Read three stories of the struggle to find love in the darkness. Call girl Celeste is addicted to sex and dangerous situations, the chance to love never factored in One Hour Girl. River searched for a way to learn to kill, instead she fell in love with a killer in Scarred. Writing professionally since 2008, LeTeisha Newton’s love of romance novels began long before it should have. After spending years sneaking reads from her grandmother’s stash, she finally decided to pen her own tales. As many will do during their youth, she bounced from fantasy, urban literature, mainstream, interracial, paranormal, heterosexual, and LGBT works until she finally rested in contemporary romance.

LeTeisha is all about deep angst and angry heroes who take a bit more loving to smooth their rough edges. Love comes in many sizes, shapes, and colors, as well as with—or without—absolute beauty and fairy tale sweetness. She writes the darker tales because life is hard … but love is harder.

The Lost Series has three very erotic dark romance books with stories that are undeniably believable. The characters in each book consider themselves as broken, damaged people who find a love that is for them only. For some, the stories may be triggering. However, the abuse and violence that are an integral part of each story are real. It happens. People hurt other people to the point that we see in these characters. What is terrific about these stories is that they unapologetically give us the reality that these characters live and find their form of redemption and love. Nothing is sugar-coated.

Royce and Celeste come together as a couple in One Hour Girl when he hires Celeste as his escort. The thing is that she is an escort because of torture and abuse suffered as a child. Celeste is a smart woman with a "day" job as a paralegal. However, she does not feel worthy of love and finds that selling her body and putting herself in dangerous situations are her ways to cope. Royce is a fixer who has his issues, but he does see Celeste in a way that no one else has ever seen her. There is much drama in this story and a heartbreaking revelation about Celeste's life that goes public. There is a betrayal, a reunion, and acceptance. This couple takes steamy to another level.

In Scarred, Ethan and River come together in what is the darkest of the three books. Both Ethan and River have a darkness in them that the other understands. The violence in this book is intense and yet understandable and even necessary. These two characters find a love that truly fits who they are as individuals and a couple. Their world is one of murderers, drug and human traffickers, and organized crime. They live in a violent world and love accordingly. There is a lot of action in this book, some suspense, and a lot of intense steamy love scenes.

Phenomenal is a novella and is the last book. Like the other two books, it is a violent world just not as dark as the other two. Aeryn is a mixed martial arts fighter who thinks he is a loser. Isabella is a woman who just ran away from an abusive relationship and runs right into Aeryn. They are two broken people who help each other find their whole selves. I liked them for each other. Aside from the very erotic bedroom action, the other action-packed part of the story is in the fight. The descriptions of the moves are pretty right on.

I enjoyed all three books. The characters are very believable, and the circumstances that they come from are realistic.

The Lost Trilogy features two standalone novels and a novella, One Hour Girl, Scarred and Phenomenal, respectively.
I really enjoyed these books: the first, the story between Royce and Celeste, it's about two souls with past traumas looking for redemption in a very different way. Royce's mission is to save abused women, meanwhile Celeste just wants her pain to go way and in doing so she became a high paid escort. Will Royce be able to save Celeste from herself? She starts as his one hour girl, but will she bacome his forever girl?
The second installment tells the story of River, a girl running from her past and an extremely abusive and violent boyfriend (Derrick) that seeks a killer/monster named Pantera (Ethan) with ties to the Russian Bratva to teach her how to kill. This is an extremely emotional, gritty and raw story where River wants to become a killer/monster and Ethan became killer/monster due to life circumstances, because he did the right thing and that decision landed him in prison. After seeing River abused, bruised and nearly killed in hospital, Ethan takes matters in his own hands and goes after Derrick himself. In River's head only one monster to teach one and that's why she goes after Ethan, but he sees things differently and knows if she kills once, she will never come back from that and be whole again.
The third book, Phenomenal, is about self esteem and believing in ourselves. It's a short story about Aeryn and Isabella - he is a fighter that loses fights to make money, she left her whole life behind due to an abusive ex-boyfriend. They met in the middle of the night when he left after another lost fight and she was in the street alone, with nothing but the clothes in her body, desperate and relieved at the same time. They support each other and finally find their way in life.
This a very well written Triology, the plots flowed at a good pace, full of action and gritty moments as well as warmth and tenderness.
I really enjoyed this Trilogy and as so I do recommend it.

