A new generation in The Shade...

When the Oracle from Nevertide "blessed" Hazel, Victoria and Grace, they had no idea what her "blessing" might be until 9 months later when all three of them give birth.
The Oracle hasn't been heard of since. Years pass by and Hazel and Tejas have another child.
As the children grow into their teen years, it seems all is well until they attend the King of the Fae and his wife, Nuniya's reveal of their new baby boy.

The kids, along with Field and Jovi (werewolf) are in for a huge surprise, revealing their destiny - the true "gift" bestowed upon them by the Oracle.
In a strange land, and no one to trust but themselves, they set out on a wild and dangerous journey. Will they find their way home or will they be used for nefarious purposes? You have to read and find out!
I thoroughly enjoyed Bella's newest generation of Shadians. They bring even more life and intrigue to her ongoing saga - one you never want to end! This is by far one of my favorite series! Well done, Bella! I can't wait to download the next book! Another Five-star, must-read!

New Book, new season, new generation, new adventure and totally new story line. We have a whole new group of Characters to fall in love with and new characters to hate.
Just when you thought that Bella couldn’t come up with a storyline to top her past ones, she’s fooled us all.
This story is so good that you will be blown away and won’t be able to put it down. I know that I have said that many times but It’s so true every time.
I really don’t want to give any of the story away because it’s all so new but we still have the main characters in the story and we do go into the future again, which I find very refreshing since it gives a whole new plotline. What I can say is we have new relationships, new marriages, we have a breakup and we have a death in the Shade, two to be exact.
This book will keep you reading from start to finish without stopping. I will totally keep you on the edge of your seat. You will laugh, cry and gasp for air with what you read. Totally worth the sleepless night, I guarantee.

A Gift of Three starts as the last book ends...

The people of The Shade are saviours and warriors, because they believe in fighting towards providing a better future, for families to prosper.

What happens when your purpose is taken away from you, and you cease to remember they even exist? Why are you fighting and what for?

The story surrounds best friends who are blossoming into their own, but still are struggling to identify themselves (and the readers too might I add!)

I love the stories unfolding for these characters and do not have difficulties remembering their names, but whom they are sired too. WHO ARE YOUR PARENTS!
Advise.. try to read it as a separate story rather than trying to remember all the connections because you’ll pick it up a lot quicker!

I think this could have had the potential to be a good development to the novel, but there was only a few “nail biting” or intriguing moments (The Diary and the end chapter reveal).

And finally, someone did not get the “love at first sight” memo which I love!!! But wish Bella Forrest has developed more on... maybe in the next book?

Another in the Saga

This is just another one that keeps spoon feeding us while this author repeats half of the last book 'catching everyone up on what has happened' then she actually writes using her formula that she has honed in the previous series. Just change the names of the young people that are in trouble....and whether or not their parents (living in the Shade) know they are in trouble, and also there's always the question of whether the young person has any abilities. After reading all of these - starting with Sofia and Derek- I just wish she could write books for us even if it took a few more days, it would be so worth it!!

New planet and some new supernaturals

The gift of three indeed and what mighty gifts those three have received. They are in for quite an adventure. I can't believe that bombshell that was revealed to Serena at the end. Mind blowing and devastating at the same time. This story is going to be quite interesting. I'm also loving all the new kiddos of this season. I was a little disappointed that we didn't really get an inside look or anything on how Sherus and Nuriya got together. I would have loved to have read their love story.

These books are a great read which is why I am book 42, but I feel like it's the same plot recycled with new worlds involved. Why do the characters have to keep getting kidnapped/lost only to fall in love with the person they're staying with. I haven't finished this book yet, but I get the feeling that Serena and The Druid are going to fall in love in this series. I love seeing the new worlds, but there are other ways to introduce them without the kids always getting kidnapped/lost.

I have forgotten just how addicting this series is!!! I’m actually glad I was behind because now I can spend the holiday season catching up!

Another generation of events and finding new mates - if the past is any indication, the mates will be as unusual as always! But, no one remember the six kids... no one knows they are missing .... because it's as if they never existed....

Liking the new characters and the fact we've finally got a new narrative for a couple who break up. Much more believable to me now.
However this book lacked plot for the most part, focusing solely in large part on setting up the changes of the shade etc which although is needed, just a little dull.

Great start to a new season. I do hope Bella doesn’t keep them trapped through most the series though! We just got the rest of the clan back in the last season!
