Cursed Hearts is a well written book by SF Benson. This book brings a unique twist to our standard vampire story. Not often do you read about Lilians and even less about mixing them with vampires in one book so this definitely brings a new spin to it all. Overall the pace is spot on I found, however the ending of the book felt a rushed, trying to close a lot of little doors real quick. One second they are at the council and then all the sudden one shoe drops after the other in rapid succession. It felt like the author still had a lot to say but felt like she was running out of time. Either don't say it or give it the appropriate time but rushing it like that just seemed out of place, especially since other than that the book was spot on in regards to pace!

Kelsie was a bit confusing, yet on one hand she really was pulled to Victor, yet then she seemed like she wasn't really into him. She seemed to have the "grass is always greener on the other side" syndrome but eventually she had a wake up call, thank goodness. She did do some growing up but it took a bit. Thankfully she had a good support system in her corner since she was rather oblivious on how her actions impacted the ones she loved.

Victor on the other hand was straight up with no secrets, well he had some at first, but I think he actually thought she knew what he was. Little did he know she had such protected life growing up.

Definitely an interesting book with an uniqueness that is important to me. Curious to see where this one will go from here!

It took me 3 days to finish this because the book is so good!!! I couldn't put the book down cause I wanted to know what will happen to these young lovers!!! Plus my heart couldn't take how much love Victor has for Kelsie *random fan girl scream*. Overall, it shows that supernatural beings can love fall in love with one another without certain rules that they have to follow in order to keep things well "normal" between humans. I want to say thank you for an amazing book and can't wait to read Blessed Hearts! 😃

This was such a refreshing take on paranormal romance and I loved the Romeo and Juliet twist to it! I really enjoyed how smooth the story flowed and the introduction to Falls Creek. I was drawn to the diverse cast of supernaturals and found it easy to connect with them, especially some of the more supportive characters. This is a great start to the series and I am looking forward to the next book!

I received an arc from the author in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

Great book! I love the use of less common supernatural beings! This supernatural Romeo & Juliet
is written in a fast paced, compelling way that pulls you in deeper as you read. I absolutely love the honest feeling of the characters. The ending is a bit too clipped, in my opinion, but that makes me look forward to reading more books in this series. I really want to know more about the life of Lilins and how their world crosses paths with humans as well as other supernaturals.

I loved this book a lot such unique characters in Kelsie and Victor. Cursed Hearts is a vampire and Succubus Romeo and Juliet love story where different races aren't supposed to be together. Even the side characters were great in Kelsie's brother Cash and Victor's Reaper Friend Nathan.. The Vampire Night club owner Edwina is really mysterious also and i cant wait to read more about her. i will reread Cursed Hearts often. S.F. Benson is a very talented author and I cant wait to read book two.
