each layer reveals something that draws your soul and intertwines with each word spoken, each scene playing out. Totally mind blown.

The world building has been brilliantly done with each world being so different yet unique from the others. The description of each world makes it simple for the reader to be present with the characters, trying to be their eyes and ears.

I'm not the best at book reviews but really wanted to do this boxed set justice as it was one of my all time best reads.

Jaymin Eve, thank you. Your writing style is beyond brilliant, you took away my reality whilst reading these books. 5 stars is not enough.

Couldn’t put it down! Need MORE!

I started reading this series about 3 weeks ago and just finished. I spent many nights staying up until midnight or later reading because I couldn’t put it down, I HAD to know what happened next. I love the dynamics of all of the characters and how all of the relationships between other characters developed. I spent a good 20 minutes bawling my eyes out at the end of Earth. I’ve never cried that long in one sitting over characters. I was heartbroken and it was amazing. The connection I developed to the characters was the greatest thing, though. I grew to love some and hate others. And the banter between the characters had me rolling in laughter!! I wish I had them as friends, and part of me feels like they are my friends and family. The intricacies of the worlds and species Jaymin have created are so very different that it is very mesmerizing to see how they all fit together so perfectly. I need to know what happens next! Without spoiling the end for other readers, Jaymin PLEASE write an “after the final battle” novella so we can see what happens next!

Oh so good.

I have to tell you now, I only gave it four stars because I'm not all that fond of romance. That said, it's listed as a romance, so I probably should've given in five.
The author created one main world and six subsidiary worlds, of which Earth is one. I read the first book . And tight as I am with a nickel, I bought all the rest in the set.
The first book is so solid, that I would've been happy reading it by itself. However, knowing that there were six more, and each about a different character, enchanted me.
The cover shows the seven main characters. Each is very different and very different planet. I have no idea where she was going to take us from one book to the next. There was one important factor, it was going to take all seven of them to save all of the worlds.
There are struggles, love and fighting, knowledge gained and dreams awakened. Seven tremendously strong women.
I really dislike telling the plot, so that is all that I will say. I hope it interests you enough to convince you to read the books.

1 I found that Abby and Lucy make a great team while Brace and Sam make interesting sidekicks. With Abby regularly needing to overcome ignorance and obstacles, the story moves along at a fast pace.
2 The water world is wonderful. Talina is fantastic. Plenty of trials and tribulations. Great adventures.
3 Jaymin Eve is a fantastic storyteller. She never ceases to twist the plot in an unexpected direction. For me, that is part of the fun.
4 I enjoyed this story. I feel some of the pain from this story, but also the hope. Jaymin is a delightful and devious storyteller. I look forward to the rest of the series.
5 This was a wonderful story. It has so much intrigue. Yet, the clues are there if you are looking.
6 Dronish (A Walker Saga Book 6) Great story! Wicked twists!
7 A great end to the series? Or might there be a spin-off or more?

Jaymin did a fantastic job of wrapping it up without letting things happen in an obvious manner.

I hope that you enjoy these stories as much as I did.

Omg! I laughed, cried, cheered, yelled etc.

I just now finished this series and I honestly could start it again immediately! Abby, Lucy, Brace,...and the rest of the fantastic characters Jaymin wrote in this series were sometimes frustrating in a way that made them so real. Abby getting mad at Brace cuz he disappeared after kissing her the first time, Colton shutting Lucy out even though he admitted she was his mate, Fury being such a biatch to Abby when they first met...these kids are all jo older than 20 yet they're responsible for saving not just their world but ALL of the worlds! The evil called Seventine were released from their prison...Abby is the only hope the worlds have to be saved.. but she cant do it alone so she has to travel to each of the 7 worlds and find a girl who like her has a Walker father. Does she succeed? Well to find out you'll need to read this series. I promise you won't regret it!
Thanks! Fate 💜💜

Fantastic

Really enjoyed this series, first time I’ve read this author so I was cautiously optimistic, I’m usually for the serious and dramatic but I actually liked the flow of comedy that was intertwined with the series. I usually roll my eyes at male posturing and prefer a strong female lead without a need for a man but in this case I felt the lead couple complimented each other. There was a massive amount of gushing but I could take that as long as there was a strong storyline.
Great world building and the only very small complaint I have is that we didn’t get to know Eva that well and it’s a shame there wasn’t mates for some of the half-walkers.
I would recommend this to read to a lot of my friends and can’t wait to read more books by this author.

Awesome books!