From book 1 One Hour Girl.
So So So many emotions!!!
This story grabbed me by the collar and didn't let me go until the very end!!!
The instant connection and stubbornness made me fall in love with these 2 from the very beginning!!! the depth of the characters pain was real and I felt all of their pain and they found their path and entered a journey neither of them were expecting but both deserved.
From Book 2 Scarred
Absolutely heartbreaking and healing in one mind blowing story!!
2 wounded souls looking for repentance and revenge and they find each other.
The story totally blew me away and I loved every minute of it!!
Sometimes we are sucked into the darkness and sometimes we bathe in it but when you find someone to bask it it's glory with you, It's the best Ethan and River could have ever done!!

From book 3 Phenomenal
Short story of the trials and tribulations on NEVER being good enough!
Two strangers down on their luck give in to the carnal desire only to find what they were both looking for all along!!
I loved the story, but wanted more... Perfect ending to the Lost Trilogy!
I have learned anything from this series, it was that love DOES conquer ALL.

This is my first book of this author apart from Cutter that I'm reading of hers. And just let me say that every each story of this series was.. I really don't even have words to describe this stories better than what I can say. They just have that intensity, that feel that for me are great when I start reading a new author that you don't even know what to expect from them. In each story you read on this bundle you get that and for me it was way beyond what I was looking for some of them are dark but for me that is just a bonus. And every chacater they for sure didn't have an easy life they went with what they had and what they could. And it was just amazing the intensity of that love they found for one other. For one that didn't have words to describe this one I sure use more then what I was expecting. This wass just an awesome and for me it just had all the feel that I love and enjoy reading in my books.

Intense and dark. This trilogy covers the gambit. One hour girl makes you want to cry for the heartlessness of Celeste’s family. The abuse she had to endure and the total disregard of her being. I loved the way Royce thought though. After he got over his hissy fit he was the only man for her. Brilliant.
In Scarred it took me a while to warm to River as I felt she was whiny but then as the story evolved I took to her and enjoyed the duality of Ethan/ Pantera.
A Novella is a little sad but sweet. Stand up and stand tall. Remember who you are.
A handful of typos distracts from each story but I enjoyed this trilogy very much.

Trigger warnings - though if you're familiar with LeTeisha Newton's work, you should already know that going in.

The Lost Trilogy is a three-story collection (go figure!) about violence, love, and finding your way through the darkness. Out of the 3 stories, I liked the third best because it deals with a broken heroine, a favorite trope of mine because I like when she emerges from the ashes of her past, like a phoenix. With the love, support, and not a few fights, she comes out on top thanks to her anti-hero.

If you like dark stories that end on a happy(ier) note for the main characters, you can't go wrong with LeTeisha's titles.

Warning ⚠️
This entire trilogy will definitely have an effect on you.
Every page of this book will have you begging for more. It will even have you feeling every pain and every pleasure.

Great thing about this book is you’ll definitely feel the chemistry and the passion between each and every one of these characters.

Dark and exciting!
“The Lost Trilogy” is perfectly named for these three tales of lost souls that find love. The need to fight the depravity and pain in their lives, lends strength and determination to these characters. A line from “Scarred” sums up this trilogy, “We were two scarred souls twisted up in a tortured past”. I loved reading this trilogy and look forward to reading more from this author.

This trilogy contains three intense stories that are sure to break your heart, get it racing and of course, make it whole once again. Each story contains it's own lesson and challenges along with some amazing characters that are just looking for love. The road to HEA is not always smooth or easy but you don't give up. Enjoy!

I'm not going to break down each story, if you are new or looking to satisfy that dark tooth than LeTeisha has got the candy to do it.

They are so powerfully written. You can feel, understand or possibly relate to these characters. They reach through the pages and hold your mind, body and heart in their hands.

I didn’t like the female lead of the first story but I understood. The thing that I didn’t like was her relationship with her mother and sister; this really turned me off and I didn’t finish. Throughly enjoyed the characterization and story development of the second story. Could get into the third story, it was a little flat for me.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters are unique. With twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions one falls for a murderer, call girls and more going on in this trilogy that makes you want more with feelings, desires, passion and lust, erotic sweetness, sensational pleasures and heat from arousal.