I absolutely loved these books! All the characters are wonderful. My favorite character was Lucy but each and everyone of them were fantastic! The story line and content was wonderful! I couldn't put it down and I hate that it ended, but it ended happily ever!!! I let the way you wrote the story with humor...I found myself giggling and outright laughing! I would have liked it if the four could have gone back to each planet and saw the improvements...I think that would have been a closure Coe the readers. I wish there wasn't the cuss words...I would like to have let my grand daughter read these books. Thank you for a wonderful time in reading.

loved the series

I got this series from my sister who loved it. I absolutely love Jaymin’s style of writing- some sassiness in a strong female main character. Mostly written in first person by the heroine of the story but we did get a few glimpses of some others that really added to the stories. I loved all 7 books and how they were all tied together and closed out nicely.
Each book at the start introduces a strong female character and her world before going back to the original heroine point of view. This gives the reader some great insight when the original heroine meets each new person.
Great series! I might go back and start again!

Word!

Nothing I love more than to read a whole series from start to finish without having to wait for the next to be released! Took me about 3 weeks to read all 7 of these books. It says a lot about an author who can drawl you in and make you live, love, cry, and laugh... with every turn of the page. A truly awesome read.. I would recommend this series to anyone looking for love of mates, the unbreakable bond of sisters and so much intensity that you can barely put the book down long enough to function lol.

I really enjoyed this series. I couldn't stop until I finished all 7. I love the author and have read most all of her work. I enjoy a good story without all the fanfare of sexy times. Don't get me wrong I thoroughly enjoy a good steamy scene but sometimes it can be distracting from the storyline. This was a great series full of twists and turns. There are times it will rip your heart out and give it back. I choked back tears multiple times, while other times I was laughing my ass off. 10/10 recommend.

A totally different story.

I loved how this was so different to anything else I've read. What I very much disliked was the constant repeating in every of facts in every book. If people start a series out of order then they deserve to not know what happened in previous books. I don't think it right that we who read every book should be penalized by having to reread all the same stuff we have already read!!! I would have given 5 stats if not for this!!!

Other than that I loved this whole series! I highly recommend it.

Don't miss this..."word"

I just took a journey, that's the only way I can explain it. From the beginning all the way to the end...I laughed, was on the edge of my seat and cried. Jaymin Eve has done something only truly gifted writers can do. She transported me to new worlds and invested me in the characters and their loved ones. So don't miss out on this series. As Lucy would say "Word"

Amazing series

I don't normally give give stars, but this series truly deserves them. The story is so expertly woven (not just written) that it's like watching a rose unfold in slow motion. The characters feel so real you will laugh and cry with them, just like real friends. Excellent, excellent job Jaymin Eve, keeping the pace and suspense building all the way to the end. Love your work!

OUTSTANDING!

Readers couldn't ask for a better scifi fantasy series. It has a little bit of everything all meshed seamlessly in perfect amounts of each.
Truly relatable characters that see each other for the unrealistic perfection AND all the reality of their imperfections together. This set combines it all to draw you into not just their story, but their journey, world and lives; individually and collectively.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!!

This box set was an excellent way to binge read the world of the Walkers.

This box set was an excellent way to binge read the world of the Walkers. This is a story of strong female characters as they struggle to stop the destruction of their worlds and fulfill their destiny. I enjoyed the books so much that there were a lot of sleepless nights due to the fact that I could not put the books down.

A Walker Saga

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and many others if Jsymin Eve, I love her thorough Ness and especially like the way she doesn't just finish a series but gives us a happily ever after to the series or the p prelude to another series. Thank you Jaymin for your correct grammar and spelling, I do hate reading books where I feel like I'm correcting the errors! Another great series, keep it up! Word!

Amazing

If you knew me, you would know how very rare it is for me to give 5 stars to any book. I gave 5 stars to every book in this series. I can count on one hand the number of series that have actually accomplished this feat. Both I, a former librarian, and my teenage son devoured these books. I look forward to checking out her other works.

Love it!

I'm a hopeless romantic and loves adventure that's why I gave 5 stars for this series. Although I felt like that the words "hot", "hotness", "sexy", "baby" were "over-used" in this series. But still I enjoyed reading this because I loved the plot; I read this series in 5 days ... I just couldn't stop reading.

Awesome series kick ass female characters!

This series it will lift the female spirits. When times are tough we get tougher. It don’t matter if we are scared shitless. That’s how all the female characters are portrait in this books. The man are partners and the instinct for protection is there but nonetheless they give the the space and the right to figure stuff out.

Great series!

The character development in this series was excellent. The author really made you invested in the girls and the outcome. I liked that the characters were not perfect, had flaws, made mistakes, but still powered on. Loved the bond between Brace and Abby as well as between Lucy and Abby. Girl power!!

Walker saga review

I really enjoyed this saga. Once I started reading it was hard to put it down to do anything else. I really enjoyed the storyline, and her use of wording was awesome. It kept my interest and i wanted to know what was coming up next. The only thing I hope now is that she continues the story in another book to add to the what happens now. Thanks.
